Mugiwaraluffy:
Ok thank you.
I was actually referring to something only you can do.
Eg if ure a programmer, data scientist etc. These are jobs you don't need regular 9-5 to earn your money once you have the skill. You tend to choose your time of work as long as you meet deadlines
It will be hard for you to meet deadlines. If it's programming you're talking about. Think of the hours you'll spend writing codes, debugging... You'd literally have just the nights to work. Now what if you're sent to the North East? when will you even have the time to do stuff? Like someone up there suggested, the easiest way you can go is have someone supervise whatever business it is you want to start up... most likely trading on wears or any other commodities

My friend, in military your imagination doesn't count you follow orders, so you will do as your boss instruct.

When they say take prisoners they know what they are doing. In every part of the world, there is room for surrender during war.
In this context, the said child soldiers did not surrender, their magazines are just exhausted. I was responding based on that scenario. Is it not when someone surrenders that you'll take them as prisoners of war?

If you face one of this kids in war and maybe he runs out of ammo. You approach him and he soberly looks you in the eye, would you terminate him?
Shoot to kill.

@Airmanb the question says they're out of magazines, not that they're ready to surrender. These ones are full blown terrorists, they're no longer kids. Kill them all, take no prisoners.

We've less than 9days to go.... If you haven't register till now ensure you do that latest by Friday by all means necessary because the site is having serious hiccups so that you won't get into a situation where at the end it happens to be that you didn't register because of portal issues, nobody will take you serious coming up with such excuse.
Have a blessed Week ahead..
When will you start reminding your customers to start printing their photo-slips. grin

Set awon my phone memory crash, Trojan virus destroyed my hard disk so I couldn't reprint. I searched all over my email I couldn't find where I saved it? grin

SUNDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER, 2020, @8:00am

DSSC- 27736
SSC- 9914

As at this morning 8:00, there is an increment of 191 on the DSSC Applications, while SSC applications has an increment of 58 Applications

9 Days to the Deadline...

Candidates!!!!!! How is your Morale?
There's been a downward trend.
Finally it seems SSC will cross the 10k mark.

DSSC on the other hand is still hovering under 30k. An additional 2264 application in the next 9 days will bring dssc to 30k.

It is now clear that there's close to a 50% decline in applications for both commissions compared to last year's.

Its so funny how all these people get those past questions they compiled grin. I just saw one PDF file named Army DSSC past questions and answer, I managed to open it and to my surprise most of the questions in the current affair part are familiar questions I came across in the exam during SSC 46 screening.

The attachment below is the copy of the PDF for those who wish to peruse it.
Are you saying it wouldn't hurt to practice with them sir?

i had seen this since the first time when I was registering... I filled this before I filled my form doe

What i think it is..
It’s a personal registration for the website... not your application form.. if you want to just have a profile on the army website, then you can fill that.. I don’t think it’s mandatory
Ah. Okay!

We all know there are issues with this registration but I'll like to bring the attention of everyone to this.
1).Log into your account (for those that have successfully registered)
2) Select the Edit link on your profile.

Now I noticed that the site is bringing out different thing for different candidates.
In the 1st pic attached for candidate A only the field for first name was displayed(removed for privacy).

In the 2nd attached pic for candidate B you can see that all the data the person entered during registration was displayed in the person's profile which is not the case for the first candidate.

I feel something is not right somewhere prolly there is an issue somewhere for the 1st candidate or the 2nd candidate or from the portal itself.

So kindly check your's and tell us situation report with your profile, let's know if it's an issue that is worth escalating to the authorities...
I just messaged the Facebook admin. (s)he said that I should message them again tomorrow while they try to find out what happened.

Sure the second application is not the recently released recruitment portal?

Because there's no edit option in my profile.

lol. That's barely $100. A US special force guy during the Afganistan war in the early 2000's received above $1000 as operational allowance.
Lol. The budget of the US for military alone in 2020 is $721.5 billion. Nigeria's total budget for 2020 is $35 billion. Do the maths dear.
