Hello bertv66

No one is better than the other.. You just have to work with the one is a convenient for you..

The reason why some applicants go for the new portal is cos you do not need to fill forms unlike what we have with the regular portal where you have to fill 3 IRCC forms and some times these forms give applicants issues cos most time it doesn't open until when the latest Adobe is installed on the system..

Personally, I still make use of the regular portal for the Visa applications I work on cos I am used to it, I haven't tried the new portal though, prolly the next application I will work on..

So both portals are good, some applicants who recently got their PPRs claimed they used the new portal..

So either of the portals is good to go..

Peace

Hi guys, A friend just got a refusal for the following reasons.

an any one help on reapplying and what to add to the re-application?

Thanks!

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors because:  You state that you intend to come to the UK for 5 days to attend a business meeting. However, I note that you have been employed within your current organisation since November 2017 and the documents provided do not demonstrate that you have made a comparable business trip to the UK or elsewhere for similar purpose.

 Furthermore, the documents you have submitted do not demonstrate that your employer has previously funded staff to attend this event and neither you nor your employer has explained why it is necessary for you to attend the event. In addition, you have failed to satisfactorily explain what benefits will accrue to your employer from your attendance at this event. This damages the overall credibility of your application.

 In light of all of the above, I am not satisfied that you intend to leave the United Kingdom or that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V4.2 (a) and (c).

just for clarification you mean to say I need both my sponsor's account statement, my own account statement which the money was transferred to, and also the deed of gift?

Since its a gift deed, you dont really need your sponsor's statement. The deed and your statement should be enough.

Good morning everyone,

For a deed of gift do I also need to submit my statement of account in which the money was transferred to. Or all I need is to present the deed of gift only

You would need both

Hi guys, my warmest greetings.

I currently live and work in Fredericton NB. One of my lil siblings(Half brother) who is 18 just had admission to UNB. Our mom passed 3 years ago and i have been financially responsible for him from God knows when. In doing his application on the new portal , there is a portion that asks the total fees for all the 4 years he would be attending the school(75kCAD). I only have about 35,000cad in my bank statement which i would use for sponsorship. My question is , would this be enough? What other documents aside from sponsorship letter, business docs, Payslips, death certificate of our mom, our birth certs( to proof we share same mother), my tenancy agreement to proof he would have a room in my apartment etc.?

Any additional info would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Just wise and family
My name is Al and I need your divine intelligence on my next Uk application.
I applied in 2011 for a tourist visa but was refused based on the fact that I didn’t show how my fees was funded. In 2013 I applied again to attend a friends graduation in Sunderland but was refused again based on the fact that I didn’t state I had any Dependent kid. So there was discrepancies in my 2011 application and the 2013. I only didn’t state in my first application because my son was been catered for by my mum.
Fast forward 2014 I have travelled to the US Dubai India 9 Schengen countries . I have my own company now and a charity foundation.

I would be grateful if you could help me tackle the discrepancies btn my previous application.

Regards Al

That is what you need to elaborate in your next application..that is your understanding of dependent and the reason why you misunderstood that question, basically your mum was responsible for your child at that time as you are still a student.

Though dependence is not just about money, emotional support counts as well

Thanks loads boss

so all the other documents i mentioned + the explanation i am going to give give me a big chance right?

# was thinking of making my mom write a letter explaining and stating she was the my guardian an took custody of my son in his early years

thanks

dear house

I need your opinion on my next uk application pls

in 2011 Oct i applied for a tourist visa as a student but was refused based unsatisfactory evidence on how my fees is funded in school
in 2013 May i applied again to attend a friends graduation in the University of Sunderland. the results was negative and these were the reasons
: the ECO made reference to my first application in which i stated i did not have any dependent children and in now in 2013 i say i have

She said due to the discrepancy between my previous application and now she cannot grant me the visa :NB THE MEANING OF DEPENDENT TO MY UNDERSTANDING IS " a person who relies on another, especially a family member, for financial support."

My son was in the custody of my mom back then since i was still having my bachelors

fast forward i currently have travel experience of been to the US with a J1 visa ,Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, France, India and a couple of African countries . i currently hold a valid US visa of five years .

i run my own company now and the current president of a charity foundation

i would like to apply again and spend just a week in the uk before i head to the US come June ..

basic documents i know i have :

company reg
tax clearance
business invoices
business contracts
business bank statement
personal bank statement
travel itinerary
hotel reservation
my sons birth certificate
tour reservation
filled application forms
passports

kindly help me out in explaining the discrepancies in my 2011 application and the 2013 application

His/her income is more than good. If these payments have been consistent over the last six months then you can submit a £1500 budget for your trip .

alright boss thanks loads

Set the balance aside ... How much comes into your account monthly . This could be your mean monthly income for the past 6 months

he gets 583gbp as montly salary from employers

and makes addition 496 from his commercial vehicle ... and these are the only deposits that goes into his account

*he spends 200gbp on living expenses every month

To my understanding, you proposed to spend £1,800 in the UK on holidays from a closing balance which was not stated. This makes no economic sense to the ECO especially at this critical time. Your stated budget was unrealistic and does not commensurate with your personal and financial circumstances in your home country which you failed to substantiate to the ECO.

It does not matter if your have a closing balance of £1M; if the ECO is not satisfied with the source of funds, I'm afraid the decision won't change even if you reapply.

If you must reapply, address the reasons stated for your previous refusal. It is either you work on a more realistic and prudent budget or be ready to defend the £1,800 you are spending in the UK for 13days.

But let me quickly tell you that securing a UK visa is no rocket science, but if there are discrepancies in your work documents, statement of account e.g unexplained deposit, I'm afraid you'll keep dashing your hard earned money to the UK Government.

Good luck.

thanks for the reply

the 1800gbp takes care of flight , hotel and pocket money

and its from a balance of 6899.67gbp

hope to read from you soon

You or your friend should not bother reapplying at this time because the ECO's decision won't change.

Work on your finances. The ECO is magnanimous and doesn't want you to go bankrupt.

thanks but my question is who goes on vacation with his monthly salary .. every one uses money saved for that ..

and more over he makes 3324+2880 = 6204ghs = 1088gbp and spends just 200gbp on living expenses which leaves him with a revenue of like 888 every month for savings ... 888x2 gives you 1776gbp that is just two months salary .....

* should we reduce the budget instead ??

thanks

hello house

Dear ppl really need your help badly

a friend applied for a uk visa with these dos

offer letter
intro letter
pay slip
bank statement with bal of 39,000GHS
commercial car papers
private car papers
commercial car papers contract with driver
travel itinerary
cover note
flight reservation
hotel booking
tour reservation

after all these docs he was refused

the reason: " you propose a 13-day visit for the purpose of tourism.

you have stated on you application that you are single and are employed as a marketing manager and earn 3,324ghs = 583.24 gbp per month

* you havestated that you spend 200gbp per month on living expenses , leaving you with a disposable income of 383.24gbp. you state that the cost of you personally is 1800gbp. this amount is 4x your monthly income once living costs have been deducted and i am not satisfied this is credible considering your personal and financial circumstances

* in light of the above ************** "

aside from his monthly salary his driver deposits an amount of 2880ghs into his account every month 3324+2880 = 6204ghs = 1088gbp

pls advise on what we should do as he wants to re -apply asap
