I packed my car close to my gate, my matrimonial home had turned into something else, muy marriage was virtually the best until a month ago when I got the disheartening news about my fertility status. I was in the living room seeing a popular TV series when Bowofoluwa, my sister came in. I am Eniola Onabanjo, a fair-skinned slim twenty-three year old married woman. I married my husband a year and two months ago when I was twenty-one, we met while I was defending my final project a year before, I was twenty. He was 6.5feet, had an athletic body and the first thing I fell for was his biceps and trained body. He came to see a friend of his who was my project supervisor and he quickly collected my number, I Waited all day for his call but it did not came until two weeks after. He was a practising geneacologist and his private hospital was located on the island. We clicked immediately and kicked off our relationship. Our marriage was one of the best Lagos state witnessed, many dignitaries graced our wedding within and out of the country. Mike Onabanjo was a perfect young man, he spoilt me with gift and love. I was serving in my Father's company when we married, I barely go to work after marriage simply because of my husband. My matrimony was perfect within the first year into my marriage, my husband was the one who made breakfast because I hardly got out of bed earlier than nine o'clock, he made dinners during the week because I would be tired by the time he came around, he took me in dates every Sundays,holidays and festivals. He brought me a SUV 2016model for our first wedding anniversary, that was how rich and caring my husband was. Yea, Doctors are busy but my husband gave me a hundred percent attentions and employed some doctors to run his hospitals and annexes. A year into my marriage, the worst happened...!!!

CHAPTER FOUR

THE GREEN

First semester was fast approaching, students were getting prepared for the examination, Gori was engrossed with his new job! He was living large. He would go to school every Mondays to thursdays, Fridays were for his internet job, he would work till Sundays, the third day. He was making some cool cash, he was wearing the best clothes, taking care of Tiwatope and he could boast of over five million in his account.
He had attended a general class that morning and sat with Tiwatope when Kayode joined them.
"Clumsy girlfriend's boyfriend, here we go" She handed them a bottle of LA casera each.
"How many tines will I warn you against calling me a clumsy boyfriend" Gori warned as she handed him his own bottle.
"Are you not clumsy?" She asked.
"Kay, where is my change?"
"Do you think I will run an errand for free?" She rolled her eyes and crossed her legs.
"So, is seven hundred naira your errand fee?"
"So, is Tiwatope your girlfriend?" She asked sarcastically.
"Are you coming over today?" Gori directed his question to Tiwa.
"Yes, we are" Kayode interrupted.
"Why? Must you always follow her to my house?"
"Must she always leave me behind?" She fired him.
"I know you are crushing on Dan" Gori winked at her, she threw her hands furiously in their, she was actually crushing on Daniel. She also needed a rich boyfriend, she has to tag along in order to be a relevant big girl. Tiwa was rocking the best clothes, the best weaves, the best makeups and she was eating the best food, she needed someone to do same for her. Her target was Daniel, Gori's friend, although he was not as rich as Gori, he was still fair. She knew about Dan's escapades with ladies but she cared less.
"Mind you, I'm not crushing on Dan, it is Dan that is crushing on me instead." She eyed him. Suddenly,Tiwa and Gori bursted into laughter.
"What's funny to you guys?" She was furious, Tiwa and Gori bursted into laughter, Tiwa pointed adjacent her direction, Kay looked back and saw Dan, she was shocked.
"Who is crushing on you?" Dan gave her an askance look, she felt so embarrassed that she wished the ground could swallow her.

