And Reagan is America best president in the last 50years.
He trippled that national debt, he funded Osama Bin Ladan in Afganastan he took the dollar off the gold standard, Iran Contra was exactly what Buhari wants to do, fund terrorist to release kidnapped victims. Only a zombie would say such nonsense that Regan was the best, APC and Republicans have the same cognitive thinking skills.

Not surprised when ever he interviews he is always off point. Sorry for him demented is not an easy thing to control as the stress of the job continues you will not believe what type of things he will be saying. US did a good job of hiding Regans by not letting him talk in public the last two years, but that is a docile white man. Buhari will talk by force and continue to embarrass us on the world stage. embarassed

That's what you get when a leader only waits for briefings from those that work for them, versus taking time to see things themselves. Of course Buraitai would tell him his team is winning to look good to Buhari.
Jonathan made the same mistake when he went on CNN and told the world that Nigerians were pleased with the state of electricity at that time. He was fed lies by some folks, and he believed them.
I hear you SM.

Bull crap! Over 1300 people have died since he has been in office and this is not counting the murders and rape by Fulani Heardman Terriost. Is he that far gone in his dementi that he does not know almost everyday new bodies are being buried. What sort of propaganda is this?
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Senate Moves To Disqualify Amaechi by biafranqueen:
Rotten Amaechi is the biggest 419er in the History of Nigeria.
He rides along the corruption crusader President Buhari and it is a mockery to the Nigerian people.
This man received 86 million dollars a month but he could not complete any project in his tenure due to corruption, lack of planning and focus.
Imagine the trillions wasted
Eleme Mega Bus Station Terminal abondoned billions wasted....
Rivers State Monorail 1.5 kn railing incomplete billions down the drain...
ESI Nursey School they were bragging about and Gokana Model Secondary school they were showering us with pictures on N/L is abondoned no single child has step foot in those model schools today!
Neweol /Boue road in Gokana billions wasted in fake contract
Elme Junction Port a main road and
Trans Amadi Industrial layout where the IGR is generated is undrivable!

The corruption is too obvious, all the money he spent to secure a position with APC is a wash. If they don't prosecute this man Buhahri anti corruption is a pure farce and slap in the face to the youth that supported his Presidency!
People will come hear and cheerlead this scavenger of Rivers people but say GEJ and his whole administration is corrupt.
Disgusting hypocrisy!

Selfless and a visionary but he was just too careless - hence he died with his dreams. The dreams and hopes of millions also died with him.

That's basically the problem of a lot the great black leaders - they all failed to protect themselves adequately despite knowing that they were fighting against powerful forces. And they trusted folks too easily. Sad.
How I wish Buhari was this man. Where are these types of men in our generation? Like you pointed out he was too trusting, too bad the 48 laws of power was not out in the 80s. Where are those leaders like Africa had in the 80s?

PoliticsRe: Who Signs Fashola's Cheques? by biafranqueen: 6:02am On Oct 15, 2015
scribble:
Short answer: Jagaban.

Long answer: The zombies in Lagos whose over sophistication and reliance of the media allow them to be sold anything packaged fancifully by same media. Fashola is a charade. I'm not saying he doesn't have his strengths but he is as corrupt as any corrupt public servant that would face hanging in say a China if he fell out with the powers that be.

We Lagosians are the ones that empower this APC machinery.

Everyone is blaming Ambode for the current crises in Lagos but Fashola was there for 8 years. You see what did he do? Nothing but planting flowers and smoking cigar, blowing the smoke in the faces of the gullible Lagos hustlers that are willing to forgive government when they receive #80 million contracts to design website or when a new garden is planted.

The robbery in Apongbon was always there. Oshodi too. It got better but it has not been sanitized and brought under clinical scientific transformation like how Goodwill did roads in Uyo. I'm tired of the hype on Fashola. I'm a Yoruba man by accident of birth or whatever higher purpose God may have deemed and Fashola is one of the biggest lies Nigerians telling themselves.

The man has swag sha. Maybe that's why y'all like him. Monkeys go for swagger.
I wonder how Ambode is the problem when Buhari is not the problem, yet they have been in office the same amount of time? Did Ambode sell the Governors lodge or numerous properties to Tinubu and others?

