Politics › Re: Most Corrupt Politician In Nigeria by BigB11(m): 1:41am On Jun 08, 2008
The most corrupt politician population = All Nigerians.
We are all responsible for corruption in our country; and till we realize this fact, corruption will continue to be canonized in Nigeria as the only way to make it to the top.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Hillary's Lateness To Make Speech To Accept Obama, A Disrespect/ An Ego Flexing by BigB11(m): 1:34am On Jun 08, 2008
Yes, she was late, but her speech was excellent.
Whether the speech is sincere or not, I think time will tell.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Is Hillary's Speech Sincere Or A Scene For Her Future Movie? by BigB11(op): 1:29am On Jun 08, 2008
It makes sense to pick Hillary, but Obama must be very careful doing so.
This time next year, I could just hear Hillary making this statement: "Obama needs to slow down and pay attention to some of my ideas, afterall I, Hillary put him in the white house"

This could really turn into OBJ vs ATIKU (round 2); and if this happens, Obama would be one frustrated president.
Foreign Affairs › Is Hillary's Speech Sincere Or A Scene For Her Future Movie? by BigB11(op): 6:48pm On Jun 07, 2008
It is crazy to despise someone just last week, and then fall in love with this same person this week; but it is absolutely feasible.

Is Hillary's speech sincere or a scene for her future movie?
Foreign Affairs › Mccain And Hillary Together For 2008? by BigB11(op): 8:16pm On Jun 06, 2008
McCain and Hillary for 2008 It sounds crazy , it looks retarded on the paper, but its very possible and might bring home the trophy for the republicans.
This is what I heard this morning; I was also told that this might be the main reason why Obama met with Hillary Clinton urgently last night.

I just wanted to put it out there for folks to analyze.
Politics › Re: Ribadu Could Have Been Our Obama In Nigeria! by BigB11(op): 5:12pm On Jun 05, 2008
Instead of building up and empowering EFCC as an organization that serves Nigeria as a nation, Mr. Ribadu was busy advertising and selling himself at a very discounted price. He wasted our money, our time and contributed toward tarnishing our great image as Nigerians all around the world with absolutely nothing accomplished.

All the folks he illegally and selectively harassed during his time as the EFCC chairman are all living better than ever today. So what's the point?
This man couldn't successfully close one single case or complete an operation. He was noisy, clumsy, unprofessional, unorganized and also ran around the world like an area boy with nothing to write home about.
With his XL defective ego, he truly thought he was on top of the world, but totally forgot all about tomorrow and neglected the obvious bigger picture.

Organization usually outlives human; therefore, it only makes sense for a responsible, sensible and sincere entity to focus more on empowering the organization for tomorrow.
If Ribadu was for real, he would have spent more of his time implementing firm protocols that would have empowered EFCC for many years to come.
But intentionally did not do so; instead, he empowered himself and his boss!
Politics › Re: Ribadu Could Have Been Our Obama In Nigeria! by BigB11(op): 2:08pm On Jun 05, 2008
For once, let us get out of the box and please do not mention OBJ.

Believe it or not, Ribadu happens to be a bright young man who (at some point) had the aptitude to take it to the next level and lead this nation, using the same exact slogan "CHANGE".
But it seems to me that My man (Ribadu) clearly traded this great opportunity for coins with bunch holes.

Therefore, it makes sense to compare the 2.
FYI: OBAMA intentionally started from the bottom a little bit over 10 years ago. With sincerity, honesty, integrity and clear vision, Barack Obama is few steps away from leading the greatest nation on earth.
Politics › Re: Waziri's Appointment Confirmed! by BigB11(m): 1:53pm On Jun 05, 2008
Ribadu also had the audacity to interrogate IBB's son regarding Globacom's shares
Sweet heart, have you asked the same Ribadu to reveal or explain the out come of the investigation regarding this interrogation?

If we want Nigeria to move forward effectively, it is important for us to quickly identify incompetency and make necessary adjustment.
Removing Ribadu still remains one of the brightest things this current administration has done.

Ibori is not going anywhere; let's allow justice to prevail. ,
Politics › Re: Ribadu Could Have Been Our Obama In Nigeria! by BigB11(op): 1:42pm On Jun 05, 2008
First, I will like to inform you that you do not admire Ribadu like I did.
Ribadu is kicking himself today because he knew what was right from what was wrong, but took a stupid chance and allowed himself to be used as an ordinary mop.

My friend, do you know what happens to a mop that later becomes dirty, brittle and useless?
Politics › Re: Waziri's Appointment Confirmed! by BigB11(m): 12:52pm On Jun 05, 2008
I think she will do fine.
Politics › Re: Ribadu Could Have Been Our Obama In Nigeria! by BigB11(op): 12:43pm On Jun 05, 2008
Now, hope you can understand why both Obama and Ribadu made history in their respective fields of play.
There is a big difference between making history and making fool of oneself!
Politics › Re: Ribadu Could Have Been Our Obama In Nigeria! by BigB11(op): 4:28pm On Jun 04, 2008
I don't think Ribadu's supporters understand these facts. They tend to see things differently and continue to denial his incompetency, insincerity and improbity.