"Mr. Gori,long time." Gori greeted as he entered into the VC's office startling both the VC and the young lady sitting on the VC's leg half naked.
"How did you get in? I told the secretary not to let anyone in." The VC tried to sound authoritatively.
"Do I need to pass through anyone" he asked as he sat on a chair opposite the VC and the embarrassed young Lady. The lady tried to adjust her sagging bare breast the VC was busy with before he banged in, Gori was tempted seeing those pawpaw-like sagging fair breast.
"Come here" the girl was confused, she directed her gaze towards Gori and back to the VC who looked down immediately.
"Oh! Do you think he is going to scold me or something?" Gori asked, the girl became alerted, this was surely one of the school's terrorist, she moved closer to Gori.
"Fine girl, what's your name?" Gori asked.
"Tiffa." The girl was already shaking. Gori loosen his belt as he stood up.
"Clear the table" he told the VC sampling the young girl. The VC cleared his busy table and right infront of him, Gori made love to the young girl.
"I am Geeboy" Gori told the girl as he was adjusting his trousers. The girl was shocked,the most dreaded popular yahoo guy and ken's killer was the one who sexed her infront of the school's VC. Gori took a piece of paper lying on the floor and a blue pen belonging to the VC, he had inscribed his phone number and handed it over to the girl.
"Call me by five PM tomorrow." He said.
"I am her to see you earlier but I think it's no more necessary. See ya." He winked at the VC who calmly sat on a stool.

Gori and Dan were busy with their laptops that hot Friday afternoon when they heard car horns outside, some minutes later, there were knocks at the door.
"Who is that?" Gori asked, some guys numbering nine walked into the living room, one of the guy was Solo, Gori's boss.
"Nice apartment." Solo commented, he had been in the business for two years and could not boast of Gori's furnished house.
"What do you want, Solo?" Dan asked
"See as did dog dey yarn, abi make I forget blow for una face." A haggard looking guy said.
"Are you in my house yo make noise" Gori asked.
"Gori, do you think you can cheat me?"
"I'm Geeboy please" Gori corrected.
"Whatever," a sissy chewing gum said.
"I'm still your boss in this game, I thought you how to press fingers so now that money is entering, you wanna forget me abi?"
"You actually taught me how to press fingers not how to make money? You were making five zeros when I was making four, did I complained for once? Now that I am making six figures, you are beefing, please what do you want from me?
"Our actual agreement was sixty-forty, you've been making waves now and you wan forget my percentage"
"Solo, u b mofo o. I hit fifty thousand then, you carry thirty, I carry twenty, na for inside that twenty I buy drinks for una dogs..." Gori waved his hands towards Solo's aides
"Who be dog?" One of the guys advanced towards Gori, as he raised his palm in an attempt to slap Gori, he fell on the floor and started convulsing. Solo and his crew were shocked, they knew immediately that Gori was not an ordinary man, before Solomon could say jack, the other guys haft fled, he had no option than to run for his life. He knew he was dealing with no other person than Ken's rumored killer.

The car and other things are given to me by the VC. You know we share the same name." He lied, tiwatope bought the story, she was blinded by true love.

Ayokunmi led them into the scanty living room, she ushered them to sit as she sit on a wooden stool.
"Gori, can you tell your babe to excuse us?" She asked, Tiwa stood up and left the room even before Gori could talk.
"You were not supposed to kill my joy the second time" she said with a teary eyes.
"A.y, I ...I don't mean to, I'm sorry." He begged.
"I missed him" she broke into tears, Gori had no feelings for those tears, all he wantis to get her to meet with her mother- in-law.
"I know you are now heartless, the only feelings you could have now is for Tiwa and not even your parents. Ken loved me too, I knew he would die. The power in him is heavy to bear. Gori, why did you choose to thread Kenneth's path."
"A.Y, how come you know much about me?" He was confused. Ayokunmi laughed.
"That's the gift God gave me, I see both the past,present and future." She smiled again.
"How come? Are you a witch or something?"
" I'm neither a witch or ogbanje. It's just my talent."
"How come you were now carrying Ken's child when you knew he would die?"
"Love! I loved him. I knew he was going to die but I never knew how soon it would be. I fell in love with him and he fell with me. Ken wasted his destiny for a woman, the girl was not raped as she claimed but Kenneth never believed me. I told him to stop all the revenge mission but his mind was made up, see where it ended. Take me to his mother." She wipes her face,left the room and came with two boxes.
"Let's go.?" She announced
"Am I supposed not to see at least a member of your family" Gori asked.
"I don't have a family, I'm an orphan,also a widow." She smirked as she pulled the boxes outside.
"How about this house?" He asked.
"It belongs to Kenneth. He promised to complete the house but he chose not too" she said as she locked the door.

