That's a true leader in action; an excellent state of mind

It doesn't matter who Buhari picks.. as long as this clueless dude is out. In fact, I prefer a Buhari and Fashola ticket.

We must not forget that Nigeria is bigger than Jonathan and his mediocre team....Smart people deserve an intelligent president.

One of the many major problems of Mr president is surrounding himself with senseless sycophants, who are not courageous enough to help him by being honest. We can also see how some of them visit this forum to openly make fool of themselves...How could you call a mere pussy cat a LION?
You must be out of your mind.
Politics / Re: How Is Buhari Better Than GEJ: Are Nigerians Daft? by BigB11(m): 7:29pm On Dec 08, 2014
Jonathan should not just run away from the presidential debate next year.

In order for you to participate in any presidential debates you must know one or two things, you must have content to present to the voters and a leadership body language (charisma) to entice the voters...the problem here is, Mr president has nothing to work with. I'm sure that the man will find a s1lly strategy to avoid all the debates. And if he does participate, it is certain that as usual the man will be shaking like sick bird in the middle of harmattan season.

It is not by force to lead. Mr president should try other fields.... Faculty of Agriculture and Environment @ Lagos State University is badly looking for professor of agricultural, I'm sure Jonathan would be a perfect fit.

Nigerians are simply tired.

There are differences between being a Nigerian president and being a mere bus conductor.
There are requirements... You've got to be smart, you've got to be strong and You need a very high level of common sense.... It is clear that our current president severely lacks all these things.

During the last election, many of us did not know Jonathan, but now that he has been exposed as a bird brain president... He's got to go.

Using jihad, religion, division or tribalism mechanism will not work.... Nigerians are simply tired. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Nigeria is bigger than Jonathan and his mediocre team.
Nigeria is here to stay... Whether you like it or not, Buhari must take over.

Stabilizing power supply was one of many GEJ's baseless promises......it's now 2014 going to 2015, and Nigerians are still depending on petrol and diesel to keep light on at their homes 88% of the time.
Politicians continue to take Nigerians for granted year after year without hesitation or justification. Enough of selling our votes for bag of rice, we need to get it together and get it right this time around.

If we want things in Nigeria to change for better, we've got to hold leaders accountable for not meeting their responsibilities and say not to unskilled and vision-less leaders.

Folks are missing the point as usual.
No one here cares about what APC or PDP or UPN distributes to entice voters...The point is to simply take whatever it is that PDP distributes and then still do what is right......which is to vote for Integrity, Discipline and Corruption free society.

Politics / Buhari Brings Back Integrity, Discipline And Corruption Free Society by BigB11(m): 7:19pm On Oct 30, 2014
Yes, Integrity, Discipline and Corruption free society....all these would be introduced efficaciously under the leadership of Buhari.

You can turn a blind eye if you want, but without any questions, it is apparent to all Nigerian citizens that PDP as a party (from the top to the bottom) has repeatedly failed to be reliable or responsible. Their 3 colors umbrella or party logo represents nothing but a big sign of LACK OF INTEGRITY and highest level of incompetence.

You can not expect a bunch of in-disciplined individuals to introduce a cogent war against indiscipline, it is also true that a group of corrupt leaders will never discover an effective strategy to tackle corruption. This is why for many years corruption has been visibly part of our system and culture...this may never change as long as PDP party is in-charge.

Having integrity is a quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness....in fact, the supreme quality for any leader is unquestionably integrity. Without it, no real success is possible, no matter whether it is on, a soccer field, in a cult, in an army, or in an office....

We're doomed if PDP ever gets another chance....Just take a break, open your mind and think about it.

Politics / Re: Buhari } A Better Fit For Nigeria by BigB11(m): 5:58pm On Oct 29, 2014
While insisting on common citizenship and equal rights of all, we should continue to recognize and respect religious and ethnic differences among all Nigerians...this is the only effective and efficient way to get to where we should be.

Our common goal as Nigerian citizens should be taking our country back in a state of confusion, mediocrity, indiscipline and corruption. Therefore, it would simply be dangerous and f00lish to allow ethnicity or religion or stup1dity to deter us from electing a better leader in this coming election.

