Government no send naa..my mum was paid for an extra 6 months after she retired,she wasn't in d country then,wen she came came back she headed for Abuja to return d money and ask d relevant ministry to stop d payment,the pple at d IPPS office and d ministry were just bent on frustrating her efforts,they wanted her to foolishly hand d money to them,but she refused..she insisted on due process,she then got linked up with a very senior CBN official who took up the matter and cleared d hurdles which enabled her to return d money properly...we spent two days in Abuja to get it fixed....I remember some civil servants abusing her for her honesty not until she came out of her shell,tongue lashed them and threatened to report them to d accountant general of the Fed for carelessly paying someone who had retired.. They feared for their jobs and began to apologise ..it was then that I knew Nigeria is finished...if u decide to be honest u would be considered an alien.. It pays to be honest whatever tho...

Yeah..same with me...They charged me 46 naira for SMS. .despite doing transaction just once on that account in one month....meaning one SMS costs 46 naira..I don leave their matter for God hand jare...

U deserve a basket of tomatoes for this....UK have no natural resources(correct me if I am wrong pls) but remains one of the richest countries in the world due to their taxing system..only if our past leaders had done the needful to look away from crude oil,then our economy would have been competing with the likes of Japan and China..don't know the sins we have committed as Nigerians for us to have been cursed with the terrible and useless leaders we had in times past...I refuse to give up tho..May God help us..

Op i feel what you are going through . Its really sad , and so touching your mum didnt even play her role of a mother to you. Possibly your looks remind her of your dad but its never your fault in whichever way u look.
In God's eyes u are created in his image and with God's love.
Then pertainin to your dad? How would u feel if your dad , after searching for him but refuses to acknowledge u as his son and worse off, refuse to allow his immediate family and wife know that he has a son somewhere, from a relationship in his past.
I say this because, i have an aunt shes the first child of my late mum elder sis. Way back during the civil war, so they said o.. My mum elder sis was in a short relationship with her a man, her dad. Immediately she got pregnant, he denied responsibility and dissappeared into thin air. She then gave birth to my aunt and transffered the child to granny , who took care of her . While my mum sis came to lagos, to start a new life
She got married to a different man, she had five kids for her new husband.. She left my aunt with granny for so many years. Until aunty became an adult, granny told her , her real mum is in lagos. She was heartbroken but she then came to lagos to meet my mum sis, her real mother.
My mum sis was not happy seeing come into her matrimonial home that she has been maintaining for years. But she had to choice than to answer her question. Which is who is my dad and where is he?
My mum sis gave her , after much confrontations, the dad's name and where he stays but warnes her , she may not like the reception she will receive there. She said no problem., as long as hes her dad, he wont be heartless like her .
She went to the address . The secuirity guards at her father's gate asked her who is she looking for? She called her dad's full name.. They asked her, is she on appointment cause he rarely sees strangers without appointments.. She said no appointment but its urgent and life threathening she sees him.
They told her to leave the gate and the premises.. In the midst of arguements, her dad came out, hes a rich old man.. He asked whats the problem, why the noise? She quickly rushed to meet and said shes the daughter of , she mentioned her mother's name and that shes his child way back then.
The way he dragged her to the gate roughly and he snapped at her .. Look i dont know yohr mum or whatever name u called.. So u want to ruin my home right? Thats how u girls without ambition go around looking for rich men to fleece. If u love yur life, i dont want to ever see u here again! What rubbish! Daughter indeed.. Secuirty pls take this lady out of here .. And i dont want to ever see her here again.. Orelse your jobs are over.. My aunt was so stunned as she dragged out of his compound, she cried till she came to.my mum's house to complain and share her pain.. We all felt for her but she has to move on.
Mother does not want her, likewise dad too.. She stayed with us for a while. Before she made up her and relocated to the north to start a new life, away from everyone.
So my dear op, its tough but why stress yourself much on searching for yur dad. If yur dad wants u ,he will search for u all these years.
Be closer to God, He will care for you more than what u can ever imagine.
Relocate from yur area after graduating. God will see u through.
Am an orphan but God is taking good care of me, so well.. That i lack nothing, except my parents love and guidiance when they were still alive.. God bless them.
AFter their deaths, i relocated .. A new life , a new begining... And new friends.
Do the same, hold onto God and see if your past will not be buried as one of those pasts.

This true life story almost put a tear to my eyes..Where did we lose it? The sympathy, the love, the kindness, humanity?....I hope her strength and even urs will inspire the world one day...cheers.

No one person or tribe destroyed Nigeria.This country was damaged collectively by the Hausas,Igbos,Yorubas,Ijaws,Itsekiris...etc...Buhari isn't the reason we are facing hard times in the country,Buhari isn't the reason the refineries are down,Buhari isn't the reason for the global drop in crude oil price,He is not the reason why we aren't running a diversified economy,he is not the reason why pension funds are stolen without impunity,he is not the reason for the oil spillage and wanton land destruction in d south south region,he is is not d reason why our education sector is near a collapsed state..where am I driving at?? my people, our leaders of times past have failed us..but we must realise that no country can experience a positive turnaround in d face of hatred, violence and destruction,we should give peace a chance and see if Buhari can turn things around.He is our president,whether we like him or not,as good citizens,d least we can do is to support him...2019 isn't far..if he fails, we can boot him out to Daura...Remember, war can never determine who is right,only who is left...Cheers.

I finished as far back as 2010..and anatomy wasn't dere then so can't speak much on that...I heard some new courses have been introduced tho.....but generally speaking, it is kinda a tough school considering d fact that u'll hav to do so many compulsory unrelated general courses like mechanical engineering drawing, crop science,mathematics,computer and many more in ur first 2 years.. but trust me,if u r hard working,u'll pull through...

Wow..I don't even know how I survived on 5k per month for d 5 years I spent in FUTA.I do remember the food magic tho. (50 naira Bread +30 naira beans at SUB almost every morning then 40 naira fufu/eba "without" at night in chapters..That's roughly 3400 per month on food,the remaining 1600 was for photocopies n airtime(browsing was via cheat codes )and sometimes i even save some change at d end of the month...I never ever begged for food cos i dont even feel comfortable eating people's food...God surely knows how to take care of his own..it all boils down to management and prioritising at the end of the day while putting at the back of ur mind the kind of family u coming from ...op seems to have found a balance and ways to survive within his means...That's most important and commendable..