Few Weeks later, Gori made a fortune from his new 'business' and the first person he went to visit was Solo, his friend and boss.
"OmoG, how now?" Solo greeted.
"Solo, I dey o. How na?" Gori greeted and sat down.
"Solo, I don hammer!" Gori said suddenly as he popped a bottle of baron.
"How much u hammer, my boy? Wetin be my share?" Solo hailed.
"Approximately three Milla,." Gori said making an illustration of three with his fingers.
"Excuse me!"
"I mean three million naira" the guys around hailed Gori, Omo stood rooted to the spot, he was confused.
"How come? How can you make three million naira, Gori.?" Solo asked.
"I used my head." Gori replied touching his head.
"Do you know what my percentage it... 60/30"
"I don't understand you? You mean you are taking sixty percent of my money?" Gori asked
"Yes, I'm your boss. You're still under me."
"Solo, abegee, forget say u b ma boss. You wey don dey use juju sef never jam 3 ehm for your life. Boss, I no fit give you hundred Kay. You refused to show me the way and when someone else did, you want to reap where u no sow." He said, drop a wad of five hundred naira notes on the table and left.
Guys who were present were astonished, Solo was known to be a cheat but no one dared look at him in the eyes.

Daniel visited Gori that evening, he was marvelled seeing Gori's house.

Gori brought out his laptop and began surfing the net, when Dan saw what he was doing, he laughed.
"Do you think you can make it without some juju? See, I've been in this work before I gained admission o, if not for some of my friend who took me out recently, omo, na ten thousand najira level I for still dey o."
"It's a lie joo, I've a friend who is now successful and he does it purely." Gori boasted.
"I'm telling you everyone is trying some things spiritually, do you know Solo? The school biggest yahoo guy?you won't believe he sleeps with a snake anytime he wants to work." Dan said, Gori was shocked
"Dan, wait! Which Solo?"
"Same solo now, the three hundred level Solo in banking and finance."
"Solo! Na im teach me now. He con tell me say im patrol pure, in no dey use juju." He said angrily.
"Which Solo?Solo wey don use all the girls for this school finish. Im yahoo no pure o."
"I, Goriola is going to outshine Solomon. He wanted to outsmart me right? He said and walked away.

Gori and Tiwatope stood in front of a small unpainted house, a girl who was heavily pregnant came out. The lady was Ayokunmi, late Ken's girlfriend, she wasa tall pretty young lady in her early twenties.
" Good morning"the girl greeted.
"Morning dear.I want to see Ayokunmi,please" Gori asked.
"I am Ayokunmi." Gori stared at her,he thought of how's pretty young lady could be impregnated by Kenneth who was an old man.

"I know!" She cut in.
"You are Goriola Fatoyinbo from Kenneth school and this is Tiwatope, your girlfriend." The lady announced. Goriola and Tiwatope exchanged surprised glances.

He was the tallest in the department if not in the whole school, he could smoke and drink anything. He was always high anytime he came to school and it was rumored he was a yahoo boy. He exchanged greetings with Gori.
"How far?where your hostel dey sef... I bin one crash for una side this weekend."Daniel asked.
" na offk I dey o." Gori replied.
"Tear me una address you..." Gori gave Daniel his address and that was how their friendship started.

Gori visited Bills D don's house that evening, he had been avoiding him since ken's incidence, Gori had gone through the black diary and knew Bills was John Anifowose's son, he was fooled, they used him and he was ready to seek revenge on them all. His spiritual instinct told him Bills was home when the guy he met outside said he was not, he mumbked some incantations and the guy allowed him to pass through the gate, he went straight into Bills d don's room.

