jonaifame22: thank you sir for the response, did you use ur city for uber and also was it costly to maintain and also how often do you change the CVT oil and the cost Of course, the city was for uber.it was bought from warri from shell company auction. Engine was very ok with chilling a/c,no issues but for the gear. I wasn't too knowledgeable then about cvt transmissions. But I think u should change oil based on your usage. |

jonaifame22: thank you sir,the problem I have with the Honda city is that it doesn't have an arm rest and I love to rest my right arm whilst driving, I kind of love the interior of the tiida ,I heard it has heated seats is it true, and also how where you able to cope with the CVT of the Honda city Tiida with heated seats, that's a great plus!! And what's wrong with the city's continuos variable transmission. Though the city then used to have problems with the gear seals and I had to drop it because it almost ruined the gear box.but I think it's a common Honda problem especially the Accord and city, though mine was bought Nigerian used |

jonaifame22: thank you sir for your response, and pls sir is it very durable and would you pick a Nissan tiida over an Honda city preferably 2005-2008 Honda city In my opinion, they are both good cars. I had a friend use the same tiida for over 2 years and has even transferred it to his wife and car never had any issues, my friend even confesses he has never seen a car like that before, funny enough he wanted to buy a Corolla but was about 300k short and was begging dealer to allow him take the car and balance up within 2 months. Dealer said no and advised him to take the tiida since that's what he could afford,my guy reluctantly accepted after like some weeks of begging for Corolla, guy has never regretted taking the tiida. The end of my epistle is that you should be fine as long as car is in good condition and maintained accordingly. Used the 05 city before and must confess it was equally not bad, excellent fuel economy, fantastic acceleration, far more leg room than Corolla and far better interior. |

Go to unilag and see the huge number of babies in that place. Little children that should still be under their parents already at the mercy of the world.
I agree age isn't maturity but the pressure society is putting on these kids is too much. My last son will be 3 in May but hasn't started proper school but attends day care. He spends more time at home than the other kids and I observed that his sense of reasoning is at par with his peers who have already started goiing to school and waking up 6:30 am and returning 5pm..
Many of us try to replace parental tutelage with teachers instructions which aren't same. That's why many kids trust and respect their teachers more than their biological parents. |

Not hating on the man ooo but What happens to isolating him for another 14days to verify this claim? One part of my brain is telling me covid-19 in Nigeria might not actually be true. Hmmmm, this is Nigeria! if you are just getting the script, then u re really late. Blackbishop: To all my Brothers and Sisters in the automotive industry I just want to say thank you for all you do. For we are the unsung heroes in this battle with Covid-19. Yes, we seem to be the forgotten ones when it’s time to give praise to the “Essential Services”. But make no mistakes my friends we ARE “Essential”. Because of us the ambulances & police vehicles are safe and maintained so that they can continue to save lives and protect our community. Because of us medical professionals can get to and from work safely so that they can continue the great work they are doing helping and saving our sick. Because of us transportation services can continue to get “essential” workers where they need to go. Because of us our beloved truckers can continue to keep the supply chain flowing. Because of us our grocery stores and restaurant employees and market people can get to their destination safely to provide us with food and other life essential goods. (On a personal note these employees deserve a hell of a raise in pay for what they are doing) Our job requires us at times to get in dirty, smelly, germ infested vehicles to perform repairs. We are taking great risks every time we get in a vehicle or interact with a client. But we do it because our heart has deemed us “Essential” and because our first responders need us. “Essential” is a title I will wear with a sense of pride even if we are the forgotten. Be proud my brothers and sisters without us none of this would be possible. Thank you to ALL our “Essential” service workers for all you are doing to fight this pandemic.

Felicity0001: I tire oooh.
We advice this guy to return b4 but guy no hear, anyways u wont blame him shall, hard times r here so one or two trips a week can keep one going this period. abi was is not the same guy that was begging owner to reduce weekly remittance to N15k? So owner can see from his tracket car is working despite the lockdown and no remittance reason for him asking for the car.
Maybe owner needs car to go to market or hospital who knows.
Let hiree ask hirer where he would like to go let him drive h/h there.
Times like this friendly understanding and honesty is needed. No need to be too hard else both parties has a lot to loss especially the driver.
Wisdom is profitable to direct. Everything nah understanding, they both don't need to be too hard on themselves, contract or no contract, every law has a human face.this can be handled as guys but he should ask that the week's instalment be deducted from the total money |

The owner is not recognizing the terms of agreement that is if you even have one. If you do, go back and read and understand at what condition the car can be collected from you. l also suggest, NO FEAR AM WHEN UNA DEY TALK, tell am as e be.
1. You park it in his place and hold on to key and battery and plates.
2. He pick the car, you collect wages per day.
3. His friends use the car and continue paying the rental and sign agreement to full responsibility of hazards and repairs.
4. Ready to collect your 100k. Once he sees any of the above. He has no right to withold even the Tyre Jack to that car, no part of the car is his until he fully pays for it.be like say u Noh know wetin be hire purchase. |

If it's a tokunbo,he should be responsible for anything that may come up while the car was with him.he also should be responsible for the week's instalment. Don't make it too difficult by dealing strictly on contract but apply wisdom in dealing it guy to guy. Understanding is all that matters, the table can turn tomorrow whereby u might need him to also bend the rules of the agreement for u or anything else. Like I said earlier,it depends on ur raport and how closr ur relationship is!! If |

NB:my total amount paid is 150k.. advice please Guy I would advise you to gentlemanly reach an agreement. What does he need the car for,if it's just to park it no probs. You can agree to have it parked at ur place or his place with understanding the car cannot be driven. Don't worry urself too much the car can't be taken from U if u are up to date with ur instalments. It's your right to ask for your money back if he refuses u the usage of the car or returned in a condition other than that u gave him the car after lockdown. |

They were stopped at Ogun State and call was made to Osun govt based on their claimed destination. These people came in packed in a bus, just one or two infected people was all it required to infect 18 out of 127!
Mind you, if you were current as you claimed, you would have known that Nigeria borders are not closed to Nigerians trying to get back into the country. So, I will again that you're a century behind as far as information dissemination is concerned!
You are simply a conspiracy theorist, you are stuck with your belief. No matter what you read, hear or watch, it won't make a difference to you. I don't blame you at all, there is so much distrust in the land and that has affected many citizens like you.

maasoap: Then, why are you claiming that the figures is being inflated for the purpose getting benefits when you want us to talk about the situation on ground? Have you been to Lagos, FCT and Osun state isolation center?
Would you disagree with the comment above from another thread?
Read the above thread and tell me if that op suffered from Covid-19 or not. What is the incubation period for the virus, how many sudden deaths have been recorded linked to the virus? The virus doesn't hide and contact, incubation and death doesn't take long.what I am driving at is symptoms don't take long to manifest. If there were really more infected people there would have been chaos everywhere by now. I guess you saw the post from the Lagos isolation center where all the patients were all smiles and cool compared to those in Europe and US The political angle to this far outweighs the humanitarian angle the government is trying to portray. Wait to hear how much both state and federal would claim they have expended on this excercise. Osun state is now claiming several cases saying people that came in from Abidjan brought it. There are so many holes in that story.the border had been closed, how many cases are in Abidjan sef that it is our own people they are claiming brought it. Scam everywhere,it's all about the money, declare corona virus, declare emergency, vote money for it's containment, receive money from donors and multi lateral agencies like WHO,UNICEF,AU etc.these monies are emergency funds and governor's can claim any amount as expenses. |
