chocopearl: Education u say, well take a trip to Anambra and ask d teachers there if they ve received their promotion dat was due since 2012.Anambra ranks high in educational sector courtesy of Obi. Take your Islamic APC to your rural state, we do not need it. |
lee007: PEOPLE LIKE YOU SULK, HAVE YOU HEARD OF TAIWO RAOD IN ILORIN?, HAVE YOU BEEN TO THE MARKETS IN ADO-EKITI? DO YOU KNOW HUNDREDS OF THOUSAND OF IGBOS LIVE IN IBADAN? Stop it! Igbos are not in those rural state capitals you just mentioned. That you see one or two Igbos does not mean Igbos are there. The only place you can find the Igbo is in Lagos, and the last we checked it is an FG enclave as the former capital of Nigeria. Its never a yorobar land because it was not developed by yorobars. Go to your oduduwa territory leave lagos alone. |
Jenkizo: From the debate so far, some issues can be deduced which are as follows; (1) Obiano lied completely about Anambra IGR which means that he and Obi are hidding something from Anambra people cos if the IGR of Enugu state canbe N1.8billion then is the guy putting anambra figure at N600-N700million. Only Onitsha and Nnewi alone can generate N1.6billion. From Obiano's lies, it shows that Obi has story to tell Anambra people after his tenue. (2) Ngige is well grounded in governance of Anambra state. He won the debate clearly. (3) Obi has lied to Anambra people about fake minimum wage implimentation. APGA in Anambra is a farc. They are using Ojukwu's image to loot the state. (4) Anambra people should stop being brainwash and change Government and party for the good of the peoiple. (5) Ngige has being a governor before he knows Tinubu or Buhari so, the idea of being in APC should not be a yardstick to vote for truth, development and emancipation of the people of Anambra state. (6) it is worthy of note that alot of water has passed under the bridge during Obi's administration most especially the recently completed one of the biggest shopping mall in Nigeria built by Obi in Abuja with Anmabra tax payers money. Anambra people should not be deceived by all ethnic jingoism to vote against Ngige. Without fear or favour, the man is what Anambra need right now to pilot the affairs of the state. Ngige has exposed alot of things in Anmabra that the people are ignorant about. Obiano does not have the rapport and experience to rule Anambra rather, he is being fronted by Obi to continue the looting spree and make Anambra a one party state. All well meaning Anambra people should resist the imposition of Obiano on the good people of Anambra state. I rest my case. Ngige will rule well, please vote him into office. I don't really know why these yorobass will think that they know Ngige more than we do? Why are guys so much love Anambrans now, if not because your Islamic party is involved? Lemme ask you, was ngige exposed when Ubas fronted him? Ngige is too desperate because his past pact with the Ubas who installed him is dreadful. I worked with Ngige around 2004, personally I do not have problem with him. The only thing that will cost Ngige this election is APC identity. He is dining with wrong people, retired criminals and extremists- Tininu, Buhari etc. Peter Obi remains the best gov coming out of Anambra since creation. He has touched all aspects of the state without borrowing a dime. Today Anambra has the best road network traversing the entire states and communities. Anambra has a healthy financial conditon, Anambra is the least indebted state in Nigeria. Anambra has been coming tops for past 7years now in JAMB, NECO/WAEC, Unity schools etc. All the schools in Anambra has buses, equipped lab and libraries for academic enhancement. Health is receiving huge boast too. My happiness is that Obi did all these magic without borrowing a dime. Today Anambra is among the top performing states in Nigeria in the areas of education, healthcare, attraction FDIs, rural/urban development. etc The coming of Obiano as technocrat will take Anambra to the next level. |
highmood: Ziks place ko Ziks place ni. How does Ziks place looks compared to Awolowos place in the west. I thank God Ngige made mentioned of the three places in Anambra that could make Anambra great. ONITSHA, AWKA, NNEWI, AGUATA in addition. But in this present admin, how does this places looks like? Nothing to write home about. Mr. Ngige is a son,of the soil and I believe no Ibo man in any party whether from the west or north will sell us to them even if they are blind and we deaf. And if I may ask, how does this APGA of a party bettered ur lots since its formation? Mind u, u have a wife and just like a title of one of Chukwuemeka Ikes novel "our children are coming". What would u tell them when other states have gone beyond growth and are heading towards development? Would u blame the politicians or would ur