Why did Ordega leave Levante UD to big spending CSKA Moscow?. Levante UD even agreed to let her go because of what they going to get from the deal...

Anyway I'm happy with the level of play in Spain right now, most of the Clubs are improving getting support from their male side. The Club that Shocked me this season was Villarreal, I thought they were going to be relegated until towards the end of the season things turned around... It also pained me so much that Rayo Vallecano one of Spain strongest Club then with several trophies and Champions League experience got relegated..
Ordega was finding game time hard to come by; she simply could not fight her way in. It's a good thing she could secure that move to where competition is not very rife- and she's actually well valued. It is worth noting that the Russian League is not actually attracting very big names.

Yeah, the Spanish league is definitely one of the very best at the moment, and the big investments made are seriously telling on their national teams.

The Swedish League 5th in Europe isn't that bad as it appears to you, Yes the standard has fallen due to the fact that most of the players are going abroad because of higher pay. Most of the players are after the money unlike before where they used to play and do other side jobs.

When the league best players start moving abroad do you expect it to remain the same?

Na where money da their belle da face oo
Forget old ranking... I've followed them for a while now- they've fallen lower than you think. Their best players did not leave there only because of pay.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Bigzigg(m): 11:03am On May 20, 2022
May I add that, but for the fact that we are in need of quality midfielders, our forwards could have been Oshoala, Onumonu and Ajibade. None of the other forwards come close. Ordega, who has seriously regressed, Kanu has not been able to bench, is it Ajibade she could have benched? Additionally, Ajibade is faster than all the other forwards, excluding only Oshoala, she's also very clinical- better than Oshoala.

You think Kanu can compete and out perform such Athletio Madrid players as Ludmilla, Kgatlana, Castellanos, etc? Can she even survive on that team?... Now, I seem to be hating on her, but I'm not!

Ordega, at this stage, should not be starting matches for us, but do you know why she does? THERE'S NO ONE BETTER!

Recent brace against Ghana, top scorer at the last WAFU played. 14 goals in 20 appearances in the Swedish league and she is scoring a bunch in Mexico right now. Her recent performance against Canada was top class, she was the biggest attacking threat on that team.
Brace against Ghana... Well, not too fantastic, I saw it! 14 goals in Swedish league... Their standards have fallen much, she should have, at least, stayed and replicated the performance. Mexican league is mediocre, but what did you say her statistics were? Her performance against Canada was average, nothing spectacular.

Any of you wondering how Charity Adule who's playing in 2nd Division in Spain made the list ahead of inform Ngozi Okobi??
You have any idea about her performance this season? Doesn't matter much that she plays in 2nd division, if her standard is high enough. Chikwelu, who plays at such top level, would you consider her standard high enough? I'd prefer not to spite the coaches cos they monitor these players. Besides, this will make other lazy players who'd come to believe that it is their birthright to be on the team list sit up.

Ajibade will bench KANU , ordega and okoronkwo , she's faster and more clinical than any of the 3 players ....Ajibade scored 10 league goals this season despite not playing regularly how many league goals did KANU , ordega and okorokwo scored this season ? Despite they play in a lesser league
You are on point. I don't like arguing back and forth like this, but I just want to set the records straight. I can't even understand why they keep arguing against this, cos it's not difficult to see it.

I stand with my Words, Ajibade is better as a Midfielder to me, by the way is she going to bench any of the following Asisat Oshoala, Ifeoma Onumonu, Fransisca Ordega and Uchenna Kanu upfront?? Let me include Esther Okoronkwo if she wasn't injured!
Apart from Oshoala and Onumonu, she can conveniently bench every other player you mentioned.

So, let me get this straight...
Ajibade, who has successfully benched the Brazilian striker Ludmila and the South African Kgatlana, hasn't proven she is a better striker than midfielder? . Ajibade, who is currently Atletico Madrid's top scorer this season is, according to you, is not a better forward performer than being a midfielder?
Reallyhuh I bet Oscar Ferandez, the Athletico Madrid coach will disagree with you.
What do I know? Maybe Kanu can do all that and more.

The Polish Women League is far ahead of the two you mentioned right now, the Belarusian league is currently on the down side unlike two years back. Most of the top players are going abroad (Russia especially), currently the league is mainly made up of of U17 and U20.. But Minsk FC and Dinamo Minsk remain the strongest club there..

I'm still clamouring for Regina Otu to move away from Belarus.
Isn't it better than the Turkish league too? And, yeah, Regina Otu should be playing in a very competitive league by now.

Ajibade is good as a midfielder but u can't compare her to Kanu if u are talking forward positions and yes Kanu scoring an other worldly amount of goals in America gave her popularity just like her recent performance against Canada should do the same.
Nah! Ajibade is a better player overall, doesn't matter if we're talking about a forward or midfield role, and this doesn't make Kanu a bad player. Kanu has specifically scored those goals during her US college football days, she's not yet brought it down to the Falcons.

Now , if we're talking of 'forward' role, Ajibade is still better. I make my judgement very carefully, using such criteria as conversion rate, quality of crosses, overall contribution a player brings.

Oparanozie and maclean are both same type of player no need inviting both of them and oparanozie is past it anyway and maclean plays in farmers league not good enough ihezuo has never done anything in the super falcons
I think the Polish League is better than the Belarusian and Israeli Leagues.

