I'll go first, Two occasions:
1) We were having a group session that day while I was still in Uni, And a girl told me because I'm fat, my pri*k is going to be small. (I wish there was an inner room inside that lecture hall.) Turns out that's what a lot of women think.

2)I can't forget how that man looked at me when I volunteered to join their paramilitary organization.
Shit. I had the do 20 push ups to shut him up.

When was the last time you had a clear cut-out spotless and radiant face?
Well for most people, that'd be 5 or 10 years ago.

Here are some helpful tips that might help:
-1]] Wash your face at least 2 times a day.
-2]] Be personal about your personal hygiene.
- Get Rid of antiseptics- hard to accept? I know. but antiseptics contributes to rashes on your face.
While I'm not sure how to explain this but it goes something like this..
Your face gets so used to it that it no longer kills germs but start reacting on your body.
-3]] Try herbal/ natural products
-4]] Avoid unnecessary stress
-5]] Eat healthy-

By this I mean you should avoid oily foods or fatty meals as much as you can.
But not just fatty foods but junks too. Switch from junks to heathy meals like fruits and vegetables

BUT what no one talks about is Why they're able to make so much, value. That's just it.

You say you don't have money to go to shows?
Watch movies, play video games, play ludo, worth... Anything just remain happy and enjoy yourself.
4]Lose Weight:
Being fit gives an edge over 80% of your problems.
A fit body houses a fit mind. And with a fit mind comes clarity.
If you can think clarely in difficult situations less of life's problems will be such a budden to you.
And it no longer requires much sacrifice to keep fit. Just a handful of things a day can keep you healthy for a life time. In four words' eat less, Exercise more.

Trying to lose weight has consumed a larger part of my mind these past years.

I could remember when I wanted to join a paramilitary club, Man O War and the instructor looked at me and said: "are you sure you can do this like this."
I was annoyed, I had to do 20 push up to prove myself.

That's just one of the many cenerios where being fat almost shenked me.

So after trying several weighloss Technique and looking for what works. I have come to this audacious conclusion that...

The only way to lose weight is to have a complete lifestyle switch.

Here's why:
Almost 90% of people who lose weight by a magic Diet, magic pill, strenous Exercises end up getting back their weight under 3 months. The lucky ones? 1 year.
What's the use then. Why jam myself so hard in the gym only to become fat again.
So resorted to the only thing that's comfortable for me to do: modifying my meals and eating healthy.
And I wouldn't be writing about this if it was about eating some foreign sushi, almond seed, or whatever leaves that suck the light out of me.
No, I eat my local Nigerian diet easy to find and affordable to purchase. No need to go broke trying to lose weight abi na.

Here are some of my meals:

1) Moimoi:
I eat it alone and sometimes with baked pap.
2) Ekuru;
This is another food from beans. Just like moi moi, you can enjoy it with pap, gari or wheat bread.
4) Potatoes portage:
If you know how to prepare this thing very well eh, you will never eat yam portage again.
5) Wheat and okra or ewedu:
Wheat is high in fiber so is okra. And Working together, both of them will flush that stomach and wipe it clean. I prefer to take this at lunch.
5) Plantain Portage:
Another mad meal that beats yam portage hands down.
I'm not sure which one tastes best between Plantain and potatoes portage
6) Chicken and scrambled egg:
Instead of frying your egg try scrambling it instead and enjoy it with chicken.
Oh, remove the outer skin from your chicken before you eat.
7) Local/ Ofada Rice with Vegetables And Chicken;
I don't think I need to explain how tasty this is to you haha.
But there's a clause, don't ngo and fill your plate with too much rice like a hungry egbira man (No offence to the Egbiras reading oo). It won't work like that.
Instead divide your plate into three 50% vegitable, 25% protein (your chicken, I'm sure you like the sound of that, shior πŸ₯΄ FFO) and 25% rice. Do it like that and you're good.

Actually these are just of the few healthy food combination that helps me keep my weight under control.
If you're just like who loves to snack a lot. try eating either tiger nut, walnuts, cashew nut, sesame seeds, occasionally groundnut and date.

I just can't stop wondering.

The results of the election was obviously tight.

With Tinubu coming first with 8million votes
Atiku and Peter Obi coming second an third.

The results were obviously tight.

And I understand if Tinubu is convicted fo his crime records and certificate forgery (if Proven).

But I can't understand why people keep saying he rigged the election.

Like I don't understand.

Were you expecting the ruling party to grab less than 8 million votes??

Is it possible to lose weight while eating high carbs diet?

A lot of experts advise against eating high carb diets.

I've tried eradicating carbs just to lose weight in Nigeria. However I failed woefully.

Not because I didn't lose weight, I did but soon enough I hurried back to it.

And it's been the same for a lot of people I've talked too.

In short, most people who try to give up carbs end up going back to it.

However that's just the half truth. Here's the whole truth no one is talking about.


Eating carbohydrates (like rice, bread, and pasta) might be helpful for weight loss.


But, you need to be careful with the amount you eat. Plus add a few things to it.

Here are a few tips:

1) Choose healthier carbs like whole grains, fruits, and vegetables instead of sugary foods.

2) Include proteins (like chicken or beans) and good fats (like avocados or nuts) in your meals.

I used to be a plum boy struggling with weight loss.


But a simple discovery changed things completely...


But I won't forget...


Growing up with friends who run their mouths about my appearance.


Which can be very annoying. Those boys and girls were kids back then. So that's not the point of this article.

And all of that wahala that leaves a lot of people eating rabbit food all year.


Even though all these Oyinbo "addduvvaises" might help (in the short term.) It's hard to keep up with them on the long run.


And here's where it gets bad...


Because the moment you stop keeping up with these rules? Weight pops up again. And this time around real fast and double.


And this stage a lot of people simply give uo.


That's where you hear things like "I love the way I am" etc.


But deeply we know we would love to have a better shape.


Hmm, it's well.


But you really don't have to go through that.


And you won't when you hear my "quick fix"


Here's how it works.


Instead of following Strict rules that makes you too self-conscious or uncomfortable..


You simply:

EAT FIBER-RICH FOODS


cool, right?


With this quick fix...


I didn't have to stress about cutting out my favourite food, as that would only make me uncomfortable.


So I simply eat high fibre diets and leave it at that.


here's why this works:


Fiber-rich foods make you full for a long time and aid quick digestion.


So naturally, without much effort to cut down on my favourite junks, there's simply no room to feed on junks.

β€’ banana
β€’ carrot
β€’ Cereals
