IMO, Ordega hasn't gotten back her old form... She's experienced no doubt, but I don't see her contributing much so far in the tournament...
Morocco defence isn't strong.. A pacy and tricky player like Kanu can put them under pressure.. Putting their defence under pressure will ensure they don't have enough freedom to attack us back...
I quite agree, but Kanu is selfish

Oshoala got injured, if Oparanozie was in this tournament she would have been the major Substitute to Onumonu if she doesn’t start…

You better not write her off…

Oparanozie is just 28yrs
Oparanozie has lost it, sorry. If we're to grow, we need to start looking beyond such players. Even Ordega is not her former self.

this is not only about giving the Falcons the credit they deserve...

Oshoala , Desire Oparanozie and Esther Okoronkwo should seat on the bench when they are fit, Infact Oparanozie days in the SF are done...

the SF first team should be the ones currently playing in this AFCON... replacements should be gotten for Chikwelu, Ebi, Ohale and anyone over 30 years old..

I won't fully judge Oshoala until I watch playing in a Super Falcons that doesn't have Chikwelu in midfield and Ohale in defense... because Ohale was just kicking long balls to Oshoala and abandoned the midfield and Chikwelu couldn't control the midfield..
Please, exclude Okoronkwo and Ohale... Oparanozie and Rita are wasted, they should be shown the way out, while Onome should prepare to retire.

Senegal Vs Tunisia

Cameroon Vs Botswana

The winners of the two matches will advance to the intercontinental FIFA World Cup playoffs to stand a chance of booking a ticket to the 2023 womens World Cup.

Who do you want to make it to the playoffs?
Senegal and Cameroon will make it.

You're right... Morocco have had the referees on their side in most of the games they have played so far, plus they are quite good with set pieces..So we have to be careful..

Under normal circumstances, they are no match for us...
This seems to be the case.

Esther is more important than the three of them combined. She's another Ajibade. Speed, Control, Ball sense.

Oparanozie will cancel out macleans with immediate effect. As George/Zogg against the two Ogbonnas. Time will tell how it goes. The Ogbonnas have not really made impact though.
Right!

daveP:
Let me start with the GK

I've observed that Oluehi doesn't shout at Ebi whenever she's lacking concentration. But she shouts at Alozie and Plumptre. Three games and she has done this.

Is this about Respect? Cos those other two are younger. We don't need such abeg. Ebi kept wrecking the offside trap as she always does. She rather run back towards goal than pick a player to track and mark.

For that first goal, it is all on Ebi. Before the winger sped past Plumptre, who eventually recovered, we see Ebi simply strutting comfortably towards the box with her eyes on the ball. she did not even look back one in 7seconds
Not once. By the time Plumptre was passed, the eventual scorer has already gone pass Ebi and scored. Guess what? Plumptre body language shows she blamed herself for that. But look at Ebi's body language. Pisses me off. Let me not even start with Ohale and Ayinde.

I noticed there were lots of body feints and rather short dummy passes that Rita can't even catch up with. Mothlalo really did absolutely well with distribution. It is painful that she's a maestro in the middle with her frame. She sabi pass. Opening up where necessary.

The two scorers played on the left wing but they all scored thru the centre. That should tell us where the problem is. I almost forgot Kgatlana was on the pitch cos Plumptre really stood up to the task.

As for that second goal, two things could have happened, but Alozie went for the direct one. Alozie could run back and cover the scorer and leave a blank in centre. Alozie probably thought the offside trap was on. Guess who ruined it? Ebi. Ohale was not marking anybody. So Alozie was doing two things.

The seniority in this team is wack to wield. You can't be forming senior and be playing crap to people that are technically better than you are. Rita came off and Ikechukwu suddenly made the middle look like ours against. Ajibade looks like someone that fits coming on as a sub, especially if the tactics of the coach is not ever going to favor her role in middle.

The big ladies failed us.

Onumonu was sad she had a bad game. The fact that Ebi assisted doesn't absolve her of a very abysmal display despite her clearances (5).

Then after the match... Was that some argument between her and Ordega??

Plumptre's statement is perfect.

If these ladies can't give their all, they should stop being available for the benefits the GWG gives. The coach is wack to start with. He fits a training session coordinator. I can count how many times he stood up to shout at his team. I didn't even see a tactical pad around the bench.(pun intended).

Look at their midfield setup, Energy and passing prowess. Like these 4 mainly focused on distribution and track backs.

Modified

My aunt is a fan of Mercy Akide set and she was wondering why these guys didn't attempt shots at goal from outside the box.

Let me quickly add that our crossing game is wack still. If we engaged in some practices, at least the defenders will equally improve. Ajibade no sabi cross. She should focus on shots.

They just stressed Plumptre, Alozie and Onumonu for us. Mtchew
This is just excellent!

Can somebody tell me what Rita Chikwelu is still doing on that team? Edwin Okon realized that Rita, Faith Ikidi and the ilks were useless and decided to weed them, but some dumb coaches had to bring them back.

Coach Waldrum is a dumb coach, he knows nothing about coaching.. I started losing confidence in him when I saw him heap praises on Ghana and Ivory Coast, despite their mediocre performance, together with Nigeria... How the hell does he not realize that Chikwelu is too old and useless?

Randy, despite having been with the team for a while now, does not seem to understand the areas where the team is lacking (a team that lacks basic football skills, cannot complete simple passes), does not understand the players, has no clear play pattern and tactics. Nigeria has clearly got better players than those South Africans, but the Nigerian team does not gel, all thanks to the coaching crew.