Nigerians are smart people, we need not to be beaten over the head repeatedly to recognize what is bad or good for us.
Without any question, we're simply doomed if PDP gets another chance....(and this is coming from a former PDP die-hard supporter).

Nigeria is bigger than any party or any one of us.

It is absolutely impossible to continue to do the same thing over and over, and expect a different outcome....
PDP party has been in-charge for too many years with too little to show for it. It's time to look past this group of people and allow others (Buhari, Fashola and Amaechi) with different ideas to take over.
Nigeria may not recover for many years to come if we dare allow this chance to slip away, just like many other chances we've had in the past.
We may not clearly understand what tomorrow would bring, but we surely know what yesterday brought........and it isn't pleasant.

Vote for a real leader
Vote for war against corruption
Vote for war against indiscipline
Vote for accountability
Vote for transparency
Vote against substandard system
Vote for the future and
Vote for your country.
No one else can do this for us.

Politics / Why Buhari Is A Perfect Fit by BigB11(m): 6:27pm On Oct 20, 2014
Believe it or not, our main issues in Nigeria for many year are two:
1. indiscipline
2. Corruption

When these two major issues are addressed and tacked correctly all other things in Nigeria would fall in place accordingly. But finding a courageous and dedicated leader to take accurate action and effectively solve all these issues remains a mission impossible. In fact, PDP party has spent almost 20 years in office in a round circle without getting to the bottom of any of these issues.

Buhari may not know much about Economics or Biology, but I can assure you that among the bunch, he remains the only entity that clearly understands the root of our troubles in Nigeria. He has an answer to all the questions that have lingered for too many years. It wouldn't take him 20 years to find obvious solutions to what we've been up against in Nigeria.

Nigerians, don't let us continue to fool ourselves, please understand that as a leader, you can not introduce discipline when you're not disciplined, you can not eradicate corruption when you're corrupt, and it is also true that a lawless country has no criminals. It is that simple.

Opportunity doesn't come too many times, here comes another chance for all Nigerians to take back their country from the hands of indisciplined, corrupt and incompetent leaders. Nobody else would do this for us.
This is why I've decided to cast my vote for Buhari and not APC or PDP.

We can not continue to do the same thing and expect a different outcome; we've got to change hands.

1985, IBB was the president of Nigeria and our teachers told us
that Buhari was the former Head of state. Our teacher also
called us "the leaders of tomorrow" 27 years later, IBB and
Buhari are still contesting for Presidency. Its either our teacher lied to us about being the leaders of
tomorrow. Or tomorrow is yet to come. Who's fooling who?
In 1983, Bamanga Tukur was the Governor of the defunct
Gongola State (now Adamawa & Taraba) and 30 years later, he
is today the Chairman of the ruling Party, The PDP; Dr. Bello Halliru was commissioner in the Old Sokoto State
(now Sokoto, Kebbi & Zamfara) and 33 years after was the
Minister of Defence; Major General David Mark(rtd) was the military governor of
Niger State in 1984 and 28years later he is today the Senate
President; Gov. Murtala Nyako was the governor of Niger State in 1976
and 36years later he is today the Governor of Adamawa State; Ogbonnaya Onu was governor of Abia State in 1992 and
20years after he is today the National Chairman of ANPP; Gov. David Jonah Jang was the governor of Benue State in 1985
and 27years after he is today the governor of plateau state; and Martins Elechi the Ebonyi State Governor is over 80 years
old! Only in Nigeria is this possible, where the youth of today have
no hope into the future! From strike in health sector, to the labour, to judiciary, to
Education and today our students are home lavishing! Let Nigerian youth come to an alliance and fight for the
unborn. We can't continue like this. Pass it to everyone if you
believe in the NIGERIA DREAM. Let’s tell them ENOUGH IS
ENOUGH! SHARE this till they see it. It’s a good place to start.
TOGETHER WE CAN

Well said brother.
But keep in mind that younger politicians in Nigeria today are not better than the older ones, in fact they're worse in everyway, therefore, let us not fool ourselves. What is on ground today is much bigger than age or ethnicity. We need our nation to be rescued fast from heartless leaders, indiscipline and substandard system. I see no one else on the list, but Buhari, that has a complete capability to make this happen.

