I don't know what is happening. Shootings here and there. These guys are forcing 4 days lock down on us.

The other day they attacked popular bar in onitsha, many were wounded. Military post at Federal housing estate Onitsha we're attacked but they were repelled.

Many are being robbed, kidnapped to pay ransom. Once you drive flashy car these boys will run you down. Even our roads are no longer safe. Kidnappers, ritualists and armed robbers every where in Anambra state.

Big boys are on low key now due to fear of being robbed.
This is not the way forward. I hate violence.
Today people are in door due to fear of been attacked. If this continues, many young vibrant business men may leave South-East in Mass.

Is this the Biafra they want?
Simon ekpa should call his boys to order, because people are running out of patience.
Soludo should man up and rescue us.

Are there two Onitshas?
Go and tell your pay masters that they wasted money on you, biko.

Which of the Onitsha? I go to church for rehearsals and classes every Monday. I went out today to do pos transaction and buy a few stuff, so, what are you really talking about?

NYSC / Re: Deborah's Murder Reminds Me Of My Service Year In Yobe by BianoJay(m): 6:14pm On May 13, 2022
merit455:
Deborah's murder reminds me of my service year in Yobe state as a youth corper.

I can't forget that experience in a hurry and I keep asking myself why these Muslims can so misinterprete issues to suit what they are planning to do.

We had a certain female Corp member from Delta state, she likes painting her lips like and putting on trousers. Unknown to her she became the subject of a serious hatred and an apparent plan to kill her was in the pipe line.

You know these people have a way of coordinating their murderous acts, it's a chain that includes the high and low in their society.

So corper Blessing was teaching one day in class and a particular student was busy distracting others, she tried to caution the boy and get him to concentrate but boy keep disturbing the rest of the class, Unknown to her, that was the trap. The said boy was writing in his note book and kept tiring them out, so when she went to the boy's desk, she picked up the pieces of paper and threw them away. The boy stood up and left the classroom.

Boom! Not upto 30mins, another teacher came to Blessing and asked her why she would desecrate the coran, she was so surprised to hear that and decided to ask the teacher where she got that kind of news. To cut the story short, the teacher asked Blessing to leave the school premises immediately else she would be kill.

Blessing quickly left the school to her lodge where she told other corp members what had transpired in school. As she was still speaking, a large crowd of Muslims youth were charging and chanting towards the corpers lodge with sticks and knives, they corpers quickly ran towards the gate to lock it , at that point it became a back and push in the gate as the knew that if the youth gained entrance into the place, they maybe more casualties. This happened in Potiskum.

At that point, calls where coming into to the zonal office for help, I was one of the corper rep in the zone assisting the ZI and LI, the ZI, a Yoruba man quickly called the police, there was no action, he called the army, nothing happened, we started praying for God to intervene, we were asked to go see the Emir, we did, but you could sense the whole town was waiting to hear that Blessing had been killed before action would be taken.

What shocked me most was that our LI, a Muslim was so furious, saying she deserves to die for desecrating the Quran, but thankfully our ZI called a Army topnotch in the south east who had to call the yobe command. ( I don't know the process but it was so fast), military personnels came in two vans to take us to the location of the corpers, you won't believe the crowd, youth wielding sticks, knives and a tray but when they saw the military they started running, all the corpers members were evacuated, the two vans couldn't take everyone, so most of the soldiers has to walk beside the vans for us to get out of that place to the zonal office.

We started wandering how writing quranic citations in a piece of paper or a notebook made the paper or notebook a quran.

As the madness was going on in the town, I was given one of the worst task of my life as the ZI mandated me to snick Blessing out of the town.

While concern people where coming to find out what happened, I took Blessing through the backyard, and then out of the gate, picked okada towards Damaturu with Blessing looking completely different (her lips cleaned and dressed like a northern girl with her head covered) and crying profusely. We succeeded in sending her to Damaturu and that was her last day in Potiskum as she completed the remaining part of her service year at the state headquarters.

