Good question you asked about after independence - all the things Nigerians are doing after independence to themselves like looting is not as a result of colonialism.

We have been hearing stories of racism in the United States recently and China was recently maltreating Africans - lots of Indian and Chinese business owners maltreat Nigerians here in Nigeria - even Trump openly disrespects Africans.

Colonialism was achieved by force.

Initially, slave trade was achieved by cunning on their part and greed on our part and eventually, force on their own part.

Either way, the resultant effects continue to live with us till today.

Even if it was by force, it shows the blacks had zero planning - they could not build an armed forces - and the fact that every single black african country was colonized and no black african country e.g. morocco was able to colonize italy shows blacks were docile!

Racism is rooted in the days of slave trade and colonialism.

There was a time the Asians were further below the blacks in the food chain.

blacks could not use their stuffs.

Let me explain .During this time, the blacks were living in the dark age. They didn't know who the whites were not to talk of traveling there. They were on their own ohh.
