GeneralShepherd: Iwuanyanwu may posterity judge you..this road was fixed in 2006 lasted till 2009 see the sorry state now.

I can't imagine I was in that jungle for 5years
Stop this nonsense..

Is iwuanyawu the governor? What nonsense. Instead of you guys to tame that clown called okorosha, you people are here blaming a private individual.

This is the same reason all the projects in imo state are presently abandoned, contractors owed, nothing..I mean nothing is working in that state since this i.diot entered their as a governor.

Look at all the huge debt he has amassed in such a short time with nothing on the ground to show for all the waste. Instead he is busy pushing money to his new godfather Tinubo and his hausa masters to the detriment of poor imo people.

Imo state people have finally entered one-chance..cheiiii...this is heartlessness. I think its high time imo state people begs orji to come and move them forward.

And that clown called abagworo will see all these and leave it to talk down on states that are far far better organized, decent, better infrastructure and forward-looking..

This is the worst road I have seen in Nigeria..TUFIAKWA!!!!

Longeria: Good to hear, peace is best appreciated after bitter wars. I urge Peter Obi to ensure total Peace by withdrawing all pending cases and make sure all are carried along. Mallam Rochas Okorocha must be shocked and disappointed that the fire he brought into Apga has quenched abruptly. I want to make it known to him that by dumping Apga to apc, he has entered ONE CHANCE BUS.
Anambrans are models..

They are the only people I have seen that does not believe in following others that are not Anambrans..rather they chart the course and lead for others to follow them. This has been the case right from the time of great Zik till now..

Maybe the clown okorosha thought an average Anambran will follow him to his yuruba party ACN/APC. No no..no Anambran with all the Gods' given wisdom can do follow-follow..
PoliticsRe: APGA Crisis: Obi, Umeh Reconcile by bestview: 4:25pm On Jul 30, 2013
Soludo-Solution..

APGA was formed by a great Anambran- Ikemba. So we shall continue to be led here in Anambra- the light of the Naiton by APGA.

Tolexander: why are the anambra people now shouting as if they have their only citizens deported from lagos?
These people and propaganda!
Point of correction. None of those people are from Anambra. Its not in Anambra culture to be public charge or burden.
PoliticsRe: Soludo Joins APGA As A Gubernatorial Aspirant by bestview: 7:48am On Jul 30, 2013
PapaBrowne: Wow!! Excellent.

I was pained at Soludo's loss in 2010.

I can't wait for the Soludo Solution. This is excellent. Let all those 23 PDP folks slug it out with themselves.

Soludo has a free ride here. I hope Chris remains in the senate. Thats where he belongs.

Anambra will be the greatest state(Or second greatest. Edo will be the greatest grin) in Nigeria if Soludo comes on board, not because of Soludo himself, but because he will be able to harness the collective power of Anambrarians for the massive development of Anambra State and an eventual spread across the South East region.

Anambra state without question has the greatest collection of capable Nigerians. No state is that blessed in terms of Human resources.

Of course, that one is unarguable..

Its a fact known world over..

Not Chief, but Professor Chukwuma Soludo

abagoro: Which ever way we look at it I'm impressed with how the Anambra political atmosphere is shaping up. Whether Ngige or Soludo, it is a win-win for Anambrians. Can't wait for them to join the league of States with real leaders. Right now if I was in Anambra I would be confused on who to vote for between Soludo and Ngige. The Ubas will be a continuation of business as usual.
You have come again with your usual madness. Let me make it clear to you now, the least leader in Anambra state trounces all the best candidate from your state and also present clown called governor in your state. That is a known fact! Deal with it..

@Topic: Anambra is the home of the brightests, most times its always too hard to a choice.

take dat: Short sighted, lazy and patronage-inclined self styled ethnic champions engaging in senseless ethnic-based and irrational arguments. So because both men are not from the ND, they must not interfere in ND affairs? So the Ijaws are now the mouthpiece for the entire region? The Ijaws most especially should shun forthwith, their agenda of promoting threat situations, and defending the indefensible whenever the presidency is criticized. No tribe has the monopoly of violence, nothing must happen to both men(WS and Falana)

Let them enter their. The Ijaws I know too well does not take back their words, they will lynch them both if they dare to set foot in ND soil..

Useless yuruba people, I think you people should go and solve numerous problems bedeviling you backward tribe..

This is da bomb..
PoliticsAnambra Professionals and Indian Specialists Building N38bn Hospital by bestview(op):
AWKA—A GROUP of Anambra professionals is to partner with some Indian medical specialists to establish a world-class hospital in the state estimated to cost about N38 billion.

The proposed 200-bed hospital is expected to employ about 100 doctors and 1,500 nurses and other medical professionals.

