What are you talking about, dude?
If he can not safe himself he would have been in Oshodi general Hospital.
The man is in Germany, being handled by the best of the best on this planet.
He is 70 yrs old. At this stage, it is natural for one to do minor surgery here and there to improve and enjoy day to day activities in general.

If God still wants you around, that's how it will be. There is nothing anyone can do about it.
Again, please don't f00l yourselves as usual, IBB will be back stronger than ever.

IBB is now 70+, let us pray and hope that we all witness 70 and more

Absolutely there is no need to continue to make unnecessary noise. God gives and takes, don't be surprised if this man ends up living longer than some of these noise makers.
God is in control and always will be; he knows today and also designs tomorrow. So, why not just simmer down and allow God to perform his magnificent duties?

Even Gaddafi was better than 98% of our leaders.
PoliticsRe: Corruption In Nigeria Is Cultural And Not Political by BigB11(m): 2:32pm On Oct 28, 2011
I disagree with you on this one. This is not a military regime where the decision of one man is supreme.  In democracy, the elected members of the house make LAWS. Even if Jonathan wants to take them all on, he cannot because the bunch we have there are all corrupt. If they want to impeach him, it will take them just a day. Corruption is so deep in our psychic that it will be too hard to do away. A damage that has been done over the years cannot be undone in six months. What I think we need is to get people of good integrity into the NASS. Gradually if we are lucky that they don't get corrupt eventually, then we will have a good chance to fight against corruption. If good laws are made and they put strong mechanism in place to enforce those laws, then we can start talking.
So right now, I don't think any former military man has anything to offer us no matter whatever guise they come with. They put us in this mess. If Buhary  and co would have allowed the civilian govt to continue, maybe by now, we would have corrected some mistakes because there is no way the old guys would have continued up until now. Instead they took over because of their greed and brought us back to square one.
Look, at this point it doesn't matter. If military regime or Boko Haram regime is the key to successfully deal with corruption in Nigeria, we should all welcome it. We definitely can not continue to operate in this unbearable and senseless state. Something totally unprecedented should be done.
We need a mad man with iron hand to take control of things in this country.

Without first cleaning up the mess on ground, corrupt leaders/citizens will continue to use the same democracy you're talking about to their advantage.
Imagine people like Adebayo Akala and Gbenga Daniel talking about democracy and their rights, isn't that absurd?
Look, these folks have disrespected democracy, our constitutions and have taken us for a very long ride. Democracy shouldn't be used to rescue any corrupt entity (enemies of progress) in this country. They should all be severely punished.

Again, Jonathan is a good man. But he doesn't have the courage required to deal with this black wicked vultures. They are a bit too much for Mr. President.
Buhari would have been the perfect man to lead this country at this very hectic time.

Akala went to the court house for a fashion show, to show off his wrist watch and heavily diamoned rings, while Gbenga Daniel brought his paid hopeless and lowlife supporters to the court house. Tinubu on the other hand also continues to throw out various demands. This is a complete rubbish!
These thieves are only flexing their muscle, macking and taking advantage of our weak laws as they desire, only because they completely know the capabilities of our lame president.

I can assure you with confidence that if Buhari was our president today, things would have been handled a little bit differently. Buhari isn't afraid to go for the throat at any time and any day. And they all (thieves) clearly know this fact.

Nigeria will remain the same if we continue to allow sentiment to determine our future; it is that simple.
PoliticsRe: Corruption In Nigeria Is Cultural And Not Political by BigB11(m): 11:40pm On Oct 27, 2011
Very interesting topic.

I'm very happy that most of us are now starting to wake up one by one.
Politicians are not the only corrupt group of people in this country, everybody is corrupt. Politicians may be making the most money from the sad situation our country is up against, but we must never forget that corruption is a vampire that has touched almost every human being in Nigeria. It is a rule in Nigeria that without a kickback, nobody can survive.
That is, in order for anyone in Nigeria to be successful, Corruption is expected to take place.

Things will not change for better until we all rise up and elect someone that knows one or two things about leadership and discipline. I still feel very comfortable to state that Nigeria would have been better off with Buhari as our president.
I find it very difficult to understand why Goodluck has been elected.

No disrespect, Goodluck is damnn too weak to take down these black wicked vultures.