Not because of any popularity, She has been a good player till date, a Complete Striker who average at least 1 goal in two games..
I'm still going to disagree... She's always been a good player, but she has never been better than Rasheedat.

Maybe we're talking about different Ajibade and Kanu here...

You should be saying Ajibade has improved drastically or should I say the most improved Superfalcons player from 2018 till date.. Chiamaka Nnadozie is another
Sorry, Schermekiz, but Kanu has never been a better player. I'm guessing you judge based on the popularity she garnered while playing college football in the US.

Let's me be sharing with you guys....

By the way can Monday Gift bench any of the invited forward playing same position with her?
As long as I don't see her benching any starter( Oshoala, Onumonu, Ordega/ Kanu), she can continue her goalscoring spree.

I gave a hint about George issue some time ago but I didn't say it directly though.

Also gave hint on the invitation of the likes of Chinwendu Ihezuo, Anam Imo Maclean's Chinonyerem etc

Chikwelu over Okobi ( Me I nor get wetin i go talk oo cause person person don da vex for me already oo)

Have asked Karl already to help me confirm if Onome Ebi really signed for En Avant Guingamp.. still waiting for his response!
Can't remember any hints you gave about George's situation, though. Chikwelu's matter gives me headache, really, If I had my way I'd get her eliminated, like... She's a waste. I would have preferred Okobi- who's been out of form for a long while, cos she's younger.

I don't think I can ever trust that Anam Imo, not after that abysmal performance she put up at the last AWCON. Hope Macleans lives up to the billing, though she'd be a bench material. Anyway, I'm anticipating a very strong bench- only if the midfield can be set up in the best possible way.

Injury kick out Esther Okoronkwo... Shit
On Okoronkwo's part, I'd guessed right, but, you see that George issue... You get any update? Could it be they don't rate her? I would have really loved to see her play. Why is Okobi excluded while Chikwelu got included? Did Ebi really sign for Oparanozie's former club?

Just like I thought, an opinion formed about millions of AA women by watching tv. I don’t know what the hell News he is watching because an African-American woman was just appointed as a judge in the highest court in America.
My profile picture makes it obvious that I’m half African American and half Nigerian. I don’t know any African Americans who even come close to fitting those stupid stereotypes, especially the one about eating only cheese and burgers and not knowing how to cook.
Sorry, this is late, but what did I just read?... Like, how does that picture make it obvious that you are half African American? Also, what makes everything he put up there total stereotypes? You sound like a very ignorant person.

With 18 League goals this season, it's good to say that Maclean's Chinonyerem deserves a spot in the Superfalcon Provisional List for the AWCON Tournament in July...
While the Polish League is not rated, how well did she perform the few times she was invited to camp?

Doesn't matter..

She needs to learn how to lob the keeper.

She also needs to learn how to do feints or fake shots when she's one on one.

She also needs to learn how to push the ball towards her right side or left side when she's one on one.

At this point Regina Otu need to move to a more Competitive League, The Belarusian league is no longer what it used to be, The Pay and Standard is now very poor..

I will prefer to see her in the Turkish league instead or move to the tougher Spanish, French, Swedish or Norwagain side!
How is Turkish League better?

And you mean that Belarusian League is worse than it used to be? Where's the proof?... Also, Spanish and French Leagues are tough enough, but, you see that Swedish league? I think it's seriously deteriorated. For instance, our players, such as Ikidi, Okobi, Anam Imo, despite featuring constantly for their clubs, are not improving massively, even Sweden's best players now prefer playing abroad... Anyway, Swedish and Norwegian Leagues are good enough for Regina Otu to further polish her skills.

Interesting discussion, even though I am a bit late to the party...

The problem with Demehin and to some degree Debbie Abiodun is they have plateaued with regards what they can learn at the local level. I recall the same thing happening to Ajibade years ago, prior to her going overseas. As a footballer, there comes a point in time, especially for younger players, where you need a different environment to continue (actually, improve and maximize) your growth and development, primarily because you are not learning anything new or challenging in your current environment.

Ajibade, for me, is a perfect case study. I saw her performances at the 2018 WAFCON (before she went overseas) and comparing to now - the difference is like night and day. The timing of her move overseas, first to Avadnes (NOR) then Athletico Madrid (ESP) was absolutely perfect for her growth and development. Now we are seeing how she continues to evolve into becoming one of the very best players on the continent, without a doubt. Had she remained in the local leagues, she would never have evolved the way she has now.

Summary:
A lot of folks here just want to throw these youngsters into the deep end and expect they will swim (like they are in the youth teams). Often times, its premature, as most of them are simply not ready for it and they fail. That's why its very important that you carefully manage their growth and development, else the results might be catastrophic. Based on the few matches I have watched so far, there about six (6) players in the U20 team that could become really good enough for the Falcons IF their development is very well managed, namely Esther Onyenezide, Flourish Sabastine, Debbie Abiodun, Tosin Demehin, Omowunmi Oshobukola and Taiwo Lawal. I am sure there may be others who could shine in the U20 WC and beyond.
Absolute facts!

Look here, Esther Okoronkwo is another Smart striker we have, She's tactically discipline and technically gifted, even with her bodyframe she's so aggressive upfront, She plays mainly from the Left Wing and as a Center forward.

Between Okoronkwo, Kanu and Ordega who should be our third striker to pay with Oshoala and Onumonu...?
I'd prefer Okoronkwo.
