At that rate DSSC will hit 40k+ while SSC will be within 16k+ at the close of application. We have 3 more weeks to go.
Judging from the occasional fluctuations on the portal, I doubt. But let's keep watching and observing. Did you apply for DSSC/SSC this year?

Been reading earlier pages on this thread and I've seen your footprint. You're a king.

Baba I go ministry for Lagos, dem say dem no fit give me say make I go my school wey I write, the school just gimme testimonial based on say na 2006. People in the house, abeg talk. Every advice na advice
Lagos stopped issuing FSLC since 2004. Your testimonial will suffice. Any FSLC after then is definitely not genuine. For Lagos o.

Either go with testimonial and hope for the best or go get from another school
If your primary school is in Lagos, don't dare try to forge FSLC. Especially if you finishedprimary school from 2004 upward. Go to your school and get a testimonial.

Nonsense. What makes phone manufacturer think that more cameras equates better picture quality? They should better learn from Google pixel phones.

SITUATION REPORT FRIDAY MORNING

SSC = 8621

DSSC = 23980

From yesterday report on day to day comparison, this shows that we have 398 new profiles for SSC, and also 1140 new profiles for DSSC.

An average of 233 candidates per states for SSC
An average of 648 candidates per state for DSSC

Generally we can see there is a little downtrend in the creation of new profiles for both SSC/DSSC, and as predicted the first week of NN reg will also assist in boosting the tally, based on Nigerians mentality of doing registration for all available job application same time.
Thanks boss.

One can boldly infer from this trend that DSSC application may not exceed 30k application. And SSC may remain under 10k or a little above 11k.

Correction:
1. That doesn't look like NDA cadets. I think they're NMS cadets
2. That's not job, when you see job you go know grin. What you saw in that video is called massaging. Example of jobs include planting, hanging, hunching etc depending on the desire of who sold the job for you
Na wa o. Fear catch me. Hope they don't "massage" SSC/dssc cadets like this. They shouldn't forget we're "graduates" and "intellectuals" ooo. grin

I just watched a video of cadets in training.

Is this a norm or could they have done something? Or is this the buying of job often talked about? These are ladies oh! Abi are these ones recruits?

I want to even ask.

What do cadets do during those 6 long months. Is it just military trainings or do they like attend classes or lectures relating to the various corps?

It is okay to believe in predestination. That's your belief. And it is okay not to believe everything is predestined. We can respectfully hold our individual beliefs and it'll not affect our interpersonal relationships.

That said, I personally don't believe in predestination. Because if everything is predestined by an all-powerful, all-knowing and all-merciful God, then why are there wars, starvation, poverty, pandemic in the world? Will an all-powerful, all-knowing and all-merciful God sit back and watch the world go into a pandemic, world wars, etc?

Guy make I talk wetin happen.. I came online yesterday night and I saw the thread decided to read through and I saw the moniker.. I wanted to comment but then I knew I’d seen the moniker on this thread too.. so I thought what’s the guy playing at.. was he misleading on purpose or he didn’t know.. the only thing I thought to do was to call attention to the thread cos I know he was here too.. you know how the remaining story went.
Honestly, you're a good guy. You have personally answered one of my questions here on this particular thread about testimonial/FSLC issue. I apologise for overreacting earlier. But the fact is, it was never my intention to mislead anyone and you implying that earlier made me react the way I did. I only gave what I felt was good advice based on my discretion.

My sincere apologies. Let's bury the hatchet.

If you approached me on the road somewhere and asked me for directions and I'm not very familiar with my environment but I tell you to keep going straight till you get where you are going.. how would you feel? honest question.. mhen its early.. everybody should go and do what makes them happy...i can decide to go comment there, but I've decided not to..you can go there to shed some light for them as well.
If you approach me on the road and asked me for directions, and in all sincerity I give you what I thought was the right direction, and another guy was beside me who think he knows absolutely the best route to take and keeps quiet (minding his business). How would you feel?

You're free to comment on any thread, but if you see error and refuse to correct don't go about making jest, correct them or keep minding your business.

Some people have this believe that when they mislead people it will better their chances of getting in. na the same mentality dey make them plan evil for thier village men for screening just to get in.
What those set of people don't realise is that even if only them apply and it's not yet their time them no go still make the list and if they eventually enter by winching someone else them fit go die for training or first task upon commissioning. I wonder why people choose to go to such extent at the detriment of others that's pure evil.
And I must say that this comment is very unnecessary.

What was the point... you seemed to have it all under control...Ps when you give advice to candidates, don't give them what you feel is right...Tell them what you know is right.. I already saw 2 people who might not make the list cos you felt they should apply under what department you think links their course..If the course isn't advertised, they shouldn't apply simple.
I never categorically told anyone to apply to a particular corps, I said "Consider applying to XYZ corps".

It was an honest suggestion, especially for guys hell bent on DSSC.
I did suggest for an Econs guy to "consider" finance corps.

So don't come here an act all sanctimonious, while vilifying someone only attempting to help out genuinely albeit with limited experience.

As at 7th September, 2020. At 11:15pm

DSSC. 22412
SSC. 7760
An average of 393 applicants across the 36 states and the FCT, for DSSC.
And an average of 146 applicants for SSC across the 36 states and FCT.

****

Assuming for DSSC; 35% of candidates forged their age, falsified certificates, or do not meet the minimum requirements = (35% of 22,412 = 7844) ----> 22,412 – 7,844 = 14,568

:. 14,568÷37 = 393
That leaves us with 393 per state for DSSC writing the first test.

Assuming for SSC: 30% of candidates forged their age, falsified certificates, or do not meet the minimum requirements = (30% of 7,760 = 2,328) ----> 7,760 – 2,328 = 5,432

:. 5,432÷37 = 146
That leaves us with 146 candidates per state for SSC writing the first test. grin

Hey guys good morning! Please I’m in a dilemma here o! As I was filling my details online, I got to where I would put my NIN(I didn’t know we would be needing this). Now, the issue is that there’s an error in my date of birth on my NIN. I was born in 1993 buh NIN shows 1990. Tried several times to correct but unable to yet. However my international passport, WAEC and date of birth certificate shows my correct age. Would this affect me? I think I wouldn’t be shortlisted and this kinda painful!
Pls, I don't have NIN, is there an alternative that is allowed in lieu of NIN, like Int'l Passport number or BVN?
