Thank you my brother... Anyone who reason and type correctly like that guy called npala abi na npapa be him name is probably suffering from a mental disorder I call "correctspellaphobe" a word I derived from germaphobe. grin

He really doesn't have any idea what it means for the brain to be faster than the hands. Such people are sluggish in doing things and even after taking a hundred years in learning a particular thing they still fail in the practical life.

I do not beg anyone to read what ever nonsense I write neither do I advocate for likes or share, after all, who likes don help?.

Exactly.

I'll have to agree with Eizenburg again. A whole lot of Lagosians do not know the reason for the lockdown. Someone said in Ogba, people are going out, so therefore the lockdown is not working grin grin grin

God go protect us all. I pray humidity, and all other dities will work in our favour. Because when this shiit gets out of hand?

God forbid sha
It's not just ogba, the entire Lagos is disobeying the quarantine, drove through mile 12 during this lockdown and I was scared out of my wits seeing it was business as usual with no form of social distancing whatsoever and in very unhygienic environment, it was Like they knew nothing about the disease. If coro was that vicious,by now everyone in that shithole should have been at least sick by now.

I have a bullet for anyone that comes on here to say shit about still being early days, those guys never quarantined for a sec.

That Texas ranger and the engine oil seller should not come here and start comparing mile 12 with anywhere in the US or Europe.

HealthRe: Kano Mysterious Deaths by Bigleaf1006: 3:35pm On Apr 25, 2020
There is something fishy about this Kano death stories. I still would want to view with suspicion. Someone somewhere is trying to create unnecessary panic. The state government have said all this death stories are rumors.

If these were entirely true,I expect the city would have been in pandemonium already considering how volatile my people can be.

The silence of the state government also says alot. I think it's a script and some people wants to curry sympathy and arm twist the FG.

You guys should stop this conspiracy stuff.
If you don't test, you will have zero cases but that doesn't mean the state is free
from the disease.

Rather than being cynical at every turn, you should advocate for the alternative so that
we can all pretend the disease doesn't exist and everyone should mingle as they feel like.
After all, not more than 5% of Nigeria's 200 million will die.

I am not defending anybody but just offering simple medical fact.
Oga!! Coro dey town,we all know that.In same vein we all know how parochial our politicians can be. Even a day old can see through them and knows what to expect.

Kano is still at the table drawing up numbers, u think all this wasn't pre planned? Oga when it comes to politics and money in naija, human lives least matters to our politicians.

You are now making inferences.

If you didn't know the law then you shouldn't have been so confident to the extent of saying government is responsible. You should have asked questions rather than passing a judgement because judgement ought to be from knowledge.

To start with, in which part of the world have you seen the names of the patients or dead people made public?

Unless the people on their own waive the right or it's a case which has other factors.

I don't even know why you need the names of people dying from a disease before believing that the disease exists.
There we go!!we are always wanting to copy other countries. Who have carefully and thoughtfully sought solutions to their problems which is often based on peculiarities. All we do is just copy and paste.

Everything about this pandemic and it's containment has been borrowed from outside with our government mindlessly not taken into consideration our peculiar circumstances. Lazy disingenuous lot we call leaders.

We can and should seek our own home grown solutions to the problem, there is nothing absolutely wrong in publishing of persons that have died from this covid19. We are in a state of emergency even without the government saying so. It's martial law or a semblance of such at the moment.

If peoples liberties can be eroded just via executive Fiat,we can also use such powers to Wade any encuberance to releasing names of victims, if you are a covid-19 victim, all your rights automatically ceases and you are under the full control of the state.

Sir,I submit that considering our socio cultural peculiarities here in Africa,it won't be out of place to avail society the names of the victims cause this will reverberate more and will register more forcefully on people's minds about the dangers of this disease.

Times have changed between the time of ebola and now in terms of data privacy. Check how it is also done in other countries.

Abba Kyari on his own disclosed his condition. Not the government. That's the difference..
What laws sanctions this or are you insinuating based on convention? Bro, this is a matter of public importance and in the martial state we are in right now,no law is sacrosanct.

If the govt can order everyone to stay at home thereby eroding everyone's fundamental right, then what ever law u did sight can also be voided in this circumstance.

Nowhere did I say I was enjoying the lockdown, or it works for me.

