🤣🤣🤣 make I no over-flog the matter con turn CBEX oo, if Branch works for you fine but you get more than N3k on same amount per day which in a week would x2 what you get from Branch 😂
Lexusgs430: I go move the remaining money into branch and just stick to 17% Apr....... 🤣🌿😂
Chai ...which kain wahala bi dis naa, ask dem whether dem want your investment abi den nor want 😂😂😂 Won't a driver's license work here since it contains your home address? You ask them
Lexusgs430: Oya o.... Non residents, your foreign documents MUST be notarized....... 😁😂
Is Labour party not an opposition party? How are they not entitled to set up a shadow government to critique the substantive government? Or are we missing something here?
zero8zero: Is Pat Utomi not a member of Labour Party?
zero8zero: Is shadow Government in the constitution? yes or no. No time for long story. So non state actors can go ahead and start forming shadow Government because there's freedom of speech?. Don't we already have opposition parties and Several pressure groups responsible for opposing Govt policies?
We don't need to practice Parliamentary system like the UK to do this though, the current members of the Senate and House of Rep can take up same stance if only they knew what they are there to do.
Lastly, it is not unconstitutional so far as they don't go out to instigate members of the public to try to topple the government. There's freedom of speech and association enshrined in our constitution. This is what the shadow government members are riding on.
I understand you though, we can be too aggressive sometimes and that could lead to wrong meanings read into genuine plans.
zero8zero: Is it constitutional? Are we practicing parliamentary system like the UK?
These people don't understand what a shadow government is ni? It is only meant as a platform to critique the current government's cabinet member performance and not to circumvent them. It is usually made up of opposition party with designated persons they deem fit could handle the various ministerial positions were it to be an actual government. They should watch the UK Parliament more
🤣🤣🤣🤭 Standard KYC document requirements from financial services companies in Naija. Just tell them you are non-resident, scan and send them what you have in line with that.
Lexusgs430: How do your people expect me to navigate some of this requirements........ 🤣😁
Once a phone can receive and make calls, browse the internet, check emails, social media, and can support your financial apps, I don't see the need to be too extravagant in getting the latest phone.
GistMedia0: After Nottingham Forest’s 2-2 draw with Leicester City on Sunday, billionaire owner of Nottingham Forest Fc, Evangelos Marinakis was spotted chatting with manager Nuno Espírito Santo on the field. But what caught fans' attention — it was his phone.
Marinakis appeared to be holding an old iPhone 6 Plus or 7 Plus, sparking reactions online. Many were shocked that someone of his wealth was still using a phone most people, even those far less rich, have long abandoned. Some called it humble, others found it surprising — but one thing's clear: it got fans talking.
Something that worked for me was swapping the dates instead of dd/mm/yyyy format try mm/dd/yyyy especially if your date of birth is from 01 to 12. Some of the banks during initial BVN capture, erroneously used the wrong date format. Try this and see, might be lucky.
justwise: I have only one Nigerian bank account and I have been using it for account for over 7yrs now.
Country wey sabi wetin den want. Not like us wey go employ person wey never play top football league or person wey de help coaches carry hin bag con de whine us say we be top football country 🤭🤣🤣🤣
fergie001: The 65-yo has won trophies in Italy, Spain, England & France. He will be the first foreign Manager to head the Selecao and the main focus will be to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, a tournament they have never missed since inception
Zahra29: Cooper just clarified in Parliament that some changes such as increasing the salary threshold will be brought in fairly quickly, while others will require consultation and primary legislation
Not really, more of transferring the risks associated with managing users' login credentials. Safer using OpenIDs like Google, Yahoo or Apple with very high level of security around their operations than just managing them on your own. Way to go @Seun!!!
mactoni91: Una sha want make google get everyone footprint.
True that. The ARM MMF gives close to 20-22% pa, they credit you daily (do your due diligence though). Good thing with it is that you have access to your funds at anytime (though when you first start, you must leave it in there for 90 days, subsequently, you can withdraw).
Lexusgs430: You could get 17% with branch, if you intend to lock your funds in (till maturity)......
I am considering moving some funds from Alat, into branch for the 17% Apr (but I keep remembering, NEVER to put all my eggs, in one basket)..... 🥚😂😁
I had the account with them before I relocated but I think if you download their app you should be able to register an account with them. I wasn't in Nigeria when I got the account. Good thing is you get a virtual account you can transfer funds into and it updates real-time.
justwise: Did you do that from here through the bank app?
Ha 😳 10k every week? Sounds good really. I do mutual funds (money market funds) with ARM (any other funds manager also that offer such) and I think they offer more.
Lexusgs430: Why not use branch? You get 17% APR for scheduled investment & 10% APR for ongoing investments......
An example of ongoing investment, 6M deposit, gives you 10K+ every week, paid out weekly....
Scheduled investment is paid out, at the end of term......
Haha ...when you do a search on "Fraud rate in Nigeria + Bank Name" the result tells a lot about the bank. FCMB gentle for the market not really good rates but no too much drama. They have an online banking app though called Rova.
Lexusgs430: Why are branch and wema, leaking baskets...... 🤔😱☹️
What's does FCMB UK, offer on savings account...... 😊😁
Same came to mind when I saw Streeting address the press after the elections
Zahra29: A very poor night for Labour, losing an extremely safe seat less than 1 year after the GE. In contrast, the former Labour govt enjoyed 6 years before their first byelection defeat. Likewise David Cameron had a decent honeymoon period before the Tory party started to decline.
It highlights how unpopular Labour currently is and if Starmer doesn't set about delivering further, faster and positive change, or at least get better at communicating the improvements they are making, then they will be the first government in recent times to do only 1 term. People want a dynamic leader and have little patience now for a steady, but slow/ overly cautious, civil servant type.
If the current trajectory continues, Labour is likely to have a different leader taking them into the next GE. My prediction is:
2029 GE: Labour leader - Wes Streeting Tory leader - Robert Jenrick Reform leader - Nigel Farage 🤐
This looks like leaving a leaking basket to another basket . I would suggest looking at FCMB UK for their non-resident Nigerian bank accounts @justwise
Lexusgs430: Assuming your NIN & BVN, don't require any form of updating.......
Alat, by Wema would serve you nicely....... 😁😂👌
Branch is also very good, but they have regional lockdown on app availability and hate for apk installation........ 😁
GistMedia0: A video has gone viral online showing a man visibly shocked after discovering that the hotel in Edo State, Benin, he paid ₦50,000 per night for could not provide running water due to a power outage — instead, placing yellow gallons of water in front of each guest’s room.
In the footage, the man is heard expressing disbelief at the situation. “After paying 50K per night, they couldn’t even pump water for us! They said there’s no light, and see what they’re doing — they dropped yellow gallons of water at every door like we’re in the village!” he lamented.
The scene, captured in the hotel corridor, showed neatly lined yellow gallons — one in front of each room. The man’s tone and body language reflected a mix of anger and ridicule over what he considered extremely poor service, especially for the high price.
The clip has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians criticizing the hotel's lack of backup power and water infrastructure, while others pointed fingers at the larger issue of unreliable electricity in the country.
