am not quoting any act, what am saying is that if there is non, there suppose to be a board under this corruption fighting administration to checkmate excesses of individuals in awarding contracts. there is even a board under NNPC, of what purpose is it, if one of its purposes is not to checkmate contracts, only trivial things, then it is useless. after all they are the ones that unbundled NNPC

am not the one that asked them to use corruption as a campaign tool. so the chicken has come to roost let them practicalise it
if it there is no act like that to checkmate contracts, then it is an indictment on this corruption fighting regime

Is there going to be a second Spanish Civil War? Or will Madrid respect the wish of the Catalans?
I blame the Spanish prime minister, Rajoy, for this, the Catalans even suspended it and was wishing for a discussion, but he was busy forming macho man. now its too late, its either they go into battle , waste precious lives of soldiers and civilians, destroy properties, have economic setback and then finally they will go into round table talk which they earlier avoided. rubbish

leave our oil alone in all the old south east and see whether we will still come to Abuja to share our own money

Lol, where the pain? Tell us why una governors dey queue for abuja every month despite all these chest beating of being rich? I hope you know your state and Borno dey compete in terms of igr. Oya, continue boasting with another epistle. grin grin grin
the governors are queuing in Abuja because the fed govt/northern designed constitution says so. and u all know we don't like it that's why are want an end to it, because we know we can stand on our own academically, economically, growth wise.
but u know that ur people are against restructuring and regionalization which will stop all this Abuja money sharing

but why is ur people the only ones that love one Nigeria more than us , why?

we have low IGR, that's why we want to leave u people alone to go and enjoy ur high IGR. but no, una go send soldiers that are ready to spill blood to stop us from going to suffer our selves as if our suffering with low IGR concern you. and yet come here to yab us . why cant u people try to get ur own country with high IGR and enjoy alone. but no u wouldn't do it because u know u are benefitting too much from us: academically and economically. parasites.
leave us alone let us go and suffer -- e no concern u

btw, its money from the south that u people are even sharing in Abuja , so its u I suppose ask why u are sharing from money that ur backward behaviours didn't allow u to contribute to

Violent, backward, barren and unproductive, yet they are still in thes places doing business rather than in their "productive" states despite quit notice.
IPOB terrorists are brainless donkeys
1.violent ! how? is it not ur place that when people are posted for NYSC, they will start scheming for redeployment bc of ur inherent violence

2.backward !! how? is it academically or what. which region does the UN recognize as the most poverty ravaged and backward region. even Nigeria recognized u people through the practice of quota system, federal character, and only recently jamb cut off to 120 just to accommodate ur deficiencies

3. barren !!! how? but we have at least one cup of oil that can sustain our region that ur region don't have and have been searching all over the dry land since 100yrs, at least imo and abia belong to NDDC even if its one cup

4.unproductive !!!! how? have u not heard of innoson motors in anambra, aba made shoes and textiles, our best brains all over the country in universities lecturing

it baffles me how unproductive and backward people that u are not benefitting from wants to leave u, u refused by sending soldiers after them.

Youngman, I only advised on how best to achieve your Biafra fantasy, I am not here to patronize the usual uninformed rhetorics of disgruntled youths.
Can you show me proof that your founding fathers bequeathed 50% derivation to you?

I am sure you are so historically malnutritioned not to know why we adopted Unitary system of governance, that is your personal problem to deal with.

What igbos are thinking or feeling is not a national problem, igbos don't make 50% of our population, if we must react to what igbos are feeling, you should be smart enough to outline what the Yorubas, Hausas, fulani, urhobo, Ijaws etc are feeling as well.

Before you can make an informed arguement on development, you should be smart enough to explain why the plethora of igbo appointees in previous administration never brought their infrastructure up to speed, if they did, there wont be any vacuum to fill at dwindled resources and borrowed funds, dont you agree?

If you envy the former USSR, Eritrea and others, you should be smart enough to do what they did. Did you hear they got to where they are by importing a lunatic from London disturbing their airwaves?