"Bills" he called out , immediately, Bills disengaged from the girl he was making love to.
"What are you doing here? How... How did you pass through the gate?" Bills was shocked, his father had warned him about Gori.
"Bills, why were you avoiding me?" Gori asked eyeing the girl Bills was having sex with earlier, he was no virgin but it had been long he had sex and he knew it would he nice having sex with the prostitute for free.
"Do you have a condom.?" He asked looking so impatient.
"Yes." Bills d don answered. Gori sighted a condom by the bedside, pulled off his clothes and before Bills could say no, he was already working on the prostitute.
The guards in the room were shocked at Bills D Don's calmness and made for Gori. As each was about hitting Gori with a gun, they noticed they hit bills d Don who fainted immediately. Gori laughed at the guys and continued with the lady till he cummed. He then stood up and left.

Goriola moved into his new apartment, it was a four bedroom apartment situated close to the school small gate, it had a large compound,the living room was well furnished so was the master bedroom. Gori was marvelled when he packed in. He arranged his little properties. He thought of what to do with his life, he could not kept relying on the useless VC. He remembered Solo, Solomon was Mrs. James first born, Mrs James was Gori mother's friend. Solomon was twenty-two year old three hundred level student in Gori's school and he had built a house for his parents, bought a car for his father and had a boutique downtown, it was rumored that he was a "yahoo" boy.

"Laptop? Where you see am?" Solo asked, a guy came in and greeted them, Solomon hailed him and introduced him to Gori as Psalm
"You mean you are the hundred level Gori?" Psalm asked.
"Oh yes... How do you know me? Moreover, I may not be the only Gori in hundred level." Psalm stepped backward and exchanged glances with Solo.
"Do you know him?" Solo asked Psalm.
"This is the school most wanted."
"How do you mean?" Solo asked.
"He killed Ken." Psalm said scarily. Gori sat down smiling, Solomon stood up.
"It's not possible... I know Gori very well, we grew up together. He is always a clumsy gentle guy, he cannot kill a hen" Solo said.
"Anyways, I did not kill Ken, I was his roommate till his death."

The police officers look towards the direction VC pointed too and found nothing.

"No one is here,sir." One of the police officers said confusingly.
"Here is the young man" The VC repeated but still the officers could not see anyone. Gori smirked, he enjoyed the game.

"Can you see that black-leathered chair" VC asked pointing to the chair Gori occupied, the officers nodded in affirmation.
"Do you see someone sitting on it?"
"No, this is an empty chair."
"It is not empty" the two men argued. Gori was sitting comfortably making fun of the two old men. One of the officers sat on the chair Gori was seated, the men saw two men in one, the officers saw a police officer sitting on an empty seat. The policemen left awhile later, urged the men to see a doctor.
"You think I'm a fool, Mr. VC?" He clapped and stood up, the men were visibly shaken.
"We're sorry" they apologized.
"You have less than twenty-four hours to meet up" he said as he made for the door, he opened the door and turned back to the two men.
"I'm here to haunt and being you down, I'm going to finish you and you career." He said and walked away.
The two men sat in different positions, each lost in his own thought, they thought of their life, their children and everything they had done.
"You brought me into this." John said
"We were both ambitious." VC responded
"You initiated me, I'm tired of everything. We have wasted amenough innocent souls."
"Meeting is next weekend, we will table it in front of everyone."

TIWATOPE'S LODGE

She heard a knock on the door, it should be Kay or soshe thought
"Come in" Gori walked in, she stood up from the bed and was alert. Gori was a killer, no he was not, she trusted him, he told her he was not the killer.
"Princess" Gori called out still standing by the door.
"How did you get here?" She knew she had never tell him her lodge number.
"I asked a couple of students outside" he lied. His spiritual instinct brought him there. Just a thought of where he wanted to be and he was there. He moved closer to Tiwa who was still rooted to a spot.
"I've missed you, Tiwa."
"There's a rumor flying around the school, Gori. Did you kill him?I heard his body disappeared from the morgue."
"Tiwa, I'm here for you. Don't believe those scraps."
"The police are looking for you Gori." She announced.
"Princess, I'm aware of that. They are through with the investigation and they knew I was innocent"
"Gori, Ken was stabbed."
"I know, guess what?"
"What? I'm not good at guessing."
"The VC took special interest in me, he apologised for the wrong accusations and he is getting an apartment for me offk." He lied.