This religious misinterpretation must stop forthwith. Deborah death is one of too many cases of religious extremists and fanatics taking the lives of innocent people.

POTISKUM....hmmm that town is a very calm but extremely volatile place.

Imagine almajiris stoning my mum because she was walking with a man, and the said man happens to be my dad....

Religion / Re: I Think I'm Being Manipulated Spiritually/diabolically! by BianoJay(m): 5:17pm On Apr 07, 2022
Barbiturate:
This is going to be lonnngggg! grin

I never wanted to put this up. Infact I decided to just live with it till God knows when!

I guess I just summoned courage to damn all consequences and spill it.....after all, it's a faceless forum!

With this story below, I have no doubt that someone is doing something to me diabolically, to stop me from progressing or moving from point A to B.

Since I lost my job some years back, finding another one has been very difficult. I usually get opportunities, but I don't understand how it slips away. I also have this near success syndrome.

(1) I did test with International breweries(AbInBev). I performed well at the interview. I was called for medicals, but then the initial location of position advertised was in Lagos. The HR said I would be transferred to Ogun without accommodation. I told him I live with an aged mom and I'm the only one taking care of her and that if it'll be possible to be in Lagos, I would appreciate. If not, then I would still go to Ogun State. He said he would get in touch with me soon.
I never heard from him again. I called but he never picked. I went to their office but I was sent out.
I regretted my actions though. I would have just accepted. It was later it dawned on me that I messed up.....as if I was being controlled before.

(2) I was called from abroad(UK) by a company who got my contact from my LinkedIn profile. After the video interview with about 2 whites and a Nigerian (based there)
They were impressed and agreed to employ me as their country manager in Nigeria. They sent me to an HR office for documentation and finger print and all. They also sent messages to my former employer, of which I had been there to see the HR. He assured me nothing bad would happen.
We had agreed on salary, working hours and days and even the office which is at Lekki.
Days passed, I never heard anything from them. From days to weeks to months. That was how I lost this one.

(3) The MD(Indian) of Henkel(makers of WAW detergent) is one of my connections on LinkedIn. I usually send him Goodwill messages and other prayers. So one day I told him about giving me an opportunity at Henkel. After some months, he eventually sent me an email(HR) to send my CV. I did and after some days I was called for an interview.
The sales manager(Indian) was really not convinced with my person. He told me to forget about the MD, that he will be my boss. Told him I had no issues with that. I guess he was intimidated by my person. He told me I would be paid 40k and I said it's fine but I would have to get back to him. Then I chatted with the MD that I'm really grateful for the opportunity but the pay is way below what I earned before......with all my qualifications and experiences!
He later said he would speak to the HR and the sales manager on my behalf, but till date I've heard nothing. He has even stopped chatting with me.

(4) I was interviewed by this trans app company (GONA) owned by Chinese. I was actually the highest at the interview, so I was picked. 200k gross salary. I was told to go for a 2 days work test at Ajah. I worked with some of their staff, to test the job. They register Ajah and Lekki buses on their platform. They also talk to passengers, to use their app.
They were impressed by my results for the 2 days. The HR told me to come the next day for my appointment letter and start the same day. I told her I need a day or 2 off, to prepare myself......clothes and other stuffs. She agreed, but when I went there after 2 days, she said the MD hasn't signed and I should go. That she would call me when it's ready. She never called me again.

(5) I have shared this one before. I applied to Eleganza sister company (cosmetics company) as a procurement manager. I passed all the series of interview. Finally I met with chief Razak okoya. He told me that I'm Igbo and I don't have the passport(meaning I don't have any Yoruba link/lineage)
I was never called again.

(6) A friend who is a manager at Coca-Cola, told me that his friend who is in the supply chain department of Coca-Cola wants to refer someone to HR cos they need someone to assist them. He sent my CV to him and begged him to help me out, that I really need the job. My friend said he assured him that he would see to it. It's been almost a month now. Nothing yet!

