Well said. I guess  the people that voted based on the name "goodluck" should suck it up and deal with it. Nigerians will never learn. The ridiculous excuses that i heard why they voted for   goodluck

- He was poor before never had a shoe till he was ten years Old,
- He is a christian
- He is educated
- He will be able to relate to ordinary Nigerian  etc

all these BS , see where the country is today. When are we going to demand from those who are seeking power to show us what plan they have to make the country better?  2012  no stable power , people  die daily from fever, typhoid etc  , no good roads , security is out of the question. All the GOODLUCK advocate make una enjoy the fresh air .
@Colonial:
It is very sad and extremely painful indeed.
At the beginning, I have only picked IBB as my choice simply because IBB's past record (good or bad) wouldn't have allowed him to fumble. He was determined to return only to correct all the things that were wrong, and I totally had confidence that he was for real and absolutely nothing was going to stop him from bring this country back from the dust.
After it was apparent that IBB was no longer contesting, I immediately moved to the next candidate that was strong and disciplined enough to make miracle happen in Nigeria quickly. And this individual was Buhari.
Buhari was also determined to work extremely hard for all Nigerians. Moreover, it was completely clear that Buhari was not good at everything, but one thing was certain, Buhari was our man to eradicate the 2 most powerful enemies (indiscipline and corruption) that have been killing this nation for the past 40 years.
With both eyes closed, even a day old baby was able to pick Buhari as our main man, but the incredible Nigerians were just simply too f00lish to get over themselves and think with their brains for the first time.
Buhari was so sincere and pretty much determined to do whatever it was going to take to lead this nation and make great things happen again; the man went ahead to pick a christian pastor as his running mate. But of course, this was not good enough for hopeless Nigerians.

Many other folks and myself here did everything and anything to enlighten Nigerians to spread the word that Goodluck wasn't strong enough to tackle all the black blood sucking vultures around. We fought for many months before the elections, to allow a real leader to lead this great nation. But Nigerians, who happened to be too smart for themselves refused to hear the word of wisdom.

Now that the country is on fire, these same f00ls are out like obsolete fashion crying for help. What a bunch of hopeless lunatics and the main problems of this wonderful country.
How could you motherfathers allow this to happen?

Again, I have no beef with Jonathan, but the 1diots, pin heads that came out in millions to support a basket with extra holes. Hello o o!!! You do not use basket to fetch water. It is impossible.

I hate to reveal to you folks that your best bet at this point is to simply pray for an intelligent, brave and committed military group to take over until Nigerians are smart enough to know how to elect a real leader. Let us hope that this military group will waste as many as possible criminals (politicians) and immediately lock up (the rest of) former governors/ leaders on bail until our weak constitutions are revised.

Anything else will simply be the same horrible stories from the past. Trust me!
Politics / Re: We’re Ready For Boko Haram -dokubo-asari by BigB11(m): 3:57am On Jan 04, 2012
Tell Dokubo Asari to keep quiet.
The difference between Boko Haram and Niger/Delta militant isn't that much.
The only difference is: Niger/Delta militant is a business, while Boko Haram is a non profit organization.
The two entities are enemies of progress, that we do not need in Nigeria.

Therefore, please tell Dokubo Asari to get lost and never finds is way back.
Politics / Blame Nobody But Yourselves, Nigerians! by BigB11(m): 3:43am On Jan 04, 2012
Many of us tried everything and anything to enlighten you folks, that Nigeria needed an experienced, charismatic, disciplined, powerful and knowledgeable leader at this very fragile moment, but you guys turned a deaf ear and elected an absolute basket as president. Now fetching water becomes impossible, and everybody is crying.
To be honest, I have no beef with our push-over president, as the dude meant no harm, but simply has no clue. My beef is with bright/intelligent Nigerians that refused to use their brains during the elections. How could you guys allow this to happen?
More than anything else, it was clearly predictable and pretty much written on the wall that Jonathan was weak and got absolutely nothing to offer, but noise makers from all angles wouldn't let us rest. Now that the fire is burning heavily, these f00ls are no where to be found.

