Any time I drink nestle's pure life I can discern that the water has a taste. I have proof of this simply because, even blind-folded I can pick out the taste of said water in a line-up.I am not saying it is a bad taste, but knowing as how water is supposed to be tasteless, any taste then is a bad one. Has anyone else experienced this? |
Our senators and their double standard "Global best practices". When it is thoughtless intimidation of the masses, our senators are world standard, no country can do it better(or is it worse). Is it also global best practice to allocate the title of world's most expensive senate through stealing and sharp practices to themselves? |

Fantastic write-up OP. Number 3 however is a bit off. Green house gasses are called that because of the green house effect, a phenomenon known to occur in green houses.Green houses are built to shelter vegetables in growing season. They are designed in such a way as to let light in for photosynthesis of the vegetables, the problem with green houses is that, when sunlight enters, it brings heat energy which reflects off the floor. In reflecting, the sunlight loses energy and cannot re-penertrate the transparent roof of the green house, becoming trapped along with the heat energy. This raises the temperatures within the green house to fatal levels for the vegetables, killing them. This is the same principle global warming works on. |

Now it just feels like a game. Every time BH strike, somebody with authority comes out and tells us the next reason why this will never happen again. And, u guessed it, the next morning gboa again. I honestly believe all of this is a ploy to make it obvious to anybody watching how helpless FG and the Nigerian army is in the face of BH. That is why it is necessary for a higher placed personnel to come out and tell Nigerians a new excuse after each bombing. Making the Nigeria army seem much much weaker after every successive bombing, exposing a need to call for assistance if BH is to be successfully engaged. The worst part is, even then we'd hear the same excuses, only difference is we would successfully have handed our army, the foremost defenders of our sovereignity over to imperialists who seek to grab our lands from under our nostrils, while we the owners of the land squabble over smokey mirrors and alcohol induced foolishness, just like the first time we got took in the name of colonalization. So, my people, continue this petty internal squabbling while external aggressors carry away your birthright in modern day slaves hips. Let us heed the parable of the two stupid men who fought each other because the other wanted to take the larger share of an imaginary cake! |
fx45: Some of U are very senseless! Exactly how is the statement wrong? Over 3 months ago and 5 months ago... What is contradictory about the statement and how is it incorrect? I was wondering, wouldnt it be helpful for house members to include dates they applied for a particular process and then the day the application got completed. E.g. I applied to u of m on june 16, i got my admission letter on the 1st of july or/then,i did my medical on so so date, and it got approved at so and so date, i submitted my application to cdhc on July 25th, Thank God i got my trv by July 26 . Please that sort of thing people, so that veteran houseys and noobies can get an idea of waiting and processing times. It can look like the list of medical hopefuls. My last 2 cents, now im broke. Thanks people. |
Im in awe of all the people taking out a good part of their time to help out. I realise we are all learning, but on behalf of the learning learners like me, i say THANK YOU, everybody included. |
seunlovesa: i meant fedex or EMS........ nothing like fedex of ems. na typo error...... just go to NECO office with a copy of ur NECO result or satement of result. fill the required form. u will then be asked whether they shud send the verification by regular mail, ems or fedex. thats allThanks seunlovesa, and congratulations. hope we meet in BU |
seunlovesa: depends on the service u choose.......... better u use FEDEX of EMS. NECO processes it in a matter of days.....say 5 to 7Fedex of EMS? As in better i use Fedex than EMS? Or EMS runs Fedex? Can you please elaborate? And i heard that the transcript has to be sent from the examining body. So how do i get them to send it via courier? |
seunlovesa: @bibiazm: go to Neco office in Lagos and tell them that they should send a verification of ur neco result to brandon univeristy......... also send a neco scratch card to their admisssions office.. That is what brandon wants to see. ur original verification from NECO office. When i applied to brandon, i went to WAEC office and tell them to send my verification..... i also sent my scratch card........guess what? brandon sent my adn=mission letter a week after@seunlovesa thanks, how long did the certificate take to get there?, im trying to see if i can get NECO to EMS it to canada, do you have any idea about that? Thanks |
GboyegaD: I feel you already know what you want in mind as such, you are selective in your reading. I wish you the very best of all your undertakings in life and I pray God grant the desires of your heart and establish your thoughts.Bless you my brother, thanks. |