Our healthcare system will not be able to handle the cases if the number keeps increasing. As much as you want to make money and keep your family, it's also wise to be safe.

If your government is not concerned about you, won't you be concerned about yourself?

Stay safe sir
Stay safe angry
You keep going round in circles, typical Nigerian!! I have opined that the lockdown is counter productive. What's your exact stand,I don't think merely asking people to stay safe can be considered a stand on this matter.

You might be staying in Lekki or Banana island where you can get ample serenity, as for me I stay on the mainland, downtown Ogba to be precise and my streets are as crowded as can be thereby making the lockdown seem pointless.

You advised staying at home, then lockdown isn't working for you. In all your post so far you haven't stood anywhere but in the air.

I am staying safe sir and I pray we go all dey all right las las.

So you don't think Obama an Harvard Graduate, Lawyer and Senator could not have done better..... So the handling of the Ebola crisis and swine flu crisis was not handle correctly etc....

Are u much aware that after those crisis that Obama set up a pandemic team .. The team was responsible for overseeing future pandemic.. Obama had to get permission from Congress to fund the department.. Which Congress approved and just like the Obama care that Obama put in place ,Trump went to Congress to discontinue it , but he was short of a vote, which Senator John McCain voted against.. Than Pandemic team he got rid of them ..

Now we are at a Crisis and Trump administration is now clueless on what to do . Plus millions of people are now unemployed ,money borrowed for the stimulus package is now added to the national debt. Or do you expect the USA government to print money?

Due to his negligence it has affected the oil market, which now affects you too.. When USA economy suffers it affects other nations too ... So at the end of the day it is affecting you ,whether you like it or not .. Nigeria lockdown is going to continue for another two weeks.. And enjoy while it last .....

And it seems to me you are so use to system of corruption in Nigeria ,that you make excuses for the failures of your leaders , and you think it is supposed to be the way things should be ....smh...

Unfortunately due to Trump negligence, Nigeria will suffer the most during this pandemic, better yet Africa as a whole.....
Dems are more of talkers, though I have a slight preference for them

PoliticsRe: PTF: Farmers Should Prepare To Return To Their Farms by Bigleaf1006: 8:04am On Apr 25, 2020
seborrhic:
It's important that it's made official.
Some farmers have lands at only motorable distances from their abode.
Making it official gives them the freedom to move to and from their farms.
Same with their workers and also directly or indirectly gives those involved in sale or distribution of agricultural feeds or equipment the security to open shops.
This is not directed at the farmer with his plot close to his house or in the same village, though they too should benefit from the ease of movement.
In some parts of the North with their large landmass, some farmers with farms even in the same local maybe equivalent to travelling from Oshodi to Ajah for eg.
Oga!! The pronouncement we are waiting to hear is what government has been doing to ameliorate the suffering of the masses.

Lockdowns are only effective in urban areas and the last I checked not much farming goes on in this places.

Lockdowns are not effective in rural areas and I repeat that farmers don't need anyone to tell them whether to go to farm or not. I run a poultry which is miles from my house and I have been going unhindered, Produce markets never closed and produce has been entering the cities unhindered.

I hate when govt are quick to make policies or statements with no visible impact or downright unnecessary. Making statements for the sake of it.

We need concise policy statements. You heard the other day Kano saying they had no test kits and the NCDC nor the PTF hasn't made any official statement to that effect.

How and where was the test conducted. APC is busy playing games with us. Boss Mustapha and Sanwoolu are in cahoots on this conspiracy.

I have forever been waiting for data on LGA basis at least for Lagos. No info,no data to work on but all we get is releasing numbers like election results.

During ebola we all knew the epicenter was Eti osa and surulere LGAs. Fashola APC could not actively connive with Goodluck's PDP in perpetuating this highly debateable figures cos they knew FG wasn't too keen to play ball.

Release LGA by LGA statistics, how many imported cases and how many community transmissions.

Let's have info on the dead,we had names of those that died during ebola, why is this different?

The government till now hasn't given any concrete plan on how they intend to get us out of this or how they intend to palliate the basic welfare of the people.

Absolutely nothing reponsible from government other than seemingly obvious untruthful assertions.

There hasn't been harmattan in Lagos for as long as i can remember but outside Lagos,it can really get a bit chilling during harmattan.

U hardly get sub 22 23 degrees in naija even during harmattan. If that were possible,it would be paradise over here.