Guys, I hate to reveal to you that this is just the beginning, ridiculousness is ahead and will be witnessed in action very soon.
You do not expect a fish to survive or to put up a good fight when its not in the water. Nigerians will have to pay for this mistake for the next 3.5 more years.
Therefore, hold on tight, the ride will be very rough.
cry  cry  cry  cry  cry  cry  cry  I cry for the innocent victims; the kids, the senior citizens and Mr. Nobody.
Politics / Ibb Speaks Against The Removal Of Fuel Subsidy by BigB11(m): 10:55pm On Jan 03, 2012
Deregulation Ill-timed

Former military president, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, has joined millions of Nigerians protesting against the removal of fuel subsidy by the Federal Government, saying that the action is ill-timed.

This came as hundreds of youths also took to the streets in Kano in a peaceful protest against the fuel subsidy removal.

Another group made up of students also showed their objection to the Federal Government’s action on the streets of Abeokuta, Ogun State Monday.

Babangida advised the government to seek political solution to the removal of the subsidy instead of the present economic solution. He also urged President Goodluck Jonathan to shun bad advisers and praise singers.

He argued that the Federal Government should have waited till April this year to allow for further consultation on the matter and to also allow the input of the National Assembly to make the removal of the fuel subsidy a participatory action.

In a statement signed by his media spokesman, Kassim Afeguba, titled: “State of the Nation”, Babangida said: “On the issue of fuel subsidy removal, it is my opinion that it is ill-timed. The issue of subsidy should be seen more as politics and not economics, because the sole purpose of government is for the good of the people and not to create hardship.

“It is better to seek political solution to the subsidy discourse than invoking the sentiments of economics. Government should have kept its word till April by which time better explanation would have been given before implementation takes effect.

“The National Assembly should have been made to be part of the decision-making process since the 2012 budget is yet to be discussed and passed by the Legislature.

“Every government should ordinarily take the interest of her people at heart so that the reason for its existence would be justified.”

According to him, “I will insist that a political solution be sought in resolving the issue so that a mutually agreeable position would be reached between the leaders and the people. This exclusive decision of the executive arm of government does not speak well of the tenets and principles of participatory and all-inclusive democracy.”

Babangida, who also blamed the crisis in the country on what he called failure of leadership at all levels, cautioned against taking actions that could result to war or further security challenges. He called for dialogue in resolving the present crises in the country.

The former military president said: “For those of us who have seen wars in different places and countries especially on account of our training and background, no nation pushes for war when there are several options to be taken.

“We must therefore engage in dialogue and wider consultations in our resolve to providing lasting solutions to the challenges facing us. All our religious leaders, political leaders, traditional rulers, opinion molders, the media, must unite to arrest this ugly phase of our political life.
“We must desist from name-calling, name-dropping and apportioning blame on anyone when faced with a challenge. Our capacity to live together must be demonstrated at all times so that the country can nurture its national objectives without equivocation. We must therefore share in the national aspiration and be more forthcoming in our anti-corruption crusade.

“As a former President for eight years and someone who survived eleven major crises in the country, both ethnic and religious, I can appreciate the enormity of the challenges facing Mr. President. I want to reassure Mr. President of my support, as I wish him a happy and prosperous new year.”

Meanwhile, the leader of the Kano protesters, Bala Hassan Garba, has given the Federal Government a 24-hour ultimatum to reverse the decision or face a shutdown of all the filing stations that accept the new pump price.

Garba said the decision by government to remove fuel subsidy at a time Nigerians were mourning the death of scores of bomb blast victims as well as grappling with “unprecedented” insecurity challenges across the country was not only “callous and insensitive”, but intended to “cause anarchy”.
The demonstration, which was peacefully staged at Sabon Titi, Mandawari and Tal’udu quarters of Gwale in Kano metropolis, also described the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of lacking the capacity to lead the country.

The youths also displayed different placards with the inscription: “No to subsidy removal”, and “Jonathan you want to kill Nigerians”, among others.