blame ursef for canvasing for a wrong party rather for the right person.lmao! Yorobass loving us more than we do. You guys will not seize to amaze me. Anambra is performing in the areas of health, education, attraction of investors, rural/urban development etc. Mention any rural yorobar state that can compete with Anambra in these areas. What has the so callled APC achieved in SW if not piling of debt with nothing on the ground to show for it. Anambra is far more developed than the mud houses and rusted zincs infested state capitals of yorobar land. Zik is a Pan Africanist, the most outstanding nationalist out of Africa. So anything identified with his name is revered that is why Anambra Govt House is named after the great Zik. Same cannot be said of awoh who was convicted for treason and later took his own life. Why will any sane society want to identify with such character? We have chosen a technocrat in the person of Dr. Obiano to take up the torch from where Obi stopped. We do not want the Islamic Yorobar Party anywhere near Anambra. |
chocopearl: would u rather prefer Anambra to be in a mess for d next 4-8yrs to being mocked for a year at most??Obiano is far better candidate to the pack. Besides Obi's performance in education, health, employment generation through attraction of investors, rural/urban roads development, etc, is a major boost for APGA candidate who is equally a technocrat. |
kapai: ...so despite the 8 yrs successive effort of Mr OBI,[undertone cameleon]i guess ur claimd relation in office still left the workdone zero....Lmao! APGA is ours, so we shall not vote the Islamic Yorobar Party APC into the revered Zik's Place. It is a capital NO to the Islamic and Terrorist Party APC. |
fellory: Young man Anambra's igr hovers around N350m monthly.3 times lower than Osun state's 1.5b.He is only saying Anambra has a potential to do more.See link belowMy friend forget about newspaper generated IGR. The last we checked oshun is a rural state, which has only okada riders as the only economic activities in the state. Is there anything meaningful happening in oshun?NO. Even the combine IGR of such rural states as Oshun, ekiti, oyo etc can not match the IGR of Anambra. How can you begin to compare rural state to a state as Anambra which equally has an economy as big as Rivers state. Am an insider, Anambra's IGR hovers around 4-5 billion monthly forget about what you read on the newspaper. |
FreeGlobe: well unlike rochas, Ngige was born in Anambra and has spent all his life there. APC is not our problem, bad governance is Obiano was equally born in Anambra. He studied and grew up in his family house in Onitsha. |
unipol: Stop displaying your ignorance everywhere. which investment are you talking about? in dirty and miserable place like Anambra and Nigeria. who in his right sense will risk his money there? fix the country first then people will see reason to invest. Nigeria is full of crime and criminals and you are here talking nonsense.Anambra adi bago nma. Onitsha is a lot neater with good roads and security that is why foreign investors are coming everyday from Sabmiller to Shoprite etc... Investors are trooping in on daily bases with billions naira investments. Take your frustration to your poverty stricken, rural state. |
mekaboy: You are rather blabbing and contradicting yourself. Are you not the one one that said the best governors in Nigeria are Chime and Akpabio? Then i ask if it is because of shoprite. you named chime as the best governor and i am saying the only foriegn investment he has been able to pull into the state is shoprite. This is atomic bomb.. ![]() |
Team Ify.. |
The Ifunanya girl just surprised me. This is to show that what a man can do, a woman can do even better.. |
Kunle evicted from the Gulder Ultimate Search |
That is the point we are making. You don't judge performance on one sector only. All sectors must be under consideration if we must get the true assessment report. |
Why is rochass always looking for trouble? Good one orji, probably rochass thought it was a gentleman like Obi he is dealing with. The other day rochass was seen fighting Obi's aide for a mere seat. |
kcjazz: Actually based on FAAN airport traffic data Delta state had a legitimate reason to build an airport. After Lagos, Abuja, Kano and marginally Port Harcourt, the Osubi airstrip in Warri had most traffic in the country. Asaba is more central compared to WarriWhat reason does delta have to site an airport where there is no form of economic activity? When you talk about return on investment. Lemme make it clear to you that Anambra airport will be 2nd busiest airport in Nigeria after Lagos. Like I said earlier Anambra needs the airport even more than the people that has it now. My overall joy is that the project is ongoing.. |