You can not prove beyond reasonable doubt that igbos have sacrifised more than other tribes in this country. The first civilian president of Yoruba extraction served in the military, defended the integrity of this country, his son is doing same, likewise several igalas, Ijaws, hausa, fulani etc have paid the supreme price for this country, while there are igbos in the military, it is silly to assume we have sacrifised more than others.
Businesses littered nationwide by igbos is not sacrifise but mere survival strategy.
which precedence did u follow to give ur advice that we should leave our land to go and develop a country in the ocean. which new country has ever done that?
the igbos propped up businesses in various parts of the country which other tribes are not doing, even though its symbiotic, its also risky as u can see from the quit notice given by the north and we are still building to develop the country, its a huge sacrifice

other tribes u mentioned are just comfortable with being marginalized, but we are not, that's why we are speaking up. we cant all be cowed. the best u can do is to support those that want freedom instead of castigating them or u remain neutral

where are the Igbo appointees u are talking about that will develop the region. are appointees not delegated authorities that will only do the biddings of their masters?

I am talking about a de-tribalised Nigerian president that will consciously develop the Igbo region with sea port through river niger/oguta lake and railway being top on the list of priorities given our business inclination

I don't see the army fighting and killing its own citizens during the civil war to make them be part of u against their wish as defending the integrity of the nation. 3million igbos died in that war too therefore we also sacrificed, so that sacrifice of defending integrity of the nation is balanced on both sides

but no other tribe has done economic sacrifice like the igbos

u are encouraging us to go to war if we want freedom, don't forget that its both sides that will loose souls, thereafter they will still come to round table discussion to resolve issues which u are avoiding now.
don't u think it will be better to sit and talk and achieve ur aims without going to war so as to avoid the loss of precious lives
btw, USSR dissolved peacefully, cezck and Slovak the same, Eritrea the same

I just want the best for my people if we are Nigerians. I want fairness, I want justice. we are not asking to cheat u, we are only asking u to stop cheating us. remember NNPC 15 appointments

Kindly explain to us the corruption in NNPC in this administration. I want to learn.
1. appointing 15 persons without following the federal character and without a board meeting is corruption

2. approving a whopping $26b contract without a board meeting and without the knowledge of the minister of state who is the board chairman nor the substantive minister who happens to be osinbajo whom power was handed over to while the president was sick is corruption

the president having handed over power, has no constitutional right to approve any document until power was restored to him, that means he did it alone
without passing through the crucible of checks and balances is corruption

3. this govt having given us hope of fighting corruption could not detect that (given baru's defence) that corruption will hold sway if such an amount is approved by only two people, GMD and substantive minister without a board meeting will create room for corruption which eventually happened

I'll simply ignore your first sentence cos it's a wrong judgement.
Btw., can you tell me why people were bathing with salt water all over the country during the time of Ebola? Was idea gotten from an official pronouncement?
Your answer to that applies to this current case. The military didnt attempt or have an idea of immunizing school children. If was all a false rumor/alarm probably ochestrated in the name of propaganda and trying to paint the army black.
You need to ask yourself why no one had been able to come up with pictures or videos of the army sighted in such schools with medical equipments....even school children that were interviewed at various locations never said they sighted any military man.
the fear of ebola was real as well as the fear for the military, the people believed salt could cure ebola they used it even as we found out it was not true. so comparing the military and ebola is a mismatch, u mean people can peddle such type of ebola lies on the Nigerian military and it sails through, if so the military need to re-assess itself. something is definitely wrong if ur citizens can start running away from u just because of rumour. that's lack of trust.
I want u to imagine if such lies can sail through in America if it was American military coming. why because they have established trust between them and the citizens. the American military only rescues its citizens in danger , they don't kill them unlike here, they don't tell them to roll in the mud or swamp, they don't tell u to start slapping each other, they dont tell them to frog jump at any slightest provocation, they don't follow their girl friends or relatives to go and settle civil cases, they don't shoot to kill civilians that bashed their cars, they don't see u as sub human.... ie bloody civilian. with all these tell me why u wont run first if u hear any rumour about them whether true or false . so blame ur military not innocent nigerians, their antecedents caused it

I have one answer to the many questions you possed in the quote; "the military don't give immunization and there medical outreaches is normally carried out in conjuction with the host states...almost all there medical services to the civilians are for the aged.