In Abeokuta, students under the aegis of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) also staged a peaceful protest along the major streets in the metropolis over the removal of fuel subsidy, calling on President Jonathan to immediately reverse the decision or face their wrath.

National Public Relations Officer (PRO) of NANS, who led the protest, Mr. Clement Olusegun, asked the Federal Government to reverse itself or face the wrath of the students.

The placards carried by the students had different inscriptions, including: “Return Fuel Subsidy Now”; “Mr. President I have no shoe, No to fuel Subsidy Removal”; “Petroleum subsidy removal: A hardship policy”; and “ASUU strike unresolved, why removal of fuel subsidy?”

According to Olusegun, the protest would continue in all the streets of the nation until the president rescinds his decision on fuel subsidy removal.

He said: “We are saying no to this anti-masses and anti-students policy of Mr. President by removing the subsidy; we want to tell the president that if the statement is not reversed, we will go to all streets in this country and we will make this country ungovernable for him.
“If Jonathan fails to reverse the increment, we will continue until he listens to the voice of the masses; we are even looking for ways to reduce the N65 now there is another increment

Leadership 101: You as a leader must not show any weakness under all circumstances.
Jonathan is a big f00l.
He must step down now.

To rule Nigeria you need stamina, experience, skills, education and a lion heart. Jonathan needs to be chased out of Aso rock. He is a great example of a failed leader.

You f00ls are full of sh1t.
Where were you when we were preaching and begging people not to vote for a dum dum?
This dude just didn't become the president, f00lish Nigerians bought the defective goods he and his wife were selling.

Shame on you all!!!
Politics / Re: Jonathan Weeps At Madalla Bomb Site by BigB11(m): 11:59pm On Jan 01, 2012
Goodluck Jonathan needs to step down and become a chemistry school teacher.
Things in Nigeria are in a very fragile state, the last thing we need is a bush man trying to learn how to become a leader, in charge.

Politics / Re: Chaos looms - Buhari by BigB11(m): 9:02pm On Dec 30, 2011
It all goes back to the failure of Tinubu to pull the trigger when it was important and very necessary,
A combo of ACN and CPC would have knocked off PDP and other criminals at all levels, but folks like Tinubu were too afraid and not so clean to allow a leader like Buhari to take over.

It is very sad how few powerful Nigerians clearly understand what needs to be done to move forward, but refuse to allow great things to happen to this great nation all because of self interest.

Everybody thinks of self and nothing else; what a hopeless group of people.

Whether we like it or not, nothing constructive will be witnessed on ground for the next 4 years and we have nobody else but ourselves to blame.
With all we've seen and dealt with for the past 12 years with PDP, how could any sensible human being pick Jonathan over Buhari?
What does it take for Nigerians to know that PDP has nothing to offer?
Politics / Re: Chaos looms - Buhari by BigB11(m): 2:34am On Dec 30, 2011
How can our votes count when we still have pin heads on this forum talking about how God has given us Goodluck to lead this nation?
It is totally despicable in this day and age that anyone still openly comes out to support this dum dum. It is ridiculous and makes me sick.

Of course, leadership is not for everybody, Jonathan is better off being a Chemistry professor and not a president.
He doesn't have the stamina, guts, experience or skills to effectively fight these vultures. And this is why we are here today with absolutely nothing done.

Nigeria missed out indeed.

Politics / Re: Chaos looms - Buhari by BigB11(m): 12:33am On Dec 30, 2011
When a country is full of f00ls who can not see behind their noses, there is no hope.
You can call him whatever you want, but Buhari remains very loyal to this nation and Nigerians more than any leader out there today.
Our problems in Nigeria are pretty much visible and solutions to these problems are even clearer, but the challenge we continue to face is being able to be smart and sincere enough to elect the right candidate.

Believe it or not, if it's up to Jonathan, the dude is ready to step aside. He is mentally and physically tired.
He knows more than anyone else that he doesn't have what it takes to move this country forward. He doesn't have the background, experience or skills to lead Nigeria at this time effectively and efficiently.