Oh boy, not good at all, and its been going on for a while, let's thank God the cdhc is not affected(sic), but its unfortunate about the work permits. |
ChriGo: bro dere is no age limit 4 schooling..even my grandpa 1 go do masters 4 canada..lol..jst kiddin....all you nid do is attach a very gud statement of purpose with your visa app xplaining wat u've bin doing over the years...dat gives u d flexibility nd also gives dem reason not to deny you based on NOT A BONIFIDE STUDENT blablabla....here's a link of a gud statement of purpose..i dont knw d course u'r going for buh i guess u cn av a gud idea of how it shuld look like and also relate to it www.nairaland.com/962116/travelling-canada-part-3/338Thanks ChriGo, I'm beginning to see clearer now. |
ChriGo: oh ok...i also read abt d c6 ish...do u mean scan d neco statement of result to d schLol, no o, I meant scan it and then print it out as a hard copy, ok but since u say photocopy should be good, I think I may go that route, Bless you for taking the time out, I will still try and verify from the school tho. |
ChriGo: dont u av a waec cert??..if u got that u can use it..u dnt av 2 send originals 2 d sch cuz once u send,it becomes d sch's property..u can send a notarize copy attached with a scratch card for dem to verify....as for the statement frm ur sch i dnt knw if d sch will accept it but since u'r sending it along with a scratch card...i tink dy shuld accept dat...again dnt send orignal statement cuz u go stil nid am 4 d visa processing...I have a waec certificate, but my results there are c6s', I heard on this forum brandon is strict about accepting not below c5, and my neco is a better result. And also, if I don't send an original, a scanned notarized copy would be the next best thing, right? Thanks much. P.S. Any ideas about the age factor and the diploma issue in my original post? |
ChriGo: is it neco ssce or neco gce??....if neco ssce, den go back to ur secondary school to collect ur neco original certificate...dats wat you need..Thanks for the reply, its NECO SSCE, I have a statement of result from my school, I'm not sure though if I can send it along with a neco scratch card, will that be accepted- in your opinion? my secondary school is a bit far, and time is running down, u get? |
GboyegaD: As I said earlier, pursue the abroad dream however, do not neglect the present one until you have your Visa at hand.Yes o, I am looking at Brandon, already paid the application fee since 30th july, they haven't gotten back to me on that, but maybe its cos of the provincial holiday they had yesterday. I'm pursuing o my brother, full steam. I just hope I make it in time. |
Hello people, I am applying with a transcript to brandonu, I'm in my 3rd year in the current school I'm in in Nigeria, I am 27 years which means I entered my current school in 09 when I was 23, unfortunately I do not know if the embassy will want to grant me a visa because of my age. I finished secondary school in 2003, even with my transcript do you think that would matter? Or would they ask me questions like what I was doing in between those years. Plus, I have a UNILAG diploma in 08 which I did not include because of bad results, should I call the school and ask them to include it, so it can shorten my stay at home time for the school and embassy people( the diploma result was NOTHING to write home about) And also, how do I go about getting a neco transcript and how long it takes.Thank you all, including the silent observers. |
GboyegaD: Ok, I understand however, at the bolded, it is an unfair statment/assessment of your school. Also, whilst I understand the ethnic violence as you called it, is it possible you move into campus at least to reduce your chances of being attacked since you are already in your 3rd year and almost done with your studies? While you seek options of travelling abroad to continue with your studies, please do not neglect the one you have with you now. A bird at hand they say, is worth more than a million in the air.Its my school, if I were being biassed, shouldn't it even be on the side of the school, bros, you know the way pple always rave about the present school they are in or their alma mater abi? Proudly sef. Unfortunately, the assesment I have of my school is fair, based on the pedigree matter. Apart from that my brother, I understand that a bird in hand... But you see also, once beaten... (pardon again, the pun i.e.), I shouldn't unnecessarily risk my life because I want to pursue an education, what u feel?. And, I've already had my transcript processed, so the only way is ahead, by virtue of no choice. Please, let me leave the school's name out of it let me not bite the hand that fed me- even if it fed me literary poison. Thanks for the continuing interest, I appreciate. |
GboyegaD: Why not finish your bachelors and then apply to graduate school? Thanks @ GboyegaD, Unfortunately my school is one of those that have indigene violence palaver where the indigenes like to attack students, I have been attacked once, shame on me if e reach twice. besides the schools' academic, social, prestigious(gbogbo e) pedigree is dogpoop (pardon). I beg, i want to gain better knowledge before it is too late. And then ASUU. Please @GboyegaD and @HouseMembers can you pleeease help me look into my previous post. Please wit beg. |
