I tried shutting down my Freetrade SIPP and move to IE (its about £120 per annum). But IE does not do individual stocks (would monitor position).... 😁 |

Glad to hear that. Have you looked at other options like Wise and Grey accounts? Both are known evils but might come in handy if desperate to keep funds in the youkay. All the best to you. expensive007: Thanks for the clarification. They insisted I have to use only account details with matching names with government IDs. I have a domiciliary account, but I actually wanted the money to remain in UK till I get there. However, as it stands now, I'm using my personal account.
PS: I have used her account to receive monies from some foreign remote gigs several times and she's a trusted well-to-do friend with a good image to protect. |

Why would you want to liquidate your shares into your friend's (a lady) bank account? Your nor fear say she fit enter voicemail after the money hit the account? That should be your main worry and not what happens to her account. I would advice sourcing for alternative fund option and when you get here, liquidate and settle the loan back home. I'm not a financial advisor do your due dilligence shaa expensive007: I don't understand. Could you please shed more light on this? |

Hmmmm try de wear pant make pant nor wear you ooo 😌 expensive007: Greetings,
Experts in the house, please help me out on this. I have a shares in a UK based company and want to sell part. However, I want the money sent to a trusted friend within the UK itself.
I have the intention of coming to the UK via a research based course with my spouse, so I need the money to remain in the UK for important transactions.
I'm not taxable in the UK right now.
Now, my question is can this money be transferred to my friend without endangering her account since every financial activities are monitored?
I have heard a lot from some people about how such transactions may be suspected and flagged.
Thank you |

But ponmo nor badt naan if you know you know 🤭😂😂😂 detopea1: Few hours before we head into the new year, I haven't received my salary for the month of December.
I got a small job towards the end of the year.
The dude in charge of payment sent messages to everyone that payment has been made. I complained that I haven't received mine and no reply from the dude.
How do you sleep at night knowing you didn't pay someone his salary to enjoy his Christmas/new year? He's enjoying his fried chicken somewhere while I'm stuck with ponmo. This is really depressing!! |

You took the word out of my mouth. The pay is low for relocation out of Nigeria. On the other hand you can take it to build up your international work experience. Next would be to upskill and relocate to Germany for example where you will get more pay. pneumaticos: First one middle East.....not a great place for me Let them do their own job
Secondly....the wage is just too low That's about 750 USD per month
Why should a Nigerian go outside Like export his brain, body and life for 750 USD per month
If the guy got brain
He can do that 750 USD comfortably here exporting only the soft side of his skill Not himself as a whole
Better look for some other European countries than a place like middle East for work |

In a currency swap arrangement, the funds do not cross border rather when a Nigerian wants to purchase in China, the naira equivalent in RMB is released by the Central Bank of China to the merchant and reverse is the case if China is purchasing from Nigeria. Before now, the US dollar is used as the middle ground currency for the transactions. The advantage of the swap is the reduced strain on the US Dollars for China-Nigeria trades. nedu666: Na wa. So this buhari audio achievement is what tinubu wants to continue. Why would Chinese hold naira that is not acceptable outside Nigeria |

Food › Re: What I Bought With 9,500 Naira In Russia by bigtt76(f): 2:33pm On Dec 16, 2024 |
The line your oven tray with either foil or oil paper mushroomFarm: When it comes to food items, Yakutsk, Russia is probably the most expensive city in Russia.
Seven hours ahead of Moscow's time zone, eight hours ahead of Nigeria's, logistics of transporting food to Yakutsk adds up to the cost.
Also, at minus 63 degrees Celsius lowest temp. Yakutsk is the coldest city in the world. Farmers can only farm for about three months a year and livestock's farming requires considerably high amount of energy to maintain temperature requirements. These factors ensures that food prices remain high in Yakutsk especially in winter. But how expensive are these food items exactly?
One Turkey leg 108 Rubles About 1,550 in naira
0.5 kg Pig meat 227 Rubles About 3,200 in naira
One Whole chicken about 1.5kg 180 Rubles about 2,550 in naira
0.7kg Onions 66 Rubles About 950 naira
1kg Sweet Potatoes 94 Rubles About 1,350 in naira
Note: that Naira/Rubles exchange rate fluctuates between 14 to 14.5 Naira per Ruble
Also, even though these were the costs of these items, the supermarket still gave me a 5% discount on these items because I have a student ID card.
Note that these I purchased these food items in a retail supermarket. Also, things are expensive in Russia right now dues to sanctions which is the irony of the whole thing.
Despite economic issues and sanctions, Russia is still able to provide a quality standard of living to foreigners and their citizens even in a remote city like our Yakutsk.❤️ |