And the sad part of it all, is the fact that we all knew it, but still went ahead like f00ls to select a pot with a big hole.

Nigeria missed out indeed.

It did not take some Nigerians much to accurately predict the capabilities of our president.
We have ourselves to blame.
Politics / Re: Ibb's Health Troubles North by BigB11(m): 2:37am On Dec 21, 2011
Look guys, IBB is now 70 years old.
During his 70 years on this planet he was a president for over 8 years. He is blessed with 4 children and many grand kids. He currently operates several successful businesses and also happens to be very wealthy in many ways.
Today, more than half of Nigeria population still looks up to this wonderful human being and adores him like a priceless diamond.
Whether we accept it or not IBB remains a true leader, an incredible champion and a magnificent troubleshooter indeed.

My question for you haters is: Who among you folks will get to spend 70 years on this planet?

It is simply smart to be thankful, stay focused and allow God to do the judgment.
Don't be a fool.

Many of us may not realize the positive impact IBB brings to the table on a regular until he's no longer around.
The question most of us should be asking ourselves is: If IBB is as bad as a very few Nigerians claim, how come all the most powerful people not only in Nigeria, but also all over Africa are so addicted to this "EVIL" man?

I'm still waiting for president Goodluck Jonathan's turn to go and welcome his DADDY back into the country.

This post tells me how much you know about IBB.
Politics / Re: IBB Returns After Two Months Medical Trip Abroad by BigB11(m): 11:02pm On Dec 11, 2011
Who in Nigeria missed him while he was away?

President Goodluck Jonathan.
Politics / Re: IBB Returns After Two Months Medical Trip Abroad by BigB11(m): 10:54pm On Dec 11, 2011
If IBB was as bad as a few Nigerians claim on a regular, he wouldn't have received as many visitors as reported when he was in the hospital. It got to a point that there wasn't enough space at the hospital to accommodate all these visitors from all over the world; absolutely unbelievable.
How many visitors do you think would have visited German hospital if OBJ or Shagari or Gowon was the one in the hospital? Or how many visited Ojukwu in London?

Without any doubt, we are free to say whatever we want about IBB's past or presence, but something remains very clear, IBB will always be a 1 of a kind and an incredible entity for the rest of his life.

You can never be perfect even if you try, but no matter what you do, always think broadly and do your best to touch as many lives as possible. You will never regret it.

Mikeansy has finally realized my points for the past 5 years and the importance of IBB at this time to get our country back on track.
It makes me very sad whenever i think about how Nigerians got it wrong once again.

Can you guys just imagine IBB as our president today? What exactly would have been going on in Nigeria today?
To handle a tough country like Nigeria effectively and efficiently, you need a smart person, tough character with an enormous political stamina and unbelievable charisma. Real leadership experience and ability to bring people together will also help.
What we do not need in Nigeria at this time is a confused rookie president and an out of control first lady, that runs around embarrassing African women.

I think Mikeansy now completely understands that to catch a monkey you must also be willing to dance like a monkey. I think this is where all this IBB Zzaa is coming from. Absolutely nothing personal.

Politics / Waziri Is Gone, The Next Efcc Chairman Should Be Buhari Without Any Questions by BigB11(m): 9:34pm On Nov 23, 2011
Our problems in Nigeria are straight forward, and solutions to these problems are even simpler and absolutely manageable.
However, sentiments should be left aside, differences should be ignored or overcome and our focus should be on rescuing this nation from the hands of evil doers, that have capitalized on sucking the blood of this nation until the end of time.
We must come together as one to clearly understand our deficiency as a nation and embrace practicality in everything that we do.

The best thing Goodluck Jonathan could ever accomplish perfectly as the president of this country is to give Buhari the absolute authority to take control of EFCC operations for the next 4 years. This move will touch the lives of everyone of us in Nigeria.
It will be the best xmas gift, the necessary solution and the perfect way forward for Nigeria and Nigerians.

Anything else will be absolutely ineffective and inefficient (business as usual)
