You are being generous with 10.
SE should have 1, SS 1, NE 1, NC 1, NW 1, SW 1. Then with local government chairmen managing districts.
This means we prune down from 37 useless state governors to just 6 governors.
100 senators to maybe 4 per state ~ 30 senators.
300 Members to 150 or even lesser.
Only if we know resources to manage this governors ( Salary, Allowance, aids, girlfriends, wife's, deputy governors, the list goes on and on.)

Not a single Nigerian state comes close to the levels of taxation found throughout the developed world, or even in middle-income countries like China, Thailand. Even Lagos State is an ultra-low tax region by international standards.

It's nonsense to speak of being so heavily dependent on federal allocations as if it were something to be proud of. What happens if the FG suddenly decides to slash them for whatever reason? A far more likely reason why IGR is so low in the SE states is that their levels of internal economy activity simply can't support higher taxes.

Someone should pls tell these pipo that it's the duty of the legislature to make laws. Courts and judges are supposed to interpret these laws and not usurp the authority of the legislative arm of government. Only the president and sultan can actually Wade into this issue, not courts.
The qtn everyone is asking is, what was Emir sanusi doing when the bill to decentralize his emirate was raised till it reached second reading and was passed into law? This issue could have been settled amicably if not for the Emirs Over bloated Ego. He probably has bad advisers as well..

JAMB as a body refused to screen results not until after several years,then if any culprit is found and admission letter withdrawn, what happened to the wealth accumulated through such means? Confiscated or burn to the ground... Its an ineffective way to correct measures, why wait till after exams before checkmating centres, why not develop a program that will make the main server discover multiple whatever and group registration? We are always far back in Nigeria... I pray some day things turn around to best practices.

Citizens outrage spring up Boko Haram, Bandits, Separatist groups.

Abuja govt responds by acquiring sophisticated weapons to kill the citizens, instead of restructuring the political process.
