dru23: Well you have to check the reason why the camry always need topping oil now .. It could be something simple, we should not conclude that the corolla is better for that reason.. 2 camries out of 3, 03 and 06 would have accepted it was a random problem if it was just one car but 2 outta 3 |

Eizenburg: Most people don’t bother to read their car’s manual. That’s why you sometimes come across post asking which oil to use.
My car manual states different mileage for normal and aggressive usage. Full time “uber-ing” falls under aggressive.
How’s Texas treating you? Some of us are eagerly anticipating your return oo. I have cars doing about 280 to 400kms daily on interstate. Funny thing is the Camry is always requiring oil top up after every round trip while the Corollas doesn't. I would have normally expected the bigger 2.4 engine to be best suited for long distance trips but on second thought, the 1.8 Corolla seems to be cutting it for me. |

dru23: That is the unfortunate truth.. Those sellers already know in their mind that this car no go last another six months .. They will just tell go bring your own mechanic before you drop money..
Kazeem will come test drive, he will move the car back and fourth . Check the engine ,check transmission etc and he will pass the car as good to go .. Car business very tough business Kazeem knows he will be the one to fix all the faults hence more money to him. Funny you will see someone buy 04 Corolla for 750k and will expect car to be perfectly fine |

If you can't disclose the full problem with the car so buyer can price rightly while keeping fund for fixing the problem with the car, then you are a yahoo boy It behoves on the buyer to do his due diligence by offering what price he sees appropriate. If you agree to buy an 03 Camry from me with a bad engine at the price of a toks, what sin have I commited. You had the freedom to inspect, test drive and even bring your kazeem |

northbird: Lagos- ibadan- ife- take the next left @ roundabout by that school OUI.
Staraight till you get to akure.
Akure - take a left again straight to ibilo.
Ibilo- okene- lokokoja
Lokoja- Abuja. Lol!! Akure to ibillo Noh be straight road nah, from owo through the akoko axis to ibillo. Don't really like that road ,it's too unnerving and too many turns through the town's. Another option is , instead of taking the left at owo, you can go right into owo town straight road no turns till you get to ipele junction, take the left that take u through Idoani- Sosan akoko to Isua junction, straight road no turns. From Isua u can either choose to go straight to kabba-obajana and burst out at Lokoja or take a right at Isua juction to ibillo and on to Okene. Sagamu-ore- Benin to ekpoma-auchi to okpella and on to okene far better road but you will experience some challenges between okpella to okene but from okene to Abuja, the road is also ok |

UBER hasn’t reached its maximum potential yet The economic variables ain't same sir!! You would have a higher percentage of Uber riders to drivers in UK than u would have in Nigeria. Though I would agree that the Nigerian market is far from reaching it's potential. |

Just ask anyone here for a rental or hire purchase agreement form to give to your prospective drivers, you can at least start from there. All the requirements and terms would be stated in the agreements, you can tweak it to your specific need. Do your due diligence and always check here on every step. |

This is a deft political masterstroke for whomever's interest is being protected.
Buhari made the best decision by desolving the NWC and attending that NEC. he consulted well and took the interest of the warring camps and subsumed them.
Oshiomole is gone which many were hell bent on seeing and Party control now seemingly balanced which some others also wanted.
Oshiomole was too hot a water to be touched and any one who supports him would know that the best thing was for him to step aside.
I don't think tinubu would have wanted to unnecessarily go all guns blazing to protect oshiomole the bull in the China shop. |

If you doubt me drive a car with Delta plate number and see how freedly police addresses you and even in Lagos but no try am if drive lagos plate number for warri ooh dam c lagosians as ajebo I am not sure you are actually correct!! I drive all over the states with my Lagos number and I haven't noticed any stereotypical attitude from law enforcement agents cos of this The only proviso is that it is only Lagos number that is organized, that is, it's only Lagos number you can easily tell a newly registered car from an older one. I think Lagos is around GH now, all other states don't follow alphabetically like Lagos and if police or customs see you on the highway with any G number, you are very likely to be stopped |

