NYSCRe: Your NYSC Questions Answered by Bigzigg(m): 2:10pm On Apr 28, 2024
cryI have a friend who has a similar issue
kiss[quote author=zerojinx post=129116073]Good afternoon people, when I registered JAMB in 2015 they made a mistake in my DOB, they used June 2 1966 instead of June 2 1996 I figured this error out when I was in 200L and went back to JAMB to rectify it. They told me it was done and gave me a form to fill and submit to my school, which I did. Months later I checked my JAMB profile and noticed it was changed. Until yesterday I registered NYSC batch A stream 2 2024 and when I was done with the registration, the last page that was supposed to bring up my call up later brought out to collect my exemption letter from my school because my DOB showed June 2 1966.
I
Please I need help on what step to take next, I even went to NYSC office in Surulere but they said they can't help me, I also called the NYSC mobilisation officer from my school and he said he used June 2 1996 and doesn't know what to do. Please guys I really appreciate any help.

What kind of mother is that pushing you out of her house at age 20? Even mature adults are finding things hard in this present naija, not to talk of kids your age, except you are stubborn or not contributing for upkeep, I suggest you go to a relative close by for your peace of mind.

Modified:
I keep saying it that most nl peeps didn't come from a healthy family background, they always see their upbringing as the basis and right, see how most of them are supporting the mother, this is not the western world for goodness sake, their standard of living and way of life is not same as ours, Op's mother is suppose to look for how to secure admission to a University for him at that age 20, that is what concerned and caring parents would do

Op where is your dad?
Excellent comment!

Her current energy and flow, i won't lie, nobody get am for Waldrum's team. Maybe Alozie.

How sweet it will be seeing our ex-ints coaching CafWCL teams in coming years. It will be great.

So far, I'm impressed with the Competition. It's overwhelming.
You had me lost at your first paragraph.

Not at all, My saying is that with the unavailability of some of the key players we shouldn’t be losing at such margin… like the 4nil..

They available one should be able to hold their against any team and give the regulars that were absent a run for their spot..
Realistically, we do not possess such squad depth as the Germans do.

Germany played without most of their regular starters against the US…

They played without their regular midfielders… Dzennifer Marozan, Melanie Leupolz , Sara Dabrinz, Lena Oberdorf..
Huth who’s one of their Senior player and a regular striker from the Flank was on the Bench..

Two of their starting Center Backs Hendrich and co didn’t even start and they still defeated the USWNT…

I think it’s high time, we stop using unavailability of some of our regular starters as excuse, Coach Randy is a Big time flop
Are you suggesting we pack any group of players and go play a team like USA, and expect to win just because Germany did and succeeded?

Good game. The positional play tactics of the German team was nice to watch. Their technical abilities are impressive.
Waoh, USA being beaten anyhow these days.

If Guardiola coaches them then Super Falcons will win the world cup..

Ajibade and Oshoala are the best strikers in the world.

Look at Haaland in Man City then imagine having 2 Haalands in your team or having Lewandowski and Haaland in your team..

That's how strong the Super Falcons are...
Sorry, what did you call Oshoala and Ajibade? Some Nigerians are really funny.

Our full back looks weak. I'll somehow pick Pat while Desire or Ify make way. Monday Gift and Peace Efih are another two players I'd love to have in the squad but it is very tough to find a place for them.
Sorry, Desire will rather make way than Onumonu.

Don't you know what they call squad depth ?
I think you're thinking of the depth of Barca and Lyon, but Athletico Madrid actually has enough depth.

The comments obviously had a context and had nothing to do with how big or small Ath. Madrid is. The expressed concerned was primarily about competitiveness, overall success and being title contenders.

Athletico Madrid has finished 4th/5th in the last 4 years and haven't featured in Europe because of this. It's obvious Ajibade is a fantastic player, but her club success is going to play a big role in her individual success hence my concern.

BTW, don't know what your metrics for "big" is (outside the context of my comments), but there are clubs in England and France that are obviously bigger than Athletico Madrid
In my opinion, the top five teams in the Spanish league are competitive enough, hence my use of BIG. Also, A/Madrid is competitive enough with just a few additions, even with its current squad. I never meant there were no bigger/ more competitive clubs in those leagues as compared with Athletico Madrid, but they're very few.

Succinctly put, a player who is very competitive and consistent in a club like A/Madrid is very much okay by me... Everyone need not play for Barca.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Bigzigg(m): 12:46am On Aug 28, 2022

The challenge though is that the team isn't deep enough in my opinion to be real contenders. I really hope she moves to a bigger team. If Spain Barcelona, or any of the giants in England or France.
Are you exactly suggesting that Athletico Madrid isn't big enough? Like.. is Barca the only big team in Spain, in those other two leagues, how many teams are bigger than Athletico Madrid?
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Bigzigg(m): 9:34am On Aug 22, 2022
And this is the same coach Nigerians were praising so much and also suggested to be included in the Super Falcons coaching crew. Our girls are incredibly talented and so young, but the Dutch are clearly tactically and technically better.

Out of all the departments, I'm most impressed by the midfielders and believe Onyenezide has everything it takes to compete in the Falcons' attacking midfield. In all, the girls are mostly raw, they just need serious honing. I hope some of them will get signed by teams that will help them develop quickly.

Nawa… no wonder you guys will always say this Shit, as if you have a better Attacking Midfielder that can replace her now or bring what she brings to the Midfield..!

28yrs already a Spent Player, I wonder what you guys will say about Ajibade when she get to that age! We’re watching.
Come on, she's SPENT! She's got nothing new
to offer, are you blind to this? The Super Falcons are going nowhere with such players. Also, Nigeria can never become a football powerhouse with such players as her, Chikwelu, Oparanozie, Ordega, Ebi( as difficult as it is to say), etc.. We've seen what they can offer, It's now time for them to leave.

As for the comparison you made btw her and Ajibade, I don't understand. You mean, a player that, despite playing in Europe for several years without improving at 28yrs, that's the same you're comparing with Ajibade who has continued to grow in leaps and bounds at just 22. Is it the same Ajibade who is better than Okobi at her( Okobi's) primary Attacking midfield role, and at every other position on the pitch you're making that comparison with?
