It's actually the strongest ID in the country right now... It's difficult to acquire due to the stress but it's very important

The term "compulsory" may have different meanings and implications in different countries.

Backend has nothing to do with codes, but interactions. It handles the request. In your ATM scenario case, backend developers are the bridge between your card issuer, and your bank e.g, backend job is to read the data on the card, translate it to what has been requested, and provide the funds. It also handles pin verification, as well as match the info on card to account owner. Those are some of the Jobs being handled by backend, not some written codes as done in frontend.

I am not interested in cybersecurity but if I had interests there I would learn, read and write the exams as the certifications are valued worldwide. I can be in Nigeria and get jobs in the UK as a cybersecurity expert. However a lot of people think watching one ethical hacking course on udemy is enough to make them an expert .

My interest is in being a Salesforce developer and all Salesforce developer jobs always require the platform developer one and platform developer two certifications so I am learning them and also prepping to get certified in both.

Even in web development there are aspects to it where certifications are valued. Things like SAP, Microsoft dynamics, Magento and co.

He just showed what he knew. I see a lot of cyber security jobs but they always list some very key certifications which are not easy to get.