Reading through the thread make me laugh. grin

The former governor performed so well as governor.

Everybody knows that the pushing away pdp from the center was not a day job. It also consumed a lot of resources.

Couple of years ago ACN was only controlling lagos state, then latter ekiti and osun states. A lot of resources was expended to achieve that.

From there they got more states and later merge with other like minded across the country.
What did he do with education, healthcare, and everyother major area where did he perform well with the trillions from allotment and IGR?

Nice man indeed! A man that loves money more than life and progress. Nigerians should be wary of this man; he's a looter,money-grabbing fellow and highly illiterates. Ask him about his occupation before he ventured into politics, how it fared?
He deliberately insighted violence and hatred among his people credit to his love for money. He betrayed his hometown, state and party for some million of Naira. He is a cultist, rejected by state and people. He wanted to gain power with fraud to rule his own people which is an epitome of the party he represents...If someone for any reason had to betray his people what happens when he steps outside his home.......betrayer!!!
I was like which Ngige are they talking about that is loved by all? The one that after rigging first election with Übe getting busted, thrown out he went and loot Governors lodge and burned it down with other property? The guy that built a 4 block road in his town and a few toilets and called it infrastructure? A man whom as a Senator hasn't done jack? Nigerians know how to celebrate nonsense. LAGOS—THE pain inflicted on Lagosians by the torrential downpour last Sunday bit harder, yesterday, when 25 corpses were recovered including those of 11 children.

The corpses were recovered from two canals at Dopemu and Aboru, in old Alimosho Local Government Area and Agbado-Oke Odo Local Council Development Area, LCDA, among other areas , even as property worth several billions of Naira were destroyed.
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/07/lagos-flood-kills-25/

Fashola, who inspected areas affected by the flood on Monday, empathized with victims who lost their relatives and properties to the flood.
He, however, warned that the state government will immediately commence the enforcement of a new regime of laws affecting the environment, stressing that such matters would no longer be compromised.
Report said they were being carried away by the torrents around sewage area, when some concerned residents who were also returning late, rescued them. The baby simply identified as Tochukwu was thereafter rushed to an unidentified hospital as he had gulped some of the dirty water .

This is just as the residents have called on the urgent need for the state government and management of the Power Holding of Nigeria Plc Company to find a lasting solution to the high tension wire around mechanic junction. The call came following report of electrocution anytime it rained.

Just yesterday, unsuspecting workers and traders who covered themselves with umbrellas while it was raining, almost got electrocuted on arriving the junction

if these boys are teenagers then I am a baby

now back to the topic

some of you should just ask, who is telling the truth?

take a look at the key points

The police said the boys ─ Daniel and Channing Odugbo ─ had slept with a 13-year-old member of their church and got her pregnant, adding that their escape was planned to avoid the victim’s family.

Their parents had alleged that while looking for them, policemen from the Igbogbo division collected N4,500.

“The man claimed that he came here to report and he was not allowed to see me. He claimed that somebody collected money from him, which was false because my doors are always open.”

When our correspondent visited the Odigbos, Regina denied the police allegations, adding that it was a relative that was involved in the pregnancy mess and had been sent back to the village.

She added that the family had decided to take the children to the police station.

Residents also confirmed that there was indeed a pregnancy issue, adding that the teenagers were not involved.

A resident said, “Yes, there was a nephew of theirs from Port Harcourt, who was living with them. The man was the one who impregnated the girl from their church.

somehow I feel the police lied about not taking N4500 from the parents and are just trying to get back at the parents for accusing them....
we know our police men too well

think before you comment

they might be nairalanders reading this now.

your comments might be the last straw that breaks the camel's back

That is a rural village area the OP has showed you.
What I am going to show you is the city where trillions of dollars was spent by a person APC wants to become a Minister.

This picture shows how mere rainfall in that city on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, did not just cause havoc to residents but also resulted in sorrow for a family residing in the Orilowo Ejigbo area of Ejibo Local Council Development Area, as the flood it brought with swept away a 12-year-old girl identified as Kehinde Popoola.

Can you guess which state this is?
Let me give you a hint this state receives the most money in oil revenue and the Royal family threaten to drown tax payers, bringing about a curse to the land.