However, u can never get all the tricks gas stations play, they are just too many. northbird: @ babadee, Pettrocam is good, I think d problem wt most filling stations is wt their attendants.
I don't know if you noticed, its a common practice among them, you ask for fuel of #2,000. They program #2,000 into the console/ dispenser.
Fuel starts reading, wen it gets to #500 or so, they grab the nozzle n start squeezing it. I'm lyk you have programmed it already, its going to stop @ #2,000.
Why r you squeezing the nozzle again? I don't get it, I'm always wondering, then wats d point of inputting 2,000 in d first place. Some nozzles are bad and some pumps are equally bad, pumps that read too fast obviously have a problem and also pumps that read too slow. The worst filling station is that conoil at the local airport exit on ikeja along. You tell them 2k they will dispense 500 and stop or 1500, they say "sorry sir I thought you said, ok let me complete it" Omo you have been cheated, the initial 500 or the last 500 can never be complete. They did it to me on two occasions, and I immediately knew something was fishy. |

northbird: @ felicity, nice one. How did you deal wt d men on the road esp from d mowe - ibafo axis.
I'm sure you used the sagamu interlink exchange n dey must be there, how did you go through. Ogun state and Lagos are considered as one location as regards this lockdown. If u are driving a private car and as long as you don't have more than 2 sitting behind you wouldn't have much problem getting through even beyond ogun state. Even if you do have more than 2 behind you just have to be street smart. The only tough route is the Benin, south south, south east route and understandably so. That route has always been high wire. Same logic applies to ehailing, 90% of the time if it's obvious you are an Uber driver, you are easy prey for those goverment dogs. Still beats me hollow when I see some cars making it so obvious they are commercial even the blind will notice. |

Felicity0001: In continuation of my Abeokuta trip...
So we started trip from Oyingbo and after inputting the address on Gmap it says "112km with over 2hr:45min ETA.
I used the Lagos Ibadan express way route going but on getting to destination which took an extra 1hr:30min of the initial ETA, rider was disappointed meeting the absence of the persons he went for. Trip was supposed to be drop off alone so out pity I decided to return back with them at fueling cost alone which was the same amount I used to fuel my vehicle at PETROCAM, Igandu Rd the previous day.
But before I refueled that fuel brought me back Enyo at Command, on a 65km from destination to Abule Egba on the Oshodi - Abeokuta exp route.
Now, some persons may want to ask, what is the sense behind sharing this boring and sterile experience.
Well, the point (advice) I want to make clear is that: 1) As for riders, please if you must travel on a long journey especially one that involves plying high way like outside Lagos please and please make sure you get the right driver with experience in long distance driving because inter state travel and driving is totally different from driving within the metropolis. A lot of these uber drivers and danfo drivers can't even do ordinary Lagos - Ibadan. I believe I dont need to over emphasis on the important of long distance experience driving. Like the popular song "egun egun be careful na express you dey go"
2) while negotiating please make sure you do physical inspection of the car you're to use before embarking on the journey with the car. Make sure the tyers are good and ok, breaking syatem is in perfect condition, ask driver about the condition of the car and how old car as been in use, last date of service. No one wants to be stranded in the middle of nowhere. It is expected that faults can develop anytime without giving any notice but a sound car will hardly park you on a highway.
Lastly, my fellow drivers anytime una pass that PETRICAM for dey along LASU-IDUME road try stop by buy fuel there their fuel na baba because that 3k fuel took me to Charity B/S, Bolade B/S and then back to PU at Charity B/S area again before drop off at Ipaja then to Abule Egba, the next morning to Oyingbo, down to Abeokuta and back to Command before I refuel. And mind you all of these waka was with full AC apart from going to Abeokuta that I didn't use the AC too much.
Again, the road from Lafarge factory in Ogun state to Ijaye b/S in lagos is a no go area, as a matter of fact I can say with all boldness from experience this far that road is the baddest of all the roads I've ply in recent times. Good one bruv, I really like your grit!! Impossible is nothing |

If all the cards are thrown on the table for him, he will be worst off if he were to run against APC and fail. It's not just election he would be losing buy everything, so why would I want to stake everything for what we all know is a gamble. He should rather concede and seek a truce, remember he has a very huge reputation in the corporate world and he readily has a job he can immediately fall back to and the political clout he has gathered will make him even more powerful in the corporate world. Why loose all that to fight a needless battle that the only choice u have is win or else the collateral damage will be irreparable. |
