Why not Ngige? Ngige has the capacity, popularity, energy and drive to deliver good governance. Above all he can command respect from the East-West and South-North. |
Kano – A former military Head of State, retired Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, has said that he has no anointed candidate for any political position in the country. Buhari, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), said this on Saturday in Kano at a sensitisation workshop, organised by the Kano APC Forum for Peace and Equity. The former head of state said that he had no candidate and urged anybody who wanted to aspire to any post to feel free to do so. ‘’Buhari has not anointed anybody as a candidate, so whoever people want is his candidate. ‘’Whoever emerges for the party as the people’s candidate at the local, state or presidential level is Buhari’s candidate. So Buhari’s candidate is the people’s candidate,’’ he said. According to him, the APC as a party is not concerned about Buhari as a person or anybody but about the future of Nigeria and Nigerians. He urged members of the parties which merged to close ranks so as to ensure the success of the APC in future elections. Buhari was represented by a former member of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Faruk Aliyu. Earlier, the former governor of Kano State, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, who was also represented, stressed the importance of unity among the APC’s members. ‘’ APC has a history of unity because it came into being following the decision of three parties to merge.’’ Also speaking, the chairman of the forum, Alhaji Umar El-Yakub, urged the party’s leaders to avoid politics of hate, deceit and selfish interest in order to achieve its objectives. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that five of the seven governors in the splinter group of the People’s Democratic Party formally announced their merger with the APC on Tuesday. invest-now2013:Obiano promised to dualized all the major traffic roads in Anambra and am sure Nnewi will be better for it.

A technocrat to the core
|
Even Nnewi is getting its own Shoprite too.. Anambra adigo nma.. |
invest-now2013:It will be expanded more and remodeled to 21st century road network. |
taharqa: Interesting...The most important part is that dude has not borrowed a dime for 8years upon all these wonders. |
INNOisBACK: Good one from Obi. chino, i learnt he plans on building walkways on the road as well, if true, then it is commendable, unlike the open drainages in Onitsha which hausa people go to daefecate in @ night. I think my perception of Obi is beginning to change, he'll earn my trust, if his candidate(Obiano) does better. Anambra ga adinma na ike nke Chukwu! happy sunday ya allIt will have side-walks and street lights. Anambra adigo nma. |

FreeGlobe: why couldn't APGA deliver governorship for Agbaso in imo for ages or was it because Agbaso wasn't begging the Agulu thieves in AwkaWhy didn't Rochas use any other party outside APGA? That is a huge question for you. Until you answer that, APGA won the election and not Okorosha. |
FreeGlobe: shut your illiterate mouth political jobber, get a real job like us and be at liberty to air unbiased opinion. beggar. you will forever keep servicing people, hang around, I may hire you when am ready to contest for Anambra governorship tout.Go through your posts over time, you will realise that you cut an image of a messed up guy. Ngige do not know you, your ranting cannot help neither you nor his matter. |
FreeGlobe: Of course that was why Ngige's election didn't stand like this one for Apga wont. Fashola was in tinubu's cabinet for 8 years so what are you saying.I made that assertion because you said that Obiano is not known in Anambra. Fashole was in Tinibu cabinet for 8 years, how many people knew about him if not the same cabinet members. The question is the same way Obiano is unknown was the same way Fashole was unknown in 2007. If I may ask apart from being a commissioner tell me where Fashole has worked in all his life like Obiano who was Auditor to Texaco Worldwide before becoming ED. |
FreeGlobe: Agbaso has been contesting elections in imo with APGA for ages, why didn't he win? Even PPA won imo until Rochas decided to give life to lifeless APGAWhy didn't rochas use his AA or ANPP to win Imo state? Why did he had to use APGA?He could have used any other party if he was that popular. The last we checked rochas was virtually living in Awka when he was begging Obi and Ume to give him ticket. |
FreeGlobe: may thunder cripple your midget fingers you used to type that nonsense, did Rochas ever contest governorship in imo bar last election, why didn't APGA deliver Presidency to ojukwu when he used the platform. why didn't APGA deliver any Senate seat in AnambraFrom what I can deduce, you are completely a frustrated jobless fellow. Pickup your piece and get a life. How come Rochass never won any election all his life till he stumbled on APGA? |