Just imagine Buhari as our president today; what exactly do you think Gbenga Daniel, Adebayo Akala and Bola Tinubu would have been going thru?
Without a tough luck, iron hand, and a partially mad man in-charge Nigeria will remain a hopeless/senseless land till the end of time.

It is up to us, Nigerians to wake up, come together and make things more difficult for enemies of progress, from the top to the bottom.
PoliticsRe: Describe Nigeria's Biggest Problem In One Word! by BigB11(m): 6:49pm On Oct 27, 2011
Poor leadership and corruption from the top to the bottom.

I still think our leaders need psychological evaluation at least twice a year.
Foreign AffairsLibyans May End Up Regretting How Moammar Gadhafi's Life Was Taken by BigB11(op): 4:54am On Oct 22, 2011
First, please note that I'm not here to applaud Gaddafi's various despicable actions.

In fact, I'm happy for the Libyans for finally gaining their freedom. However, we must not forget that there are many different ways to effectively get rid of an unwanted leader or a dictator, but I'm not sure if the way or method Libyans have chosen to abash their leader of 42 years was appropriate under all circumstances.
Gaddafi was their leader for 42 years, I'm sure without any doubt that during his time there were a few things he did incredibly that favoured Liyan citizens enormously. So, to ambush Gaddafi (Libyan leader for 42 years) openly on the street like an unwanted but valuable bushmeat was not only uncivilized, but also did not speak well of the Libyan society quite frankly.

Without any questions, Gaddafi could have still been killed, but with class and utmost respect for their country, and absolutely not this terrible displayed of savagery at it's best by Libyan people.
Even the killing of Bin Laden who was responsible for the death of over 5000 Americans was handled not only with class, but also with respect.

I hope it isn't going to be too late for the Libyan to realize that they haven't humiliated their leader of 42 years, but they have humiliated themselves.
I will not be surprised if this country regrets this awful action for a very long time.
Africans say "be careful of what you wish for"

Let's keep our eyes open and watch how these folks handle their various businesses all around the world after the fall of the unwanted Gaddafi regime.

Kobo is an empty barrel who thinks she actually smart. Roflmao
At first, I felt the same about this individual, but after reading a few comments posted by this individual I immediately changed my mind. I think Kobo like many other folks has her ways, but she's still a bright broad with great ideas.
Some times she may be a little bit salty, mostly because she doesn't care too much for the way things are being handled by our leaders at home in Nigeria.

I say, give her a break and let her be.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Commissions 72 Units Of 3 Bedroom Flats by BigB11(m): 10:41pm On Oct 14, 2011
I do not think this project is designed for low income earners. Everyone doesn't have to live in Lekki.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Commissions 72 Units Of 3 Bedroom Flats by BigB11(m): 10:25pm On Oct 14, 2011
Without any question, system in Nigeria is designed for citizens to mostly steal or receive bribe to be able to live comfortably. However, I think btw 22m and 35m luxury flats for this area isn't too much.
Middle class with job should be able to handle it if mortgage at reasonable interest rate is also available.

Average luxury house in this area goes for at least 180m, while luxury service flat goes for 100m. I think the idea of the project should be viewed as positive development.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Commissions 72 Units Of 3 Bedroom Flats by BigB11(m): 8:00pm On Oct 14, 2011
Here we go with this kid again.
I wonder how much exactly it cost extra to have a decent discussion without picking a fight or looking to win?

May God bless Nigerians and other people around the world.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Commissions 72 Units Of 3 Bedroom Flats by BigB11(m): 7:51pm On Oct 14, 2011
FYI: the same concept will also be implemented in Ibadan and Abeokuta.
I see this project as a unique way to indirectly improve our severely crumbled infrastructure facilities in Nigeria. New housing or estate will promote better roads, well organized market place, job opportunities, reliable amenities or social courtesies, security and decent standard of living.

This concept should be supported by Nigerians; if it is well structured and good leadership in place, nothing is better.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Commissions 72 Units Of 3 Bedroom Flats by BigB11(m): 7:26pm On Oct 14, 2011
I have seen some of these flats and also the blue prints of the project. At first it didn't make sense, but when you take a good look at the project and the idea, one will realize the main idea behind the 'elegant' housing estates.
I think what Fashola admin is trying to do is to gradually bring back the missing middle class in Lagos state. I think N22m-N35m for a 3 bed rms luxury flat in this area isn't bad at all (if mortgage is also provided at a reasonable rate by govt and banks)
We may not realize the positive outcome of this project at this time, but with time I think the idea will be a fruitful one.