We should partner Delta to expand their govt house to accomodate Obi and Uduaghan. That was the same mistake we made some decades ago. When we lost few thing to other states. Anambrans are too accomodating for my liking. We partner them to do 2nd run way, we partner them to build 3rd niger bridge when they do not even give a fvck about your 2nd niger bridge. Just listen to yourself. Lemme tell u when the chips are down 'our is our and your own is youe own. And that is why I see reason with Orient Petroleum for championing the International Cargo airport in Anambra. I keep saying that no state should build airport with the hope of tapping from other state's human and capital resources. That was exactly what delta did, they never considered what was good for their people rather they embarked on a white elephant project just for the fun of it. |
If I will say it was Delta that built a white elephant project because in reality Asaba is a dry place, it really never needed an airport in first place. So Delta purposely built the airport to tap from the human and capital resources in Onitsha and Nnewi to the benefit of its IGR. Thereby denying Anambra from benefiting from its own resources. Again there is no need to stay on NL and rant whether Anambra needs it or not when actually the prelimnary work on the airport is ongoing. If there is any state that needs an airports its Anambra. The good news is that they now have an approval from FG to construct international Cargo airport and its ongoing. |
Bliss4Lyfe: Who is Onitsha International Airport suppose to benefit? At the moment, Anambra needs a world class Seaport. We can attain this by lobbying the Federal Go to convert the River Port to Seaport or build one by our self. Why not the two states form partnership and expand delta state govt house so that Obi and Uduaghan can use it? There is no need to cry over a project that has almost taken off. Orient Petroleum has concluded some prelimnaries on the Anambra International Cargo Airport like EIA. |
kingbang: Its more than serious. Onitsha youths right about now are boiling and have begun destruction of Ngige's posters around Onitsha. I pity the man and will advise him not to spend much on campaigns because it is already a lost course for him. Ifeanyi Ubah stands a better chance (Even though i don't like the fraudster).Nwanne I just hope you do not want to misyarn when you mentioned Uba's name. The only thing you could have said is that Uba has taken Ngige's position as second runner up in the election while Ngige is now at 3rd runner up position. Its that bad! Am in Awka now there is series of meetings going on here and there to ensure 100percent vote for APGA. |
I don't know why am wasting my breath talking about a project that has gone half way. A project its site has been secured and EIA concluded and awaiting ground breaking is what people are talking about. A state like Anambra needs the airport more than the people that even has it now. @Manny read the link I posted on the airport project. As for the airport is already a done deal. Let's start talking about speed rail or something else. |
Kingband, I think you should ignore this boy, he is seeking for cheap attention.. |
FreeGlobe: I already dropped this thread but it seems you insecure folks can't do without calling my name in something that does not concern me. guess anybody that disagrees with you is freeglobe. its good you scored Chime 90% in Enugu city, now tell me a sector or city you can score Peter Obi above 30%Freeglobe go and rest, you need to eat and get yourself on your feet. That you do not like Obi does not change the fact that he is rated very high in all indices of development: education, health, rural development, employment/industrial drive, etc.. |
Anambra, the state that makes the Igbo nation thick..
|
APC is dead on arrival.. |
Stylaay: sister if there is actually anything we can do to ensure we don't go down this same road for another for years, i'll be to give all my effort. Just drive down to enugu and you'll keep asking yourself if people like Peter have ever been to enuguFreeglobe stop your madness, apart from the few KM of roads within the Enugu state capital, is there any other thing in the state? What about rural development, health, education, state-wide network of roads, employment creation/industrialization drive to lift the state from its poverty status. Some of you would have rated Obi 100/100 if he had used all the funds to channel to Awka, Onitsha and Nnewi to paint and plant weed like some of our neighbors are doing instead of diversifying development. Obi is developing all sectors and very soon you will sing his praise for having forsight. When other states were borrowing and squandering, he has not borrowed a dime whereas he is doing wonders in all the corners of the state. |