Without any doubt, nothing is guaranteed in life, but something is certain....we are completely DOOMED if PDP gets another chance.

Buhari declares today, says 2015, opportunity for progressives to win

FORMER military head of state and presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari, will today hold his presidential declaration, ahead the 2015 election.

Though he had earlier scheduled the event for October 8, it was re-scheduled for today in what a source close to him said was done to enable him to conclude his nationwide consultation.

The declaration, now scheduled for today, will hold at Eagle Square, Abuja.

speaking in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Tuesday, Buhari said the forthcoming general election would provide opportunity for the progressives to mobilise and win or go under for good.

He said he was contesting the 2015 election, in furtherance of his quest to make the country more secured for its people and coming generations.

Here comes another presidential election; another opportunity for all Nigerians to get it right. It would simply be smart for Nigerians to set aside their silly/ unfruitful sentimental mentality and focus more on what is on ground, and all the dark obstacles that have prevented this country from moving forward for too many years.
I see no other serious candidate (young or old) on the list that has the capability to tackle corruption and give us the security we deserve. Buhari may just be the right party to bring back what we've lost for the past 40 years.

Posted in 2011
Now that Jonathan continues to show Nigerians that he isn't capable of effectively and efficiently leading this nation, I think it's time for everyone to put the personal issues aside, let go the sentiment, open our minds and be true to ourselves.
Among all our leaders for the past 30 years Buhari still remains the only one with the best record. During his short period as our president we experienced a better Nigeria, stronger laws and disciplined Nigerians in general.
He's simple, disciplined, focused, tough and has the experience we need at this time to effectively move this nation forward.

Our problems in Nigeria are very obvious and solutions to them are even straight forward, but finding the right leader to initiate these solutions becomes clearly impossible for more than 30 years.
I honestly feel that what we are currently experiencing among the PDP and the bombing is a great opportunity (wake up call) for all Nigerians to come to realize the importance of electing the right leader and not just any leader that shares the same village with our parents.

Regardless of our personal differences on some issues, we must immediately forget the sentiment and call a spade a spade and not diamond.
What I have seen and experienced lately has opened up my eyes; Buhari is the only candidate that is directly affiliated to Nigeria (Jonathan is affiliated to OBJ and Atiku is also affiliated to IBB) and will fight/work very hard for you and I.

The value of a sentiment is the amount of sacrifice you are prepared to make for it. I'm not here trying to push Buhari into your throat, but you should take a time out and think about it.

Politics / Re: Between President Jonathan And Obasanjo Who Is WINNING The BATTLE by BigB11(m): 5:04am On Dec 27, 2013
I'm sorry to say that none of these 2 entities is winning or losing the battle. The real people that are enormously losing by every second are Nigerians; yes, the same silly people that elected or should I say selected Jonathan.
Jonathan is too blind to see what is important, while OBJ has no business battling anyone, I think more than anything else he needs to go home and figure out the best way to straighten things up with all his abandoned children.
I think it is a common sense to know that one has to first be a good father before becoming a great leader. OBJ just like is protege (Jonathan) knows nothing about leading anything.

Please do not let us waste our time focusing on who is winning or losing out of these 2....I think we are better off concentrating more on how to discover better leadership to restructure this damaged system.
Politics / Re: Is APC The "New PDP".......by Chido Onumah by BigB11(m): 4:48am On Dec 27, 2013
I see absolutely nothing good resulting from OBJ romancing with APC or all these other PDP members running from everywhere to stack themselves into APC bus.

What is going on here clearly has nothing to do with Jonathan or Nigeria failed state; it simply has everything to do with these people realizing that PDP party is no longer lucrative. It is now time for them to think deeply about their various pockets and how or where these pockets would continue to be filled with more stolen money.

I honestly feel that Nigeria is better off with new people with fresh ideas.

It is that simple.
Politics / Does Jonathan Deserve Kudos For The "Transformation Of MMA"? by BigB11(m): 4:17am On Dec 27, 2013
I don't think so.

Any transformation at this point, without first eradicating corruption in Nigeria, is a complete waste of time. This is why Jonathan has not been getting any respect around the world. He came in as a Messiah of hope, who was determined to viciously tackle corruption, but yet (as of 27th of December, 2013) all of the corrupt governors/ leaders are still living in this country larger than life, and 75% of the population continues to live below poverty level.

