Following her public outcry yesterday alleging that her luggage was stolen from a private jet, FAAN has replied the musician.


The Federal airports authority of Nigeria, FAAN, has reacted to allegations of theft reported by top Nigerian musician, Tiwa Savage. While debunking the allegation, FAAN said the report is ‘false and Baseless’.
Tiwa had raised alarm on social media yesterday that her luggage was stolen from a Bombardier Challenger 605 jet with registration number T7-A00 while it was slowly taxiing to a Hangar at the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos.

Vanguard reported that the jet had landed at the international airport after 8pm and was taxing to the Executive Hangar while another aircraft was about to take off so the jet was on hold and it was at that point that the robbers opened the cargo door and stole luggages belonging to the her and Wizkid.

In his Christmas message on Saturday, President Muhammadu Buhari has assured Nigerians of better days ahead.



President Muhammadu Buhari felicitates with Nigerians on Christmas, and has given the assurance of better days ahead.
In his 2017 Christmas message on Saturday, he said: “I am deeply convinced that better days lie ahead for us as a nation as we make progress on all the major fronts where we have set our energies to surmount the challenges.’’

He said that the government had stepped up efforts to halt the upsurge in illegal trans-border movement.

Buhari said effort is on to “halt this wickedness against the upwardly mobile generation, and have evacuated some of our compatriots stranded abroad’’.

“We appeal to them to shun the allure of embarking on such perilous journeys.

“Lately, we have witnessed an upsurge in the activities of trans-border syndicates who lure our youths to modern slavery through irregular migration.’’

He also urged Nigerians to support and pray for Nigerian soldiers who are engaged in the fight against insurgents and those engaged in bringing peace to the country.

“By the same token, and keeping with the spirit of the season, our gallant troops serving in the frontlines in the fight against insurgency; those wounded, lying in the hospital, as well as civilians who have suffered the brunt of evil and wicked elements these past years, deserve our fervent goodwill and sustained prayers.

“The personal fortitude of these individuals will continue to inspire us to victory as we turn the tide against the enemy and annihilate those who work against the unity of our nation.

“ As we celebrate this Yuletide season, let us devote some time to pray and appreciate the sacrifices of members of our armed services to keep our nation safe and secure.’’

He also urged Nigerians to remember to provide refuge to those who could not enjoy Christmas at home with their families, or have been driven from their homes by insurgency or violence, particularly the Internally Displaced Persons.

“I felicitate with all Nigerians, particularly our Christian brothers and sisters, on the occasion of this year’s Christmas day celebration.

“The commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ is an important opportunity for us to show love to one another and encourage unity by spending quality time with our friends, families and the less-privileged.

​A man who is desperate to travel home with his ‘precious’ goat this Christmas season, has decided to tie the animal on top of a moving vehicle as the car is already filled up.

While millions of Nigerians are preparing for the Christmas festivity in various ways, a passenger decided to take a goat along in a very unconventional way.

Some photos which emerged online show how the goat was tied along with other goods on top of the commercial bus without considering the safety of the goat or other road users.

The pictures were taken by a shocked motorist who spotted this while travelling to Enugu state.

David Olumide Aderinokun, the husband of media personality Stephanie Coker is reportedly being held at the Kirikiri prisons following an arraignment related to fraud at the Igbosere Magistrate Court, Lagos.

The Catholic church has re-dedicated the Anambra church where a deadly shooting took place some days ago.

The Catholic Church on Saturday performed re-dedication rituals on St. Philip’s Catholic Church, Amakwa, Ozubulu, Anambra State where 13 worshippers were killed by a gunman, PM News reports.

The rituals were performed by his lordship, Most Rev. Hillary Odili Okeke who led other worshippers of the church to bless and rededicate the to God.

Three persons have been arrested in connection with the crime and are currently in police detention.

The church is expected to hold its first mass since the attack in the church premises today August 13th.

A lesbian woman has brutally killed her gay wife after being married together for one whole year.

Felicia Dormans, a 29-year-old woman, has shot and killed her 28-year-old lesbian wife, Laura Bluesstein in their home in Mill Street, Mount Holly, New Jersey, United States.

According to Daily Mail UK, the police in Burlington County were called by of Bluestein’s relatives, saying there had been an assault at the residence.

The Police arrived at the house and found Dormans dead from a gunshot wound to the face.

Laura Blusstein, who played the husband role in the marriage was still inside the home and was taken into custody by the police.

Police are still trying to ascertain what caused Bluestein to shoot her wife.

She has been charged with murder, weapons possession and tampering with evidence. She was booked into the Burlington County Jail and was set to make her first court appearance Monday afternoon.