FreeGlobe: Incumbency Rigging won in Anambra, over 80% Anambra people don't know ObianoHow many people knew Ngige in 2003, how many people knew Fashole in 2007? Can you reason like a human being? |
software man: Did he contest for governorship of imo state under the platform of those parties? In 1998 Rochass contested governorship in Imo state with Udenwa, he couldn't even win defeat Udenwa in the primaries despite the fact that Udenwa was a new comer. |
asha 80: i hope you know a lot of people judge anambra on that road alone. But they eating their words now, since the transformation started at Headbridge, Upper-Iweka, Nkpor Flyover etc. |
asha 80: why dont the fg give anambra state the permission to rehabilitate the whole expressway on anambra end so that we would know who to hold responsible. Its a gradual process. Let them do the most important part already. The other part does not fall within the Anambra major cities. All in all, I think they want to do it in phases. |
Elections are over. Dude hits ground running.. Anambra adigo nma.. |
Gov. Obi Set to Start Amansea- Amawbia and Upper-Iweka-Zik’s Roundabout Dual Carriage way Gov. Obi today received from the Minister of Work, Arc Mike Onolememen, the letter from the Federal Government conveying approval to Anambra State Government to reconstruct the Amansea-Amawbia and Upper-Iweka Zik’s Avenue dual carriage way and get reimbursed later. Receiving the letter personally from the Minister yesterday at Oba, Anambra State, Gov. Obi said that he was very happy about the development. He recalled that he started seeking permission three years ago and expressed satisfaction that he now has the authority to transform the most important road that transversed Anambra State capital, Awka. On how long it will take to start the Job, Obi said that one of his plans was to complete those portions of the road before living in March, he also said that he had already directed the Commissioner for Works, Arc Callsitus Ilozumba to start the process towards the award of the road and that he must flag it off in less than two weeks. He said the State would also use one of the best contractors for the Job in view of its critical nature as the most important road in the State. Obi said that if the people of the State were happy with what the State Government did at Upper-Iweka, that they would also be happy with what would be done on those portions of the road. He also said he had directed the Ministry of Works to consider for the award, a contractor with the capacity to also work in the night. On the funding for the project, Obi said that the State was already ready for the project three years ago when it started seeking permission to do it and get refunded. “All the projects you see us flagging off today, including those we shall flag off shortly, such as Three Arms Zone, Nnewi Shopping Mall, among others, were adequately provided for and the money for them set aside. As for the road under question, we have set aside the funding for it, so that one is not a problem at all. May I take this opportunity to inform you that upon all this, and despite not having borrowed any money, we shall leave with over 20 Billion Naira in investment for the State”, Obi said. Speaking on the development, the State Commissioner for Works, Arc Callistus Ilozumba, said he was delighted over the development because of its benefit to the people of the State and because, according to him, he was privy to the efforts of the Governor to secure the permission for the State to do the road for more than three years. Ilozumba, who said he had summoned the key people in his Ministry to come to the office yesterday, promised that the Ministry would work night and day for the take off of the project. FreeGlobe: Rochas won not APGA.Why didn't rochass win when he was in PDP-ANPP-PDP-AA-PDP? He has been in all the parties in Nigeria but never won a comnon Councillor until APGA rescued him. The first and only election rochass won was through APGA. Stop this e-madness before I strike you with physical madness. |
There is Carnival now in Awka and Aguleri |
Sincere 9gerian: Congratulations to all Anambrarians for electing the RIGHT man for the job. Individually, Obiano is no doubt miles ahead of other major contenders. You have said it all. |
FreeGlobe: foolish sycophant, you think APGA can secure one vote in imo. When APGA will win in Imo state you will start crying like your crying now. |
![]() 20pounds: Tinubu that you people are worshipping, is he any better; morally or intellectually, than Obiano? Why are you people crying more than the bereaved? Yorubas now love Ndigbo so much that you ppl want to dictate a leader for us? |
Chai ![]() Yorobaa is synonymous with poverty. Somebody said that he saw poverty walking on two legs in yorobaa land. ![]() |
Good job |
Islamic Yorobaa Party APC desperation. |
Ngige should be given APC presidential ticket for 2015 if the APC goons believes sincerely in him. |