Promoter of the project, Igwe Chukwuemeka Ilouno of Ifitedunu, a medical practitioner, said funds for the hospital would be sourced through international financial institutions such as the World Bank, African Development Bank, AfDB, as well as known financial donors, international health foundations, medical philanthropic organisations and international health facilities.

According to Ilouno, a large parcel of land has been acquired for the project at Ifitedunu. He added that the Anambra State government had constructed a road to the site and also promised to provide a bore-hole for water supply.

He added that the hospital would be fitted with on-line tele-medicine exchange programme with American health institutions and universities and will be affiliated to numerous international health centres in the USA, Europe and Asia, especially India.

Ilouno said the hospital would come on stream in 2015, adding that Governor Peter Obi would turn the sod for the building of the structure in the next few months.

Meanwhile, as part of the partnership, 10 Indian medical specialists with hi-tech medical equipment are to provide five weeks medical services on complicated medical issues in three hospitals in Anambra State from June 23, 2013.

The three hospitals are Iyi Enu Hospital, Ogidi in Idemili North local government area, Regina Caeli Hospital, Awka and Anambra University Teaching Hospital, also in Awka.

He urged the people of Anambra and other neigbouring states to take advantage of the health exercise, which he described as part of health investment programme being promoted by the 10 medical specialists, who represent five renowned health facilities in India.

Ilouno said the Indian doctors will, in conjunction with Nigerian doctors, perform surgical operations and provide other health care services in the three hospitals.

He said: “They are coming with some of their hi-tech medical equipment which they use in carrying out the wonderful medical services we hear about. They will also be here with full retinue of ophthalmologists, in addition to specialists in knee surgery, orthopedic repairs, brain and spine.

“They will also be treating all cases of stroke, prostate cancer and other cancer related illnesses with medical precision with the help of their hi-tech equipments.”

I am a little happy about this Emeka Offor connection if that is true because then my candidate Soludo's chances increases. hehe.
But is Emeka offor that much richer than Andy Uba? Why then did they say that this Walter Okeke guy is miles ahead of Andy Uba? Am I missing something here?
Of course you missed it. The writer implying that Okeke guy has upper hand on being the only guy that has entered all the crannies of the state and knows the geographic set up of the state, and not that he is any richer nor more intelligent than others. (its still the opinion of the writer though).
PoliticsRe: ANAMBRA 2014: One Office, Multiple Contenders by bestview: 10:48am On Jul 28, 2013
Onlytruth: I don't really think that is THE main issue, though the author tried to play that.
If APGA has to field a non-Catholic to win, Peter Obi won't have a choice than to support that candidate, unless he wants to bury APGA.
Soludo remains our best, only that he does not have money. He is not a money bag. He was a government employee for crying out loud. So, he needs monetary support to stand a chance. That is where Gov Obi comes in.
Soludo does not have money? Hmmmm..dig that guy profile very well.

There is difference between educated wealthy man and uneducated ones. Who would have ever known that Peter Obi was already a corporate don before now? Peter Obi have so many world class entities but you don't hear him make noise like Ifeanyi Uba. The same thing is applies to Andy Uba he is among the five richest Nigerian but he doesn't make noise. That is the difference between rich lettered men and the unlettered ones.

londoner: You have a point. it looks bushy and should be landscaped.

You do have to ask yourself, why you felt your only input here should be a criticism.

I know you are not Igbo, but lets not see everything as an opportunity to criticise efforts, mainly because it as done a region of the country, we feel we need to see as enemies.

The Yoruba versus Igbo versus Hausa tradition is only stopping Nigeria from moving forward.

Its time we all stopped it.

@bestview....the same goes for you. We all have poor areas that could do with some tlc in Nigeria it is not Yorubas alone......they also have nice buikldings, if you check the thread on Lagos Family homes.

Its enough now, let us stop this mindless tribalism.
Let is be said now..lagos is not part of yuruba land. The last I checked lagos was opened up by FG as former FCT and Igbos and Hausas. That is why Igbos and Hausas has the largest stakes holding the economy of lagos till today. The choicest areas were acquired by these two groups, leaving yurubas at Oshodi and Agege areas..

Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo, Oshu, Ogon are the real and proper yuruba states. If you want to know their ingenuity travel to one of those states I mentioned. I bet you will be shocked to the marrow as to what are they still doing in the 1500, whilst the rest of the country led by East are already in the 21st century. grin grin

So those living in the east just started living in the 21st century?

Anyway am done with you...before I get ban for derailing the thread. This is about a teaching hospital and not any other thing .
Here is an economy indicator..

This is SW appears as if they are still in the 1500 while that of SE is already in the 21st Century and moving into 22....