What we should be discussing is the strategy they've put in place in which they will use to fairly distribute the flats and the most effective maintenance plan to maintain the habitable standards for many years to come.
PoliticsTinubu Goes Down If Gbenga Daniel And Adebayo Go Down. by BigB11(op): 12:08am On Oct 09, 2011
It is obvious that Jonathan needs a little bit more than a miracle to be taken serious not only in Nigeria, but also around the world.
This new development (Daniel and Akala) might be the break for Jonathan to prove himself to Nigerians and others that he represents the change we need in Nigeria.
But we must not forget that Jonathan will not just sell off 2 PDP governors (from 2 states that have been taken by ACN governors) without a big blow to an opposition party (ACN).
Therefore, expect Gbenga Daniel and Adebayo Akala to be severely dealt with, but Tinubu will also be punished.
Also Demeji Bankole will not be forgotten.

I think Tinubu's team has realized the game plan and taking things a little bit more seriously. So, do not be surprised if Ashiwaju lays low for the next few months or even disappears from Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Are Acn Governors Over Hyped? Are They Different From The Usual Naija Politician by BigB11(m): 2:17am On Oct 08, 2011
ACN governors are not different from PDP governors or UPN governors or NPN governors. All our leaders are fucckup, this is why Nigeria is on a dusty floor today.

ACN governors are just lucky to have someone like Gov Fashola on their side.
Gov Fashola isn't perfect. Without any doubt he has a lot to learn, but God knows that he's trying his best.
Many Nigerians voted for ACN governors during the last election simply because they wanted someone that had something in common with Gov. Fashola, and absolutely nothing else.

Side Note: if Gbenga Daniel and Akala go down, i'm 100% sure that Tinubu will also go down.
It will be a balanced trade btw the 2 parties.
There is no way Jonathan (PDP) will sell off 2 governors from his party without bringing down another big wig from an opposition party.
It may not be clear at the moment, but mark it down< whatever happens to Daniel and Akala will determine the future of Tinubu.
PoliticsRe: Aregbesola: I Can Never Leave Lagos And Lagos Can Never Leave Me by BigB11(m): 1:38am On Oct 05, 2011
Aregbesola is a big f00l to come and disrespect Nigerians without hesitation. If you want stay and live in Lagos, it is absolutely fine, being a governor or a leader is not by force and not for everybody. Osun people should come together and stone the useless governor.
Absolutely a product of Tinubu.
How can a leader of a state come out to make such a despicable statement.
Nigeria will not move forward if we do not get rid of all these useless, totally incompetent crmininals.

Aregbesola should be impeached.
PoliticsRe: Fashola As Dictator Or Fashola As Democratic President? by BigB11(m): 11:45pm On Oct 03, 2011
Blackteeth:
I think I know what you're thinking.
Buhari would have been the perfect Nigerian to deliver what is missing in this country.

Yes, there are many ways to enforce our laws without moving away from democracy. All it takes is a sincere leader to take control by taking the bull by the horns.

If demeji Bankole and Gbenga Daniel are found guilty, imagine locking them up for 25 years without parole. What do you think will happen to the rest? My friend, it doesn't take much, we just need real leaders who are sincere and bold enough to make tough and effective decisions.
If Mustapha could be locked up for almost 15 years, there should be nothing stopping Nigerian government from locking up corrupt leaders for 25 or 30 years without parole.

Buhari would have brought the change we deserve in this country. You can just forget it with this dude that is currently just living in Aso rock. Nothing great will happen for the next 4 yrs. Sorry guys.
PoliticsRe: Fashola As Dictator Or Fashola As Democratic President? by BigB11(m): 10:16pm On Oct 03, 2011
Just put in place tools that will help to enforce our laws and we will witness miracle in this country.
Do you know that a good percentage of Nigerians are very happy that Nigeria is a lawless country? Many of us are making big money in Nigeria today simply because nothing works correctly. Many wealthy Nigerians can not leave this country for more than 5 days because everything and anything goes in Nigeria.

Therefore, I think democracy or dictatorship regime will not work effectively in Nigeria if our laws are not enforced from the top to the bottom.

