Greetings to everyone in d house, it's been a while, was a bit active on dis thread when I was preggy wit my 2nd child, been going thru recent comments here, MY KIND ADVICE TO ALL PEGGY IS DO NOT TAKE ANY MEDICATION WITHOUT UR DOCTOR'S PRESCRIPTION, pregnancy is risky on its own, u don't want to be d reason for complications

I saw some poeple's comment saying d first born bla bla, pls ignore them, every human being deserves respect, even in Parent-child relationship, this boost their self-esteem.

Pls don't give people the opportunity to control ur life, i know it can be so painful when such treatment comes from people dat are supposed to be dearest to us, below are my advice to u:

* Do not let anyone pull u down, say to urself, am wonderfully and fearfully made, profess positive things to urself regardless of what anyone thinks.

* Be determined to make it, go d extra mile

* If ur brother poses a threat to u, u might need to take a decision as per living together (u need to be alive to succeed)

* When they see dat u are not bothered abt their action towards u, i bet it with u, dey will respect u whether they like it or not.

* Lastly, as u make up ur mind to face this challenge, show them LOVE (heap coal on their head, dat's what d bible says).

Dlong and short of it all is dat if u want to be on your own from the onset, u might not mind going to a Polytechnic, but if u will be an employee for a while, pls don't be at a disadvantage, i work with one of d financial institution, most of them don't employ HND holders, they end up doing jobs of OND, d importance of research work cannot be overemphasized, i actually advise d younger ones to strive 4 university education...

It's been a while, been so busy with my 5month baby girl & 2 year old son (He's an handful), my house help left 2weeks before my delivery, it's been so tough but God has been my strength coupled with my bank job, can't wait to get a good one at d beginning of the year.

For d Preggies, ur delivery shall be swift and void of complications & our Babies shall be sources of joy unto us IJN.

I give God the Glory, had a baby girl on Thursday night, we are all doing very fine, will be discharged dis evening,

when one thinks of d labour pain, u 'll never want to go close to a man,

Thank God for life, there is a way one just forgets abt the whole episode of pain after seeing the bundle of joy,

For everyone trusting God 4 dis kind of joy, it is ur time to testify...

@ jumie62, just saw your post on the pelvic examination, it is very compulsory for every first timer,

it is to determine if ur pelvic is large enough for u 2 go thru normal delivery (as explained to me),

It's a simple test, u just stand on a machine and u are given something to put in btw ur legs

@Aigboma, my EDD is July ooooooooooooo, i no want extra days, thank God i feel a bit better now in my 3rd trimester

@ Debby999, just came across dis thread, av u noticed traces of this kind of xter in ur hubby before now or everything is totally new, if it's d later, he might be under some kind of influence, i will advise u take things cool and be very prayerful (nothing is impssible with God) but if he has always treated u with disdain, u need to brace up, thank God u av a source of income, seat him down when he is in his best mood and speak some sense into but quietly and with respect, if he turns d whole thing to fight, keep ur cool and leave him alone, he will later come to u if he's in his right senses, if d whole thing becomes unbearable, please walk away and be alive for ur child, no one can take care of him like u, i tell u no one...

@ Ayorbamy, congratulations, may d Lord bless and keep d baby, i guess dis is ur first child and there is every tendency for u to get worried of every slight change in d baby and if u av people around, a lot of them will give different kinds of advice, i will advise if u av a good matron at d hospital u speak with her, some of these things are normal and there might be no cause for alarm, congrats once more, hope u're assisting madam oooooo, even at night...

@ Ayobarmy, relax all will be well, when i did my 1st scan, it was d exact duration (weeks)with the calculation from my LMP, i think d scan result can be accurate, depending on.......had my 1st child on my EDD

@ Afrobaby, d lost of appetite, throwing up after meal or when brushing in d morning is normal, every preg is unique, never really experience too much of this in my 1st preg, but with dis, my dear it's not been funny, told my Doc, said can't compare pregnancies, they come with their uniqueness, all the same i ll advise u speak with your Gyne...

Thanks dear, i don't think it's what i eat, nothing taste okay in my mouth, just force my self to eat, offcourse i don't lie down to eat, just pray God sees me through...

Am 22weeks but looks like am 7months, dis is my 2nd preg, my son will be 2years in May, I actually thought subsequent preg will be a work over, even in my 2nd trimester which is supposed to be without stress, i feel so tired, pains all over my body (been treated 4 malaria), throws up sometimes, very uncomfortable for like 3hrs after lunch, don't really av appetite so i don't eat like most preg women, my hubby even complains, can't wait to get over this with my baby in my arms, still prays it's a twin even though the scan i did some month back says one, D God i serve can do all things.......

Signed up on dis forum when it was newly launched then but didn't really follow but with dis new thread can't but sign up afresh, it's a very nice one, my hubby actually told me abt it.
