ISWAP TERRORISTS DECIMATED IN DAMBOA, ABANDONED SUICIDE MISSION

Nigerian Army troops operating as part of Operation Hadin Kai in conjunction with Air Component of the Operation have today Wednesday 2 June 2021 inflicted heavy casualty on Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) Terrorists group who launched a futile attack on Damboa LGA of Borno State. The terrorists attacked the town in multiple waves with Armoured Personnel Carriers and 12 Gun Trucks all mounted with Anti Aircraft Guns, as well as Locally Fabricated Armoured-plated Vehicles loaded with explosives and motorcycles.

The gallant troops successfully defeated the attack, destroyed the locally fabricated armoured-plated vehicles and neutralised over 50 ISWAP terrorists forcing the survivors to run in disarray under heavy gun fire from the resilient troops and Nigerian Air Force attack platforms. The so-called suicide bombers had to abandon their vehicles primed with explosives as they could not withstand the overwhelming fire power from the highly motivated troops. Several weapons and ammunitions were recovered from the depleted terrorists.

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Major General Faruk Yahaya congratulated the troops including the Air Component for this great achievement. The COAS restated the commitment of the Nigerian Army under his leadership to ending terrorism and other violent crimes in the North East and the rest of the country. He further enjoined the troops to sustain the ongoing offensive under Operation Tura Takaibango until this noble goal is attained.

Yoruba Youths Have Driven Me, My Wife, Children Out Of Our Home, Burnt Our House, 11 Cars —Oyo Seriki Fulani

Despite assurance by the police and the people of the state, his house was burnt in the presence of security agents.

BY SAHARAREPORTERS, NEW YORKJAN 22, 2021

The settlement of the Seriki Fulani of Oyo State, Alhaji Saliu Abdulkadir, was allegedly set on fire by aggrieved youths on Friday night.

Abdulkadir told SaharaReporters in Ibadan that he, his wives and children were sent out of the settlement, adding that 11 vehicles and houses were burnt in the process.

He told SaharaReporters that despite assurance by the police and the people of the state, his house was burnt in the presence of security agents.

He said, "As we speak, we are in the bush. Our cars, numbering about 11, have been burnt. Some of my children sustained injuries and we are looking for a way to get them to hospital. My children have left their houses for the bush. We need the government to help us. Police, Operation Burst and other security agencies were there when they set my house ablaze."

Why are you telling me you're from Oyo state huh sad

Everybody knows all the stories you're talking about except a person not following the Sunday Igboho and the armed Fulani heardsmen wahala in Osun state.

There were soldiers in that community on the day the youths expelled the Fulanis from the community. Even the seriki Fulani said it himself.
Lies....!
Sunday Ighoho complained about it; that when Fulani bandit kills a Yoruba no police shows up. But if the reverse was the case that was when the media will blow hot and the police will show up.
The CP showed up in Ighoho community when the seriki palace and other properties where burnt and there where chased out after there two weeks ultimatum expired.
Even during the Yoruba Vs Hausa clash in Shasha market in Akinyele local government where a Yoruba was first killed and later lead to scores of Hausa people been killed the soldiers never showed up. The Seriki never said anything dude, youre bad lier undecided

Why didn't soldiers and custom officers unleash their weapons on them at the idi-iroko border? grin

Even Sunday Igboho chase the Fulanis away from an Oyo town with the army just looking grin
Stop saying what you don't know.
Am from Oyo state but I don't reside there but I can tell you what is happening in oke Ogun of Oyo state. Yes Sunday Ighoho chased Fulani out without killing anyone of them or killing there most valuable assets which is there cow.
Yeap I remember that the head of the Fulani in Ighoho was burnt down. But the soldiers where not even there, it took two weeks before the CP Mrs Ngozi Onadeko went there with her men.
Let me tell you the way Yoruba people behave they would go around destroying houses or anything that will lead to going to there business, farms and work.
In a week the Fulani stopped people from going to work they abducted the king's wife and son, killed a farm manager in the town alongside two people and other two seriously injured.
The most painfull part was a business man from American that came home to start serious farming was killed and he was a friend or relation to Sunday Ighoho and countless rape of women coming from farms. In all this he fought those Fulani out without creating choas. Although the guy Don they miss yarn now and am in full support that he has to be checked. The guy Don they commot from Fulani matter to politics, I don't trust people like that.
Let me tell nobody is bigger than the government, stop decieving yourself.

For your own sake see videos of soldiers moving into the East. Enough word is okay for the wise ! Go and ask the North East people if you allow your region to be turned into war zone it's your people that will suffer.

I've been processing how this lightly armed guys are able to burn down supposedly well defended locations. Seeing the low casualties on the defending side, it is reasonable to assume that the buildings are being set on fire from a stand off distance with molotov cocktails and other crude incendiary bombs. It will even be wise to send the would be defenders into panic by setting the buildings they are inside on fire and also distracting them just before the attack.
If these buildings had fire extinguishers, sand buckets and water reels like any reasonable buildings should have, many of them will still be in use today.
Well said mate.

Setting up security post between or Infront of this buildings will surely expose them to destroying it from afar/stand off distance.
It's high time most of these government security parastaltals and agencies praon to attacks employ the military tactics of safe guarding structures/facilities by creating a security perimeter tenths of metres away from the structures itself before pockets of armed men will reach the main objective.
Security check post and temporary barriers would save this facilities and other private multi-billion facilities like oil companies. If this continues alot of people are going to loose there jobs etc.