Have you ever heard of IBB smoking Marijuana?
Have you ever heard of IBB suffocating any governor or president?
Have you ever heard of IBB sleeping with anything that moves?

PoliticsRe: Tinubu: A Victim Or A Villain by BigB11(m): 5:59pm On Oct 03, 2011
Never mind Tinubu, who can tell us what exactly IBB stole and why he is not in Jail. It seems everyone including you see his wealth as ill-gotten but can you prove it. If the proof lies with the court and for lack of evidence he bestrides the affairs of Lagos as ACN God-father. at least the Court of Public Opinion still matters does it not? or are you saying it does not anymore
I keep telling you people that it's a total disrespect when you attempt to compare Tinubu to IBB. Can you point a figer to anything that belongs to IBB in this country or in any other countries?
Please stop comparing a mere hyena to aLION. The difference is clear; It can not be missed or matched
PoliticsRe: Tinubu & Fashola In Fresh War by BigB11(m): 8:18pm On Sep 30, 2011
Tinubu's real enemies are with his own party ACN. These folks within ACN party have been very quiet and powerless for sometime, I think now is the time. In the next few months Tinubu will be tackled like there is no tomorrow.

He has pushed his luck too far.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu & Fashola In Fresh War by BigB11(m): 6:20pm On Sep 30, 2011
If you pay attention to Tinubu's pictures while he was in the court room, you will notice that he was a bit arrogant, ignorant, unprofessional and finally mentally weak. As a leader of a political party, one would have expected him to comport himself a little bit better.
But these folks mostly feel that they are larger than the laws or Nigeria. A very disrespectful manner to the entire Nigerians and a despicable examples for the leaders of tomorrow. This same Ashiwaju would have comported himself much more better if he was in a court room in America for an ordinary traffic ticket.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu & Fashola In Fresh War by BigB11(m): 6:05pm On Sep 30, 2011
It isn't about vision, or getting result. It's about Ashiwaju stealing heavily in Lagos state.
Money that could be used to further develop Lagos State is being stolen on a daily basis by Ashiwaju.
Money that could be used to improve education standard in the state is being stolen openly by Ashiwaju
Money that could be used to promote medical system in the state is being stolen on a regular by Ashiwaju
Money that could be used to empower security in the state is being stolen boldly by Ashiwaju.

Lagos is getting there without any question, but things could be much more better for an average Lagosian only if Ashiwaju's wings are clipped.

The only 2 better roads in Lagos belong to Ashiwaju; one will take you to his house and the other one will take you to his hotels. Lagos doesn't belong to a man, the state belongs to Nigerians who work very hard day and night to make ends meet. It is time to stop people like Ashiwaju from constantly exploiting Lagosians and Lagos state.
There is no need and no room for 2 governors in Lagos state, enough is enough, Fashola must get his chance and be allowed to effectively and efficiently get his job done as the number 1 man of Lagos state.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu & Fashola In Fresh War by BigB11(m): 5:14pm On Sep 30, 2011
All Fashola needs to do is to change party.
FACT: For over 3 yrs now, Fashola has not been happy with Tinubu and his greedy ways.

It is also obvious that Lagosians and Nigerians in general (regardless of your party) have nothing but love and respect for Fashola. I believe Tinubu is starting to realize how strong Fashola has become. The problem here is, Fashola isn't ready to stop or sabotage his political career for a common thief like Tinubu.
The weaker Tinubu gets with fighting with PDP, the stronger Fashola gets in fully taking control of Lagos State. I think with time this is what is going to happen

Tinubu's problem is still within ACN party and with time it will be revealed.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu & Fashola In Fresh War by BigB11(m): 4:54pm On Sep 30, 2011

What does this got to do with IBB?
Believe it or not, Jonathan needs IBB more than anything else. IBB's greatest goal now is to sincerely assist to the best of his ability and make sure that things are restored to normal in Nigeria.
Don't disrespect IBB by comparing him to Tinubu.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu & Fashola In Fresh War by BigB11(m): 3:54pm On Sep 30, 2011

PoliticsRe: Salami Sacrificed To Instil Fear In Other Judges -Tinubu by BigB11(m): 2:14pm On Sep 30, 2011
If Tinubu has nothing to hide, then he shouldn't be worrying about who is being sacrificed and what is going on with the judges. He should stay focused on his case.
I think Ashiwaju is scared, he has finally started to realize what he's up against.