He had the opportunity, an enormous advantage and a complete support of Nigerians to take it to the next level, but he wasn't smart enough to discover the bigger picture when it would have counted the most.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Mccain Is Trying Hard To Get Hillary's Supporters by BigB11(op): 4:08pm On Jun 04, 2008
Infact, McCain has also already started to use Obama's slogan "change". I guess, it is true that if you can't catch him you must join him.
But I'm sure that this strategy will absolutely backfire. The man is too damn old to be singing song that has the word "change".

It is impossible to teach an old dog (old soldier) to change his ways.
Politics › Ribadu Could Have Been Our Obama In Nigeria! by BigB11(op): 1:02pm On Jun 04, 2008
‘Why Ribadu will never come close to power ever again'

Pro democracy Activists under the aegis of Coalition for Democracy and Rule of Law, (CODERL), the Youth Vigil for Democracy, (YVD) and PRONACO Action Groups have raised alarm over what they called “the sinister and desperate schemes to reinstall the discredited regime of Obasanjo hatchet men at the EFCC.”

The groups in a joint statement on Tuesday alleged that the renewed effort is currently being championed by some members of the dislodged cartel at EFCC, who are desperate to have Ribadu return as chairman of the commission at all cost so as not to lose their juicy patronage.

Speaking on behalf of the civil society platforms, Alhaji Shettima Yerima in Lagos the leader of PRONACO Action Groups said: “We have uncovered the renewed dastardly schemes of these desperadoes operating in the media under the garb of anti corruption activism and we are determined to resist their schemes and propaganda to the last. ”

They said the cartel of anti corruption activists bungled their goodwill, the moment their benefactor allowed the EFCC to be used for advancing the third term plot of General Obasanjo and that no amount of sponsored media propaganda of Ribadu’s so called popularity and volte face can redeem their stewardship at the EFCC.

“We are no kids in this business anymore. We are aware of all the deals and plots to control the EFCC at all cost by this clique using flimsy procedural points to blackmail the emergence of a new order at the EFCC but they cannot eat their cake and have it. So the game is up for them,” Yerima declared
In a related development the spokesperson of PRONACO, Mr Wale Okunniyi has said that the whole talk about the Ribadu still being chairman of EFCC by the Chairman of the Campaign for Democracy, (CD) Mrs Joe Odumakin is preposterous and infantile. He said he is perturbed that having messed up the anti- graft crusade, marauders can still be employed to shamelessly discredit the confirmation of the appointment of a more qualified replacement.

“What the war against graft needs is a fresh and competent leadership at the EFCC not the discredited gestapo bullies of the elongation plot. We don’t have to know Waziri to say the truth, we have been on this same critique of the EFCC since 2006 when it became clear that the EFCC was merely beating enemies of Obasanjo’s hidden plot into line. Our various statements in the media since 2006 are clear testimonies of this fact.

We are also aware that Obasanjo surreptitiously instigated the romance between some activists and the leadership of the EFCC to clip any negative activism against the EFCC third term operations unknown to most hoodwink consultants of the EFCC. So nobody can accuse us of being deployed to engage the EFCC, ” Okunniyi reiterated.

Foreign Affairs › Mccain Is Trying Hard To Get Hillary's Supporters by BigB11(op): 11:27pm On Jun 03, 2008
McCain has already started to indirectly sweet talk  Hillary's supporters by giving complimentary speech about the sore loser, Hillary Clinton.

It is important to keep in mind that Hillary's supporters are very simple minded (slow) and it wouldn't take much to brainwash this group of people. Obama must come up with his strategy as soon as possible.

how can we forget the white hardworking class statement.
her berrating MLK importance
used osama bin laden

praised McCain above obama
negative politics so self centred.

and making no apologies to obama on the assasination statement
no recognition of the impact of the statements to obama or african americans

NO BIG BI WE CANNOT FORGET
Good point, but we must keep in mind that the votes of the red necks are needed badly to accomplish the real deal in November.
I must admit, I hate the woman, but she is also needed to bring home the trophy; hence, I see nothing wrong with using the vulture against her own people.

If she is VP, obama may die after the election.
I can guarantee you that if anything happens to Obama as the president of United States, the result would be an uncontrollable down fall of the great country.

no way we cannot forget. i don't care if obama enters the white house(i don't expect him to) all i want is the end of the road for the crooks. . . clintons. they are racists, sore loosers, bitter, vile and terribble human beings. obama has exposed the real clintons and what they take black people for. if obama accepts her(a greek gift) he will be signing his death warrant.
I see your point and I'm absolutely with you, but studying Obama's unique personality, I wouldn't be surprised if she is picked as his running mate.

