I'm expecting a more brutal response in Oyo state lead by Amotekun and OPC which will include vigilantes and Hunters too.

The police and military should not be involved in this operation.
We are not like those mad people in the East.
Although will chase them out, not brutal response.
Sunday Ighoho chased the Fulani out without splitting blood of the Fulani killers neither using the same arm's on is own people.
The west wouldn't would join your madness in the quest for peace undecided

The U.S. remains committed to help the Armed Forces of Nigeria continue to build their capacity and work for peace and security. Members of our Office of Security and Cooperation hand over a donation of equipment valued at $5M to the Nigerian Army for use at the Nigerian Army Infantry Training School in Jani, Kaduna. The equipment included laptops, classroom supplies, first aid kits, paper targets, and field tents to help improve the training environment. Representatives from the HQ Nigerian Army were on hand to deliver the equipment to Jaji.

The funny thing about this igangan issue is that, if they people decide to pick up arms, then you will see soldiers invading the town searching for arms.

The people of igangan do not deserve this unprovoke havoc unleash on their communities by Fulani heardsmen.

I'm so pissed off. The useless vegetable won't say anything about this now o. When the people starts taking up arms, the idiot will start asking for peace. Fulanis have really pass their boundary, the way they will be paid back will be more brutal than the way they are killed in CAR.
I know in your heart that you want youths to pick up arms like people in the East are currently doing, dude you're totally wrong.
Not every body will be crazy like you guys.
And I hope this would not turn into an Hausa war also, because if it does people from the east wil be the ones to suffer most. Kadunna for I stance has alot of Igbo people and business.
You guys should use your brains and not your mouth to cause war like what your leader kanu is doing, Twitter just deleted some of is tweets yesterday.

TROOPS FOIL ANOTHER ATTACK ON IMO STATE POLICE COMMAND, NEUTRALISE 'DRAGON', 4 OTHER ASSAILANTS

Nigerian Army (NA) troops operating in Owerri the Imo State capital foiled an early morning attack on the Imo State Police Command today 6 June 2021. The troops assisted by the Police Special Forces eliminated a top IPOB/ESN Operational Commander, Joseph Uka Nnachi alias King of Dragons, who has been orchestrating attacks against security agencies and government establishments in the South Eastern States. He has been at the centre of several heinous attacks since the death of Ikonso who gave up the ghost during an encounter with security forces on 24 April 2021 at Awomama Village of Orlu East LGA of Imo State.

Equaly neutralised along with Dragon were four of his cohorts while one was captured alive and has been assisting security forces with useful information. The troops recovered four AK-47 Rifles, a Toyota Hiace Mini bus used as operational vehicle by the assailants as well as several assorted ammunitions and charms.

It would be recalled that IPOB/ESN Terrorists attacked the Imo State Police Command on 5 April 2021 and since then, the security forces had been on the trail of the assailants leading to the successful elimination of the key figures involved.

The NA wishes to place on records it's profound appreciation to the peace-loving citizens of Imo State and the entire citizenry for their support towards combating security challenges in the South East and the rest of the country. The Chief of Army Staff, Maj Gen Faruk Yahaya, particularly noted this as a patriotic gesture and appealed to the public to do more while assuring them of the NA's resolve to end the reign of terror in the country.

What you are saying is nobody should take up arm to defend themselves when been slaughtered right...? Now all can see who the shallow one is...!! Look there is nothing you say that would point back at ESN....!!

Fulani would have been running rampage in the east if not for the ESN..where was your almighty army then when fulani where slaughtering people? Now people take up arms to defend themselves against the marauders then all of sudden the govt now have the interest of the people at heart and not to even defend them but to disarm those protecting them...!!

If you have seen crises in north I also have witness it first hand....the father of my school mate was slaughtered on his bed when they couldn't get to my friend...but comparing the crises/killings up north to what is happening in the east reflect how shallow your thinking is...same as mallami comparing killer cow herder with a peaceful spare part seller...The crises run parallel...one is a fight for freedom while one is ethic/religious crises with the quest to dominate...I don't even expect you to even compare both...!! But alas...when somebody chooses to defend what is not dependable you begin to see and hear all kind of words....!!
Dude open your cocoanut head and listen to the voice of innocent people, most of you here on this thread are living abroad or in peaceful subboard of other peaceful western state where they choose to embrace peace. We chased the Fulani out without causing mayhem and destruction .
Even the youth in the East are tired of the insecurity in your area.
You are using the same arm's you used to chase Fulani's out to kill your own people. His that madness of being foolish.
Or are you been senseless like your leader nmadi kanu whose families are overseas and is causing problem back home using social media platforms!