(7) My former colleague and friend, worked with a construction company/developers, as a procurement manager, at Lekki before resigning for a much better one. The former company told him to refer another capable hand to them. He called me to send my CV, of which I did. I was called in for interview by the MD. He was okay with my answers but then he said the project manager has the final say. I noticed another guy that came before me.
I was later called for an interview with the PM and the HR.
This other applicant was treated differently with much prestige. I came before him but he was interviewed before me.
After my interview, they asked if I had any question for them. I said it's not a question but an observation/advice. I told them that I came before the other guy, but he was interviewed before me and that it's suspicious....and shows they had more interest in the guy. They didn't give me any good reason except for apologies and that they didn't know.

How won't you know? I got there around 9am and the interview time was 10am. The guy came around 10:30am. It was immediately after he entered they started preparing for the interview. I later told my friend/colleague and he said I should forget about them.

8. This same friend/colleague ∆ called me recently and told me that his current company where he works as a procurement manager, wants him to get an assistant because the job is too much and tedious for him. He asked if I would be interested I said yes. Then he printed out my CV and minuted on it, with very good statement about my person and experience and then the salary. It's a massive project by the US and lasg.
He later forwarded my CV to the HR as instructed by his white boss.
The HR collected but didn't act on it and said he would wait till the white boss comes back from his sojourn.

My friend later called me and told me to be very prayerful. That he doesn't understand what's happening. He said the boss actually instructed the HR before tranvelling....that he should accept the CV and call me.

When the white boss came back, the HR gave the CV to him. He went through it and dropped it on his table. He told my friend he would see to it later.

My friend said he has never said anything again since then. He said I should really check myself and be very prayerful. That something isn't right somewhere!

Now, tell me if this is not spiritual!

Don't bother to send me church or spiritual addresses. I won't go. I'm a staunch Catholic. I'll continue to pray my rosary and receive holy communion. If God says this is how it will be forever, so be it.

Meanwhile, I drive on bolt. So I'm not begging!

Thank you for reading.

NB: Before the last job I lost, I had worked with 3 different companies in the procurement department.

My brother, sorry for all you have had to go through. But you shouldn't refuse to seek help because you're a Catholic. There's actually no church in heaven and after death God wouldn't ask you the name of the church you attended on earth, you would only be judged by the kind of life you lived and if you fulfilled God's purpose for bringing you to this world.

Seek help in genuine places. Anointing breaks the yoke. I would advice you attend Dunamis international gospel center or, at least, follow their Tuesday healing and deliverance service on Facebook, every Tuesday by 9:30am.

God bless you, sir.

Well, I suppose you're a Christian too. You should be conversant with Jesus' words when he told the crowd that came to stone the adulterous woman that "he that is without sin should cast the first stone." I'm no angel, I admit my faults. However, those lustful feelings I talked about are much more common than you think. You cannot prevent a bird from perching, but you can prevent it from building a nest on your head. Even you are not exempted if you are honest enough to admit it, except you're a eunuch.

Also, I have received forgiveness and there is now no condemnation for me in Christ Jesus. Therefore, I refuse to allow your "stone" to hit me. And I hope you have removed the log in your own eyes before coming to remove the speck in mine.

All the same, I kept his contact because we still work for the same organisation, and communication lines should be kept open.

Shalom

God bless you richly, my sister and give you the grace to continue in your walk with Christ.

As long as God has forgiven you, the opinion of any mortal is, at best, useless.

God bless you.

grin grin This was exactly the same thing going through my head, the type of people calling themselves Born again these days is shocking.
This is what Christianity has become, it has been very diluted.
Someone that should bury her head in shame and cry out for forgiveness, someone still keeping in contact with the same person she committed emotional adultery with is still proud to seat on the throne of advise.