It has been confirmed by a New York Law maker that Hillary is very open to be Barack Obama's running mate.

It has been confirmed by MSNBC that Hillary, Bill and Chesey will be seen campaigning vigorously for Barack Obama, because they (the Clintons (De Evil ones) ) do not want to be known as the ones who stood in the way of the first African American president.

Oh well, folks, the ceremony is about to begin.

I say, let's take it, forgive the Clintons and move forward!

A whiteman made this statement few weeks ago:

" Obama is the real deal, People need to wake up and quickly realize this fact; afterall, Obama's mother was white and he was also raised by his grandmother, who was also white. Therefore, Obama is pretty much white than anything else"

@jama:
I did not know that you beat me to this incredible news.
I guess, it doesn't matter; for this victory, I think Obama deserves 10 topics.

They said Clinton plans to claim she has won the popular vote, and is working up a victory-type speech for her address in New York City.
Hillary is a sick woman.

AP tally: Obama effectively clinches nomination 20 minutes ago 06/03/08

WASHINGTON - Barack Obama has effectively clinched the Democratic presidential nomination, based on an Associated Press tally of convention delegates.

The tally put Obama over the top Tuesday, ahead of the results from the day's final primaries in Montana and South Dakota. The Illinois senator becomes the first black candidate ever to lead his party into a fall campaign for the White House. Obama outlasted former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton in a historic contest and now faces Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona for the presidency.

Politics › Re: Regular Power Supply; Can We Wait Till 2008? by BigB11(m): 7:00pm On Jun 02, 2008
If, and I say If, he is unable to complete his plan by 2011, what stops the next man from scrapping his own plan and taking us all on the same roller-coaster ride we are on now?? At what point do we then realize that the office of the president is not supposed to be in charge of such a projecthuh
Poor power supply being one of the most apparent deficiencies of Nigeria as a nation and also one of the gigantic failure of the previous admin, I think it is absolutely sensible for this current admin not only to handle the project (as business as usual), but also to oversee every single segment of this project step by step, during and after the completion.
It doesn't matter if it takes 100 years to complete the project; this is why we have a process called "Turn-over" during the transformation or transferring of power between 2 regimes.
This is a common and inevitable process that all responsible nations take very serious.

We just need to discourage this WURUWURU shortcut mentality, embrace the right way of doing things and allow this president to serve this nation effectively.
Politics › Re: Regular Power Supply; Can We Wait Till 2008? by BigB11(m): 6:22pm On Jun 02, 2008
WHAT GOVT OUGHT TO HAVE DONE IS TO REVIEW AND STILL GO AHEAD WITH THE PRIVITIZATION PROGRAM
I may be wrong.

I think the idea of Privatizing power supply sector in Nigeria was dissolved because of the dregs from previous admin that are still lingering around in Nigeria today.
As much as I was pulling for privatization, I think dissolving it for now is the right move.
Politics › Re: Regular Power Supply; Can We Wait Till 2008? by BigB11(m): 5:32pm On Jun 02, 2008
Yes, we can wait!

First step: We must identify an effective tool to vigorously fight corruption in Nigeria

Second step: We must empower our leadership skill and enlighten our mentality as Nigerians.

If steps 1 and 2 are successfully accomplished, then we could focus all our attention on improving infrastructure, power supply or water supply.

But we must keep in mind that without a clear accomplishment of steps1 and 2, we would continue to fool ourselves for many years to come and our people will forever live in the darkness.
And infact, these are the steps OBJ failed to follow during his era and the main reason why his leadership took us back 15 years.
Simultaneously we must embrace honesty and have patience .

Therefore, I admire the integrity, sincerity and intelligence of our president, President Yar'Adua.
A long term favorable out-come requires time, sacrifice and endurance; it makes absolutely no sense to rush into another unpredictable situation as we've done in the past; let's give time a chance to tell.

I think we are on the right track.

Politics › Re: Expect Exciting Times, Yar'adua Tells Nigerians - Independent by BigB11(m): 3:15am On May 31, 2008
Again, our problem in Nigeria is purely "CORRUPTION"

Advise for Yar'Adua:

As a president of Nigeria, I wouldn't waste my time on restoring the infrastructure or water supply or power supply or creating job opportunities (these are simply not my priority).
95% of my attention would directly go into ratifying corruption all together, once and for all in Nigeria.

Corruption is the king and till the king is killed and buried, absolutely nothing would hold water in Nigeria; hence, no need to waste time running around promising wonders. It just wouldn't happen. We must focus all our attention on modifying our constitution, so that the execution of the convicted corrupt individuals could be immediately allowed.

As soon as an effective strategy to ratify corruption is in place, I promise you that all other things (water supply, power supply, jobs and better economy)would automatically come together in place. And the birth of New Nigeria would be witnessed by all.

I truly do not understand what it's taking these leaders this long to discover and understand this fact.