People like you are so used to those eastern caves that basic common sense must be interpreted with ethnic pettiness, Igbos in Nigeria have carved a niche that we collectively depend on, I am sure a lot of igbos in the west and elsewhere equally needs the protection of the Nigerian state perhaps from the reprisal of the arrogance of the umuahia lunatic, after all, there is no general consensus on his biafra meat pie.

The Nigeria our founding fathers left for us (all the ethnic groups) has a landmass of over 900k square kilometers, it doesn't belong to igbos alone, on that landmass and population, we have built our collective national security, so if you really want to leave, you may consider the option of leaving our landmass intact, you may go to any international waters, sand fill out a private country and name it your Biafra, igbos are wealthy they can afford it, I bet Nigeria will not disturb you, individuals like Richard Branson has made such investments, Countries like china have created private islands from the South china sea, that will be a test of fate for those who really want this biafra.
Attempting to take the land mass of all nigerians and convert it to Igbo only territory when other Igbos will have to share the rest of the country with the other tribes, is not only a suicidal but selfish and arrogant thought, one that even an igbo president knows must be met with force.

When others ask you to leave, they mean leave with your soul & body but leave our lands behind, Cameroon may not want to sell us theirs neither would Benin republic, i doubt if we have the military might to maintain overseas territories, the reason you got education is to earn some sense, i can see that most of those eastern cave dwellers lack it.
you have not proved that I wrote wrongly with any superior argument order than to abuse me 'as lack of sense' for stating the obvious
did our forefathers leave us with a unitary system? is this unitary system working? there will be calm if we accept what our forefathers left for us like regionalism and 50% derivation
the igbos feel that their knack for growth is being impeded through deliberate policies against its region
if u claim that the whole 900k land mass is Nigerias....... so why not develop it equally and be fair to all, why the glaring nepotism against us
your policies are making us to feel that our landmass is not included. so we know what is best for us and u wouldn't allow us

According to ur analogy, Eritrea and east timor; Ukraine and other former USSR enclaves; Croatia, Serbia and other Yugoslavia enclaves I guess all left their natural God given land for others to go and build their new countries on the atlantic and other oceans

I schooled and grew up in the west and am still there, don't be having the believe that anybody opposing u have never crossed the niger

no tribe has demonstrated more love for Nigeria through its actions like the Igbos; but we are just all demanding for simple justice and fair play which Nigeria has been denying us for more than 50yrs. or don't u think there should be reactions?

hope u have noticed that during the heat of Nnamdi Kalus agitations , the senate agreed that it was going to revisit the devolution of powers debate and vote which they earlier voted against, now they feel that they have defeated him, they are now back tracking

lesson of this is that these people know what is best for this country and refuse to do it, so blame them and not those agitating.
they are obviously waiting for another person to spring up with agitations before they start to sing about the right things to do
instead of them to make use of this window of opportunity of peace

if you don't know how government works then shut up! Buhari is president does not mean he knows everything. There is the head of service who is responsible for all civil servants, she is the one that has an explanation to give as to why/how the fugitive was reinstated.

Meanwhile, kudos to premium times who exposed this evil move. This is the kind of journalism we require to move this country forward.
then heads must roll for us for us to believe he isn't aware of what happened

Very good one from Mr. President. He obviously wasn't in the country when the corrupt cabals reinstated the corrupt guy.
For the illiterates IPOBs, biafras commenting. Go read what the civil service commission entails...Appointment, recruitment and promotion of staffs has nothing to do with the President, Buhari just acted in honour against the corrupt guy.

Action president: Report to be submitted today unfailingly
appointments, recruitments, promotion ...... bla bla bla
so u don't know how they have been recruiting their people in CBN and NNPC etc
the recent NNPC recruitment where there is no south easterner is still fresh in our memory
