Problem is not green passport, but traveling through Nigeria.
Ghana is not on the list yet, but should a Ghanaian come to Nigeria going to Canada, he/she will be turned back.

Lump sum means lump sum. If you paid in a lump sum in which you quite know it's lump sum, then, just act that it will be counted as a lump sum to the VO.
Lump sum is not a crime or ground for denial in as much as you can explain how you came about it.
Lump sum can be from a gift deeds. it can be from spouse to spouse account funding. It can be revenue from house rent at giving period. or bonus from employment if you have a paid job. The onus is on you to show details and how you cam about that lump sum.

I would be applying for my study permit come Jan so I would like to know how to tackle the lump sum deposit issues. Like what amount can be considered as a lump sum in ones account? And what's the remedy to explain it in ones SOP if there's indeed a lump sum? Like what's the most commonest or MOST acceptable reason to explain your lump deposit to the VO? If there's a cash flow of let's say 100k to 400k monthly in ones account then 3 months to application there's about 3m in the same account. Can that be considered a lump sum? I'm thinking of submitting my Dom account statement of account along side my naira account. But my Dom account has been idol for months. How do you think I can explain the idolness of the Dom account? Or i shouldnt submit it?

Normally, it is the admitted department that will show on the face of the letter.
Courses you registered can be changed at any time before close of registration and it has no effect.

Good day house so after getting my visa I had to do enrollment of courses in order to get my enrollment letter but I always wanted to switch courses to switch from a pre-nursing to computer science my school refuses to give me a new admission letter so my admission letters carries pre-nursing and my enrollment carries computer science I just want to know if that will be any issues at my point of entry in Canada

If you do your calculation well, you will recoup the cost of your one way ticket by the time you purchase your PTA

If you have naira equivalent of $4,000 for PTA....It is cheaper to book a return ticket than one way at the end. Even if you'll never use the return ticket.

Let your friend buy ticket for December now and travel within a month to Winter start date.

My thoughts: If he leaves now, there is a high chance he can beat the immigration at both ends but there is also a small chance they can check status of his registration with the school. He need enrollment verification letter that is recent - a good chance he has that too already but the small risk of verification can still come up. Finally, if he beats all these and he needs to renew visa/study permit to complete program (to cover for the missed semester), the story won't add up because transcript will show he/she wasn't enrolled in Fall 2021 while they were in Canada. It could also be something that can come up during PGWP or PR application in a few years.

So, I would play it safe if I were your friend - buy ticket now to safe cost, and wait until December to travel.
NB: Some who just arrived was asked to show their online learning courses to see what courses they are enrolled in. I suspect your friend won't be able to do that since they are no longer enrolled in the Fall term.