.See how extremely myopic and bias you are...? insecurity caused by ESN...? Haba....!! Jave you asked yourself what gave birth to ESN in the first place...? You people are something else...treating the symptom and feign ignorance of the disease....!!! Did esn came out of the blues...? The answer is NO...!! And even when ESN came out there operation was entirely in the bush until your fulani master went and pay some police to help them deal with the ESN people...it backfired and the police ran away abandoning some of their vehicles and they now went and call in the army and as usual they came and do their gragra combing the bushes looking for ESN which culminate in the fracas in orlu where we saw the army running away and even leaving behind their dead and one of their comrade who was helped by an aluminium company there...the army came back in their usual unprofessional manner and started shooting women, children and okada riders on the street and burning people shops and finally lay ambush and killed ikonso and that singular act brought us to where we are today....if you are pointing an accusing finger dont even go near ESN cos they got no single blame here if we all want to tell ourselves the truth....!!
Am I biased. !
See how shallow your justification his ?
Yes I'll partially agree with you that ESN was born out of killing of innocent people by the Fulani and I console you for your loss but don't forget you where not the only region that suffered loss, Ogun State and my state: Oyo state suffered losses too" and it was not enough reason for our you to go out there to bear arms killing the Fulani's or turning it to armed group killing innocent people that they where meant to protect.
I still praise what Sunday Ighoho did but yet and don't like what how his mendli g it into politics and separation of the country. He chased the Fulani's out and also the Fulani bandits out of Ighoho town and Oke Ogun area. Ogun State communities is still suffering from Fulani attacks has we speak now, i remember sometimes time that people have to flee there communities to neighbouring country for safety and am sure you read about.
The western region has suffered more losses from Fulani attacks that the eastern part, but bearing arms to fight them will further lead to more blood shed.
You can never have peace by taking up arms, it will never solve the issue on ground.

Bleep the respect.
What do you people don't understand is way beyond your imaginations, you'll rather listen to an hypocrite in Israel.
Am from a Yoruba tribe dude and I grew up in the North, and I met the destruction caused by the Maitatsine crisis, I witnessed the Zangon Kataf crisis. I go on and on like that.
Now the BH, go to these places and see what war has done to this regions it will take to recover what was destroyed.
I will say it has the matter his, if the east turns to a battle ground young soldier would be sent there and some will die but the people that would suffer the most are the indigenes of the region.
Am not here for the likes or support, and I would not take sides. They should embrace peace there is no justification for them embracing arms !

And there it is, pretending to be educated but his hatred is showing. Since you ask, the south is more educated, richer, better infrastructure, better quality of life and on and on. Are we still a third world country? Absolutely, are we better than you in everything, ABSOFREAKINGLUTELY. You are the ones dragging Nigeria back, every indeces has the north far behind the south, as a collective the south is dragging your dead uneducated corpses. Let us go and you will see the development, join Niger if that's what ya'll want. What nonsense. You were forming intellectual and someone who has sense, but your hate don dey show.

The Southeast is destroying the homes they built with money you never gave them, they can rebuild it with money you will not give them so do not worry about it.
You're are the one showing hate in your words?
Why is it that you can't answer simple and direction question ? How is the south efferent from the north in terms of civilization. You could have done better by proofing and developing your point.
But you turned it to hate and tribalistic traits that are embedded in your DNA.

This is a man telling us that he would repeat the genocide of 1967.
If you abokis don't know the meaning of civilization, go and have own country and leave southern Nigeria alone.
Tell me what civilization do you people in the south have ?
What's the deference between you and the Northern part of the country undecided
You guys are killing people from your own region, destroying your very own homes. I don't know if we could call it genocide or what huh
Talking of banning companies, the insecurity caused by ESN/UGN would inturn make companies or multinationals not to invest in your region, I see no difference Man undecided

PRESS RELEASE

NAF GRADUATES ADDITIONAL 1,031 NEW RECRUITS AS CAS CHARGES THEM TO BE INNOVATIVE

The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Oladayo Amao has charged newly graduated recruits of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Basic Military Training Course 41/2020 to be innovative and subordinate their personal interests to the Service and the Nation. He stated this while serving as the reviewing officer at the colourful Passing Out Parade (POP) of 1,031 trainees which took place at the Military Training Centre (MTC), NAF Base, Kaduna. Air Marshal Amao noted that the occasion was another testimony of the commitment of the NAF to operate a professional Service properly structured, appropriately manned and adequately trained to provide security to Nigeria and the Nigerian people. According to the CAS, the graduation of yet another batch of recruits is in consonance with NAF's overall strategy of mitigating the challenges of insecurity in the Country.

He went on to state that the 6 months rigorous training the graduands went through was designed to deliberately expose them to near real-life scenarios which they may encounter in the course of their career. He then urged them to ensure they operate within the ambits of the law and rules of engagement as enumerated in the code of conduct for military personnel engaged in internal security operations as they would be involved in several operations across the country. He reminded them of the need to respect and protect the innocent and law-abiding civilians whom they are paid to defend. “Treat them with respect and protect their rights. It is by so doing that you will be discharging your professional and constitutional duties”, he said. Air Marshal Amao charged them to submit themselves to civil authority in accordance with democratic tenets and should not allow themselves to be used by any subversive element in the society to compromise national security.

While expressing the profound gratitude of the NAF to President Muhammadu Buhari for his continued support to the NAF to meet its operational requirements and logistics needs, the CAS assured Nigerians that the NAF in consonance with other members of the Armed Forces and security agencies would continue to do all it takes to ensure that the security challenges in the country are speedily brought to an end. He disclosed that the NAF was expecting 8 aircraft in July 2021, comprising 6 A-29 Super Tucano aircraft from the United States of America and 2 Wing Loong Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles (UCAV) from China. The remaining 6 A-29 Super Tucano, he said, would arrive in September while 2 CH-3 and 4 CH-4 UCAV would arrive the country before the end of 2021. These additional aircraft, he said, would no doubt boost air power employment capabilities in support of joint operations and would be a game changer in various theatre of operations.

Highlights of the occasion were the silent drill, march-past in quick and slow time and presentation of awards to deserving recruits. The ceremony also witnessed a large turnout of dignitaries including members of the National Assembly, the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, Emir of Zazau, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Nuhu Bamali, Branch Chiefs and Air Officers Commanding amongst others.