I bet she is a "women leader" in church teaching young women.
Such a terrible and sad thing to read, that a wife and a mother can become so loose as to make themselves vulnerable to this point highlights how weak this person is spiritually.

As a born again person, your spiritual antenna ought to be able to spot these kind of things from a yard away.

Reminds me of a particular white girl in my church, I knew she loved me and I always avoided her, we were put in a group together and she eventually got my phone number, that was when the stalking began. But having a pre-knowledge of her intentions I already knew how to handle it.

By the way I am single, so I wonder when married people who claim to be christians and have loving families behave like goats on heat without self control.

It is a shame... spits

Uncle, with the way you and the person you quoted sound, it's obvious that you're just a religious zealot and not a Holy-Ghost filled born again Christian.

Who made you a judge? You think sin is only fornication and adultery? Can't you perceive the pride and unruliness in your utterances ( and the person you quoted, too), even Jesus who died for all our sins, wouldn't talk to that lady the way you both did. At least she realised she was going astray and found her way back, but religious bigots like you will stroll straight to hell because, you can't even smell the evil and wickedness of your ways.

Jesus wept!

So, why sanctioning only Russia, and portray Ukraine as Saint? If you claim Ukrainians are defending her mother's land, so do you expect Russians to be looking like mumu? They should sanctions both countries.

Let's say No to war.

How can Ukraine be sanctioned when they're only fighting in self-defence?

Crime / Re: MONEY Ritual On Youtube And Social Media Influence On Youth(disturbing pics) by BianoJay(m): 1:32pm On Feb 02, 2022
CANDYDADDY:
Good evening and a happy new year to you all
i haven't posted anything in a while, but i couldn't just let this slide

i saw a couple of videos of the teenagers who murdered a 20 years old for money rituals

one of these videos stated that the boys had researched and found videos on Facebook on how to use human head for money rituals

so i went to Facebook and also YouTube and these are the screenshots of the called 'OSOLE' in Yoruba as can be seen in the pictures below

From what i gather, OSOLE, is a kind of money rituals that is said to give cool and fast money and it is all there for the public to see on the platform

i have not watched all the videos, but i am appalled that such contents are freely aired and shared

The Nigerian agency responsible for this should crack down such content on all social media platforms

while at it, they should also crack down on pastors doing miracles(because the narrative and defence of the BABALAWOS would now be that if pastors can showcase their miracles, so can BABALAWOS)

We appreciate freedom of speech, and our basic and collective human rights, but we also should know where to draw the line

This is only the beginning and the earlier steps are taken to curb this growing menace, this dastardly acts, the better for us as a nation, and a people

Please who are responsible for the content and violations on social media?
This is the time to act

CANDYDADDY

Your post is a good one, but I strongly disagree with you dragging pastors into this; I really don't see the relationship between pastors who perform miracles and publicise same and ritualists who openly advertise ways of making money through rituals. Except, of course, those pastors are publicising miracles and ways to get them which could lead people to hurt other people or even kill or maim them.

If not for corruption we would have cities like these everywhere!

Do you have an idea of how much of public funds Nigerian politicians have stolen over the years? These are monies meant for infrastructure, health and electricity; monies that should have been used to better the lot of millions.

All of you asking what the compensation is for, do not yet fully grasp the situation.

Now ask yourselves: why should indigenous people be asking for land as compensation? Why should they be compensated?

The truth is, those people called bandits are Fulani militia brought into the country before the 2015 elections, to cause bloodshed in the event that Goodluck Jonathan refuses to accept defeat, but Goodluck hit them below the belt and conceded. Then they abandoned these so-called bandits, and with the weapons they were given, resorted to kidnapping. This is why they keep complaining of being abandoned by the government, and this is because all Buhari's effort to establish Ruga or cattle colonies in order to resettle them was rejected by most states, especially in the South.

So, Gumi knows exactly what he's saying; they need to be compensated and given lands because, they're aliens and not Nigerians.

And this is also why the Buhari-led federal government can never declare them terrorists.
