GentlePEACE: No I don't. I regretted not paying for it back in school. Pls how can I go about it? Still it doesn't stop you though, you can still apply for Education corps. You already meet the requirements, so still apply for DSSC under education corps. |

Dannyhonda: With this rate, i doubt if dssc and ssc would get to 50k and 30k respectively with the fact navy would be out on Tuesday You have a valid point here. Also note that we now have approximately 3 more weeks to the deadline for application. Profiles may remain under 50k for dssc |

I'm sure this question has never been asked here, because I'm still reading this thread from the beginning, currently on page 206. Here's the question:
For DSSC applicant (this is what I applied for hence my concern), what does the 6 months comprised of? Is it just drills and military training or they sit in class to take course, if yes what's the scenario like?
Don't mind me, I beg you. I can be very optimistic. |

sikowitz17: 1.. when the shortlist is posted, wait and read the instructions the army will give... this is the first time they are writing an exam first so nobody knows.. we can only assume 2.. still nobody knows as the office of the military secetary is in charge.. but it’d most likely be 60 for ssc and 35/40 for dssc for screening... not exam.. 3.. there are many factors that can get you shortlisted, good documents, good age, passing the exams well, Nepotism, connections, MERIT, etc Thanks, always. |

Assumption: So we've been shortlisted for the test to be taken at our choice state.
Are we to come along with the signed 5 page document which we printed upon our application submission?
How many candidates may be likely shortlisted per state? I'm not talking about specific just a guestimate based off experience.
***** A quick one: Anyone with the faintest idea on the criteria for shortlisting? |

ModestGal: You are wrong, I'm so pissed at your statement. May I ask you what your IQ is? I'm sure its either we are at thesame IQ level or mine is higher, and I'm not yet rich, which means it doesn't work the way you mentioned it.
Before anyone use any opportunity, they would first breathe, feed, cloth, sheltered, once there's no way for an average youth to do cater for those things doing petty thing, the way to making it big would be limited.
Is it not money that they will use to learn skills? Won't they wear cloth to be able to connect with people? If there's no food in the belly, how will they have the energy to even think to do anything? This is the major problem of the youths, once basic needs are met, they can get to any height, but in Nigeria, people still lack basic needs, that need to be sought out first, and that's where the problem is Marry me please. You're very bright. I want that for my progeny. People are too quick to label graduates lazy and compare them with the likes of Zuckerberg and co. People who already have their basic needs met. Something we can't say for the average Nigerian youth. Thank you for this sound perspective. |

Prisamoa: Why is there a whatsapp group nitori olorun! What is it that can't be discussed here? Why create a whatsapp group when this platform already exists? Why selective with sharing the info you have? If the 2019 set had done same then we wouldn't know Jack about the process too. Post all you know here. Thanks The Whatsapp group does not obliterate the relevance of this thread. |

Next. It's logical reasoning based, any practical idea on what to expect please? Strictly Logical reasoning. And it's very time bound. 20mins you're signed out. If you pass, you're shortlisted for the next (physical/on-site) test, at a venue that'll be communicated. |

emrain: Useless twàt. Most people don't even know why they have a certificate.
A certificate is not a passport to life in eldorado.
A certificate is simply a proof that you have attained a certain height. If the so-called ”height” is useless, then your knowledge is practically useless.
I mean, how can a human being living in Nigeria go to a university in NIGERIA to study political science? Political science in Nigeria of all places.
What exactly do you want to achieve with such useless and substandard knowledge? Blame the system. Not the individual. Any right thinking human, after spending such funds for a University education expects ROI. This is a global practice. If the course is useless, then why is the University still offering them? In saner climes people sue their Universities if they feel their Universities have robbed them by offering irrelevant degrees. |

Allan Turing, Florence Nightingale, Leonardo Davinci and so many other inventors with celebrated level of intelligence were all gay and that didn't mean anything to you but this particular incidence led you to conclude that gay people are foolish and senseless?