Jonathan has all the opportunities to turn things around, but he isn't sharp enough to take advantage of any of these opportunities. The Aviation minister situation is a good example and OBJ's letter is another; the Aviation Minister should have been fired and arrested, while OBJ's letter should have been used to restructure the vision of this administration. But our President sees nothing wrong with his dear friend, Mrs. Aviation and he also thinks writing a poem in response to his former god father is the appropriate manner in handling OBJ's allegations.

Transforming anything isn't the problem, corruption is the problem. When corruption is eradicated all other things will fall in place. Therefore, at least for now, Jonathan deserves no kudos and remains the joke of all time.

I guess, this is what happens when you surround yourself with mob of uninformed sycophant from your village.

Again, Al-Mustapha, just like any other Nigerian, is far from being a perfect entity, but when you look into his eyes and pay attention to his body language you will see raw leadership qualities that are missing in Nigeria today.

It would be very interesting to actually witness this man's energy and skills in a democratic world. Something tells me that he may end up bringing something special to the table.

I'll love to see him in a debate, I think he has something up his sleeves.
Politics / Re: Do Not Be Too Happy About The PDP Members Defecting To APC by BigB11(m): 4:20am On Dec 26, 2013
Now that the old PDP is gradually changing to the new APC, it may not be a bad idea for the Nigerian youth to come together and come up with another party.

APC members are more or less like snakes that have just completed the removal of their shed skin; at the end of the day they all remain the same poisonous snakes of many colors.
Nigerians should not be f00lish to fall for this rubbish once again.

We want new people, new ideas, new system and new party. Nigeria deserves a true brand new life, I honestly don't see this taking place with this fake party, called APC.
Politics / The Fall And Rise Of Al-mustapha? by BigB11(m): 3:35am On Dec 26, 2013
Al-Mustapha is not a perfect man just like any other Nigerian, but if you listen and pay attention to this man you will notice that he knows what he's talking about and also clearly understands this country. He sounds better and looks stronger than most of our leaders in Nigeria today.

Furthermore, at least 70% of past and present leaders support him; something tells me that we haven't seen the end of this man. He has a lot more to offer, in terms of leadership, and I will not be surprised if he's elected or appointed to an influential position in 2015.

I guess, time will tell.

Politics / Writing A Letter To Reply Obasanjo Exhibited Lack Of Leadership Skills. by BigB11(m): 3:29pm On Dec 23, 2013
Yes, OBJ ‘s letter has brought out several allegations that are directly against Jonathan’s administration, but writing a letter in response only shows that Jonathan is out of touch and has no leadership skills whatsoever.

Instead of playing this childish letter game, Jonathan should have addressed the letter by speaking directly to Nigerians (the people he’s leading) by radio or TV press conference and allow his actions over the next few months to do the rest (as we all know, actions speak louder than words).

No good will result from the childish actions of these 2 grown ass men. OBJ is a citizen and a statesman, while Jonathan is our number 1 man (at least for now). As a statesman and a former president, OBJ has done what he knows best, but as the number 1 man, responding to OBJ with another letter was absolutely unnecessary. Instead of writing this stup1d letter, Jonathan should have taken actions that would show Nigerians that OBJ is nothing but an old vindictive salty human being....but as usual, president Jonathan has once again missed road.
Wallah1, leadership is not for everybody; some people are just not built to lead...but only to follow for the rest of their lives, Jonathan Ebele Goodluck happens to be one of these people.

Why are we so happy about this new development?
What exactly do we expect when is all said and done?

What we forget to recognize is the fact that PDP defecting to APC will only give us the same old same, the same sad sorry @as stories, the same failed state...changing party by the same hyenas that FAILED us, STOLE from us and DEGRADED the standard of this nation will change NOTHING at the end of the day. This action would only give us a little bit more of what we have been getting for the past 15 years. This is nothing but a smoke screen!!!!

Please do not be too quick to be happy or accept these thieves jumping the bus because sooner or later we will find this bus in the same muddy ditch (next to the PDP crashed bus they jumped off of); because their sad action is only to benefit themselves and absolutely nothing else.