The Zambian fans are over the media accusing Houston Dash and Cameroonian Striker Michaela-Batya Aban of being a man…

The 25 year old top Cameroonian striker Michaela-Batya Abam only managed one shot on target in their Group B WAFCON opener against Zambia.

The American-born Cameroonian striker who plays for Houston Dash in the US’s National Women's Soccer League and former Real Betis player was highly rated before the match but suffered the wrath of Martha Tembo.

If Coach Randy Waldrum is to play 2 CB… there’s a Problem for him picking between Osinachi Ohale, Onome Ebi and Ashleigh Plumptre.. Akudo Ogbonna is an understudy to them for sure…

Randy will hardly bench Onome Ebi as she’s the Captain and the most experienced player in the team and the WAFCON as a whole, She’s also very much fit right now…

Osinachi Ohale brings more to the defence, Strength, Speed, tight marking and excellent aerial presence..

Ashleigh the youngest between them is tactically sound and reads the game very well.. She offers a lot going forward in terms of aerial ball and her technical way of defending…!

Coach Randy Might settle for 3CBs or move Ashleigh to the Left Back position… as I would gladly play Ashleigh, T Payne or N Payne ahead of Ogbonna at left back…
I think this will not be an easy a decision to make on coach Randy's part, but he might do exactly like you suggested.

I'm still not convinced. I believe there's something they are not telling the public again some of the fans are claiming she’s hermaphrodite.
Don't tell me you're doubting them... That lady alone can destroy any team, not because of any special talent, but because of abnormal power for a woman. Her chest is even 100 percent flat.

I just knew there was something abnormal about her. One obvious thing is that, that Zambian team is useless without her. Kudos to CAF on this!

I will prefer they continue with 4-3-3 or the 3-5-2 Considering the Caliber of Center Backs we have, playing Onome in-between Ohale and Plumptre..

Again There's no need playing Ayinde as DM when you already have the Combative duo of Ucheibe and Otu, either of them can do the job very well... Ayinde will have to remain in Central Midfield position where she can easily operate as a double pivotal Midfielder playing Box-to-Box allowing whosoever that is playing the AM have more freedom to do her job..
With the 3-5-2, Tony Payne and Alozie will also benefit well as Wing Backs...
Upfront should have Oshoala and Onumonu with the rest coming in as Substitutes...But this might reduce our attacking threat upfront...
Where would you have Toni Payne and Rasheedat positioned?

I'm expecting an excellent performance from the team due to the mix of players it parades- youth and experience, they look fit too. Last edition was full of tired legs, with many unfit players, resulting in a lackluster performance. I only hope Chikwelu will not be given much game time... In fact, she should never spend more than 20 minutes on the pitch on each match, and retire after the tournament.

There's Solgado in the SA team. She's currently their rising star ...

The depth we have no team have it in the AWCON..

Talking about having Fullbacks, We have them
Michelle Alozie isn't a natural Right Back but she gets better with every game she plays..

Again Nicole Payne is an excellent and the fastest full back in the team going forward and back, her only problem right now is her final deliveries( Decision Making) after overlapping. Use the first game against Canada as a case study, she had the chance from her flank down to the Canadian box18 but her final pass was off, if she can work on this I bet she would be a superb full back as she's good playing Left/Right. Her mentor is Alexander Alnord and Lucy Bronze and she plays similarly like them..

As for Glory Ogbonna, I will say she's the weakest link among the full backs..
I agree, wholeheartedly!

Though she's good, she's achieved nothing yet, therefore does not deserve that accolade.

You could argue that she's more clinical in front of goal than Oshoala, but that's not where it all starts and ends, cos there're a few other Nigerian players who are more clinical than Oshoala as well.

He created people with deformity

Each puzzle pieces has unique shape
When you put all puzzles together
You get a Full Image of God.

These Cross dressers are part of God just that they are different.

What is passing technique
Passing technique refers to the entire complement of passing skills. A player's passing technique refers to number of passing skills the player brings to his game.

What are the skills that composites the technique of passing
Listed below are passing skills:
a) Short pass.
b) Long pass.
c) Chipped pass.
d) Crossing. I included crossing as a passing skill in the study.

How i performed the calculation used for the ranking
1) The number of passing skills a player brings to his game.
2) The accuracy at which each of the passing skill was executed.
3) The average number of the each of the passing skill completed per game .
That your list is laughable, boss!

She had an excellent performance yesterday, I was really impressed if not over impressed... The issue here is not about appreciating what they have upfront but about our own Player getting better so she can at least Compete for the best individual awards...

If Asisat Oshoala can be converting most of those chances I bet there's no way she wouldn't be in top3 strikers in the World...

The likes of Samantha Kerr, Vivian Miedema, Ada Hegerberg, Anthionette Katoto are not that better than Oshoala they just convert most of the chances they get if not Asisat Oshoala have advantage over them like her Speed and Strength, The way Oshoala presses her opposition defenders is far ahead of the rest, she needs to be more clinical that's all.. As a Striker what matters most is Scoring goals..
Excellent!.. Exactly what I keep saying.

Atletico Madrid Femenino problem this season was getting the right full players, most of them weren't in form this season, Change of Coaches affected them..

Next Season will be tougher.

Barcelona Femenino, Real Sociedad, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid Femenino especially. Levante UD is a good side but lost a lot of good players to the big spending Clubs.

Real Madrid are currently hunting for Big Players, they have the money but their management looks somehow! If they can get top players like Barcelona Femenino I bet the league will be in top2 in Europe!
A few players may not have been in form, but I think change of coach affected them the more... Yeah, next season will definitely be tougher. Those five clubs are very strong, a few would have to sort some issues out b/4 next season so they can even be more competitive.
