Ofcourse the WEST won't go into extinction after the winter, the corresponding effect is what the WEST will not recover from in decades. i bet you don't know more people die during the winter from cold, (when there was normal supply of Gas to the WEST) compared to dring the heat period. There will shortage of food putting millions into hunger, there will be lose of jobs and i can go on and on. this is catastrophic to the WEST.
Forget the wolves cries by alarmist.....we all survived covid despite all the doom predictions and even came out better after Ebola that the world had thought will finish us off.

There is oil and gas from OPEC that can mitigate the loss of the russian gas.....this people had thought this through and trust me 95% of humans by now know how to survive environmental extremes.

The only effect it will have on the rest of europe is high gas prices and spiraling inflation which they will find a way around.

Look!...either the WEST likes it or NOT, Russia is winning this particular war. Winter is coming and over 40% of the Gas consumption by the WEST comes from Almighty Russia.... people will start protesting on the street, alot of people will loose their jobs and i can bet you the WEST and EUROPE is not ready for what it is to come.. My man Putin knows his game well and there's no amount of self-burning or protest sponsored.
Then what happens when the west survives the russian gas blockage......how will russia survive the price cap on its oil and heavy investment in renewables by the west. You think the west hasn't thought of this.

Trust me, Russia is the loser in this war and he putin is only looking for collateral damage with Ukraine to save face.

Hungary that is making mouth now by aligning with russia is just doing so to survive winter.

Everyone has seen through Putin and he is so predictable......they are just bidding time to get him to a corner where he won't escape the wrath awaiting him.

1. Get ASUU to call of strike close to the election so most youths would be in school

2. Unleash UGM and activate IPOB to declare sit at home in the south east on election day, thereby making it difficult for igbos to vote

3. Threaten the Igbo's outside the south east from voting.

Some people come on this thread running their mouth about all the things they have, giving all the unsolicited advice and criticism in the world and belittling others... Forgetting that what they are running their mouth about is what other people wipe their butts with and yet still have respect for their fellow man.

This thread is for UBER DRIVERS and things that will benefit THEM. Pretty sure nothing stops someone from creating a thread for Uber partners, CEOs and entrepreneur gods where they can share opinions/advice from today till eternity and nobody will complain.

Resurgent2016:
Let me share my experience.

I typically do ehailing, 1 trip from mainland to island very early in the morning to at least bring down my fuel cost as I transit to work.

So today I went on Indriver, saw one trip just like that - 7mins from PU and the location seemed like the island (as per indriver fastest finger, I didn't even confirm, I just applied). Trip was 1,200, I didnt mind. Its better than driving empty.

Picked up the guy, seemed like a nice guy but as I started the trip, I saw like 1hr+ on google map, then I knew I bought bad market.

Looked again, it was somewhere inside inside Apapa, apparently the bridges I saw on indriver map were the ones that lead to Apapa.

I was still acting professional, didn't complain. Started the trip. When I got inside the Apapa side, it was unbearable. Some traffic points were near standstill.

I left professionalism, turned off my a/c, he didn't deserve it, a very wicked somebody, because he was going to work and he knew what lay ahead. How can he book a trip like that for 1k, because I also use the rider side of indriver and I know they usually give a base rate that is comparable to bolt. Even without traffic that trip will be at least over 3k.

The guy realised my mood was changing, and started begging me to chill, we will get there and he will give me more money.

Long story short, after like 1hr and still in traffic, I ask the guy to alight and not bother with payment.

Very wicked people exits on indriver, be careful with the fastest finger thing
Really funny grin I don laugh tire

If u r sure u have not committed any offense.

You can choose the option of not paying the fine and follow them to court.

You apply through the court to release ur vehicle on bond.

They need to present evidence of ur offence to the court, if they fail to get judgment against u, sue them 4 damages, and you could be a millionaire in couple of years.

Nigerian government and useless policies. How can you tell if I am Uber/ driver if I Noh show you my phone.

How can lastma or vio ask me for my phone and I will hand it to them? because I don't know how they can identify e hailing cabs without having to check drivers phones.

PEDPA will find it difficult to operate because e hailing is a tech business and cannot be subjected to conventional regulations.

Uber/ bolt will just close their physical offices and keep operations strictly online. Shikena undecided

You can post pics of the car here,so drivers can make quick and informed decisions.

Some people post defective cars here and put drivers through a lot of stress and time wasting for these bad cars.

I connect both drivers here on nairaland. They were posting regularly about Sienna between 2016/2017.

See i have been in transport business since 2014, started with golf 3 on ogudu road, then join uber 2016, drove uber for 2months, b4 i decide to settle with investing with uber.

I started with uber when rent was 40k above, and I'm still here.

Gentlelife50 has worked under me in 2018 when he newly joined uber without knowing he was working 4 me.

Felicity0001 has applied to drive 4 me, via uber fleet match after filling my form, i make my research and discovered who he was then i start doing him turn turn, until he become frustrated.

Godswill10 if u know that business that raise u 2million to buy Sienna, dedicate more to it.

There is no such thing as side hustle in transport business, transport business is more like snake eat snake, most drivers are vampires, looking 4 who they will destroy to enrich themselves.
Transport business is still one of the best passive income earner in our economy today.

There is a difference in being a car owner and being a transporter.

I don't know what your aims are or how u device to achieve it, people are making it and if you are not then u need to have a re approachment.

You were on here the other day and claiming drivers can't get a car here and how impossible it is to start a partnership.

I just got a car to manage right on this forum last week and another one about to be signed, all from here.

You really need to quit the negativity and look out more for the benefits.

But you too belong to the same bandwagon na.

I tot you said your drivers are remmitting 30/35k this period!
I am not as crazy as that!! I kept emphasising that I don't do strictly e hailing.

How can someone expect e hailing driver to be delivering 35k weekly, isn't that madness.naj ghost him wan dey carry?

He won't do 25 for e hailing, he won't do 40 for interstate, how confused can a man be. Maybe he should go and buy bicycles and be renting it to children, at least he won't be spending too much on maintenance

Thanks bro.
But what vehicle do you advise I get, just for a side hustle when I'm free
You can equally do your market survey and compare between interstate and e hailing at the moment.

Every business has got it's own share of risks, you have seen people on here telling people especially new entrants to jettison e hailing for now except you will be driving yourself.

Interstate is equally lucrative and you are more in control of your earnings than on e hailing.

You were changing oil every two weeks? Chai

A semi synthetic oil can last 10000km

Lagos to Abuja is 700km

So you mean your driver was covering that kind of distance 13 times in 14 days?
So your driver would be traveling like Lagos to Abuja every single day for two weeks?

Him dey manufacture him own passengers? grin

So sorry sir
Isn't that the same guy crying here about wanting 35k weekly for his cars this period.

If a driver comes now and promises him that amount he will quickly surrender his keys then come back after 2 weeks still crying about how drivers are not honest or how his car took a beating.

I have at Everytime tried to let people know that there are other transport segments more lucrative than e hailing at the moment.

See them vampires,

One of them post about sienna to Ghana, how lucarative, i gave out my 2nd sienna, spending almost 150k in Registration.

My broda after 2months, i run 4 my life.

I end up selling those sienna

The interstate for 990k,

The ghana route for 1.1

landing cost 4 both 2.1m

Pls run 4 ur life.
So because you failed doesn't mean everyone else would.

I have been doing this and I have people who are also into it.

As it is with e hailing where you have failures and success stories so it is with every business. There are people on this very forum who do interstate,@carshopper readily comes to mind.

I repeat, a sienna will do 40k weekly even this period and it makes more sense than a Corolla of same amount.
