Jobs/VacanciesLet's Put An End To This Ugly Trend by BigBossMan(op): 7:33pm On Feb 22, 2015
Hello everyone.
The 2015 election affords all Nigerians the opportunity to address issues especially at a time such as this, when politicians are at their best behaviour.
This ugly trend of paying to apply for job openings in government parastatal must stop! Though it did not start in GEJ administration, it must not continue in the next administration.

Let your voices be heard.

EducationUniben Boils Over Demolished Property By Edo State Government by BigBossMan(op): 9:13pm On Jan 06, 2015
Lecturers and students of the University of Benin today shut down the Benin-Lagos expressway in protest of the demolition of some buildings belonging to the university by the Edo State government.

The protesters, who carried placards, condemned in strong terms the action of the state government, which they described as barbaric and a slap on the principle of rule of law

PoliticsRe: Why Salaries Of Some Civil Servants Are Delayed – FG by BigBossMan(m): 1:18pm On Dec 20, 2014
MudRaker:
Trade Unions in Nigeria are composed of the most desperate and corrupt men.

The fact is that this current administration is the best so far when it comes to paying salaries on or before the 25th of every month.

I know this first hand. The IPIS system is the best to curtail ghost workers, salary diversions and delays.

Just go to the APC states especially in the SW. They owe without human conscience.

It is these same APC SW governors who claim progressives but were opposed to implement minimum wage rates and pay pensioners alongside adopt the PENCOM act.

Nigerians are daft.
You, your family and the people you are trying to cover - up for are the daft ones.

Hmmm this made me speechless... Well, I went to church today looking lovelier than ever(I know it) cos I could feel eyes on me. During offering time in my church, two queues were usually made...one for going and the other for coming back. Well, I just finished putting my offering and was going back when I saw this guy that has been asking me out for months now, on the other queue... He smiled and I smiled back cos I'm usually very friendly on sundays. But the smile didn't end there..he left his queue and started approaching mine, and I was like...what is wrong with this guy? Eyes were already devouring me. He got to me and told me..''you look very beautiful'' in the presence of everyone, and they were like..huh? Well, I felt so lovely and ended up giving him a big grin. And I allowed him to walk me home, hehehe.
So guys, can you do this in church? And ladies have you experienced something like this before?
It feels good to be appreciated especially for a ( BEAUTIFUL) lady. There's nothing wrong with what transpired.
Live your life!
Life is damn beautiful!

Is that their platinum card fragile or it's just me? The chip keeps getting peeled off in my wallet, I just got my 3rd one this year meanwhile my other cards have stayed years without replacement.

Also how do you access corporate credit with Diamond? I opened an account with them few months back but haven't really looked into that.

YOU NEED A NEW BANK!
I STARTED BANKING WITH STB/UBA BEFORE I ENTERED THE UNIVERSITY, DURING MY UNDERGARDUATE YEARS I USE GTB- THY WERE VERY EFFICIENT USEFUL TO ME. DURING MY NYSC DAYS I USED SKYE BANK- ALSO VERY USEFUL BACK THEN.
AFTER MY NYSC I HAVE ADDED ZENITH BANK, OCEANIC/ECOBANK, STERLING BANK, FIRST BANK, THEY ARE ALL GOOD AND THEY SERVE THEIR PURPOSES IN ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. HOWEVER, IN THE LAST TEN YEARS I HAVE OPERATED GTB THE MOST AND I AM A PLATINUM CARD HOLDER.
IN 2013, I OPENED A DIAMOND BANK ACCOUNT AND IN A FEW DAYS TIME THE ACCOUNT WILL BE ONE YEAR OLD. SO FAR SO GOOD, DIAMOND BANK HAS BEEN THE BEST OF ALL BECAUSE OF EASY ACCESS TO CREDIT!
I USE TO PRAISE GTB A LOT BUT NOW I KNOW THAT DIAMOND IS THE BEST BANK IN IN NIGERIA (IMHO)

whereas my wife (then my fiancee) paid N5 at a time to make up a round figure account balance. we went together to pay in N20 but the over-sabi cashier annoyed us so we decided to pay in the lowest denomination possible just to get back at the cashier. we also tongue-lashed the bank and the cashier cos the bank was charging all sorts of unreasonable charges!

BusinessImagine A Pipeline Carrying BEER. by BigBossMan(op): 9:37pm On Sep 29, 2014
I just saw this online so I decided to share.

Belgian brewery plans beer pipeline. Residents pray for spill.

By Jim Meyer

29 Sep 2014 2:08 PM

A new pipeline project planned for the Belgian city of Bruges has locals all in an uproar. The risky plan would deliver beer from the De Halve Maan Brewery across town to the company’s bottling plant. Supporters point out that the pipeline could cut truck traffic through the city, and claim that the social lubricant is vital to modern Belgian society. Without it, they say, the country’s thriving beard and mustache growing industry would come to a screeching halt.

Protestors, meanwhile, fear a pipeline failure could inundate previously sober areas with the delicious and joy-producing malted beverage. Or they would, we imagine, if there were any. This is Bruges. Just ask the mayor or sit in on a PTA meeting: There are no sober areas.

Here’s more from Agence France-Presse:

The two-mile underground pipeline will link the De Halve Maan brewery in the heart of the “Venice of the North” to an industrial park where the beer will be bottled and shipped to drinkers worldwide, company director Xavier Vanneste said.

“The idea is born of environmental and quality of life concerns, and not economic ones,” he said.

Once fully approved and constructed, the pipeline will keep 500 trucks out of the city’s cobblestoned alleys every year, about 85 percent of the town’s lorry traffic.

For bonus points, the pipeline, which will move 6,000 liters of beer per hour, will be built with the preservation of the historic area in mind. AFP reports that “to avoid harming the city’s gothic facades and medieval belfry, pipeline construction will use some of the latest technologies perfected for the transport of oil and gas.”

Beer has been brewed on the site of the De Halve Maan Brewery for nearly five centuries, with only one massive spill, but the impact on local wildlife was limited toa single bear getting very, very drunk. At the time of this writing it is still unknown who, if anyone, the bear drunkenly texted.

Cyber cafe is truly and really dead. Carpentry is only dying in the hands of those that refused to embrace technology.
Authoring is quite challenging but cannot die.
And so on!
