Ronaldo did not score more goals than Henry in his European club career (goals in dutch league are worth less u failed statistician. . . . olodo rabata )
Henry had about 10 times more assists than Ronaldo in his club career.
Henry has had a longer more productive career.

Besides noise and a lot of smileys u can't make one rational argument to support your case. How do u ignore about 10 assists a seson in Henry's favour and equally matched goal hauls. It's pointless having a debate if u ignore evidence just because it disproves something u've always held as true.

Henry's club career has been better than Ronaldo. when u have new info to prove other wise, get at me. Otherwise stop making noise.  grin
Ronaldo has played less games than Henry because of injury, and when he has played, he has had the higher goal scoring ratio.
Henry is french and was lucky to start his career in Europe, while Ronaldo had to start in Brazil and holland. Yet by 1997, at age 20, Ronaldo had become the WPOTY solely on his club performances, while Henry was just getting a regular starting spot at Monaco in the lowly french league.
Even if henry played till he was 100yrs, he will never achieve the kind of legacy that Ronaldo has, both at club and NT levels.
You must have really lost your marbles to compare Henry to Ronaldo.

I've conceded international football to Ronaldo.

I'm comparing their club careers. .  and no one has made any argument that shows otherwise. Ronaldo did not have a better club career than Henry. you can take that to the bank!!

Forget Henry's goals sef. .  the assists he has put up over his career (just the numbers) are enough to put him in contention for world's best playmaker. . . He is that good   cool cool
and what is ur yard stick?
Ronaldo has played for 4 of the biggest clubs in Europe, winning top scorer in all the leagues he has played in, and has an overall goal scoring ratio of 0.7.
What has henry done that is comparable? the only thing henry has won that Ronaldo never did, was the CL.
Henry never scored more than 40 goals in a season, and yet Ronaldo scored 47 for Barcelona.

It is tantamount to  treasonable felony to compare O Fenômeno to Henry, and only a cule would be silly enough to do it.
One of the greatest footballers of all time, 3x WPOTY and the youngest player to ever win the award, should not be compared to Henry, who is very far from the company of players we are talking about.

Admit it. . . . .You are an idiot!!!

U are even counting a season when Ruud was injured and appeared in 17 games??
What won't this idiot do to score cheap points.
Why not add Henry's injury-plagued season to your watery mathematical skills and balance this up. . . .

Ruud whups Henry's record in the Premiership.
His 5 years was greater than Henry's overall career in the Premiership and that's a FACT.
and you are the kind of fool that comes in a paper bag, stamped imported!
You said Ruud had a better goal/game ratio than Henry in the 5 seasons they were together. I proved you wrong, and now you are looking for excuses under the banner of injuries.
Admit your error and go off to a closet to lick your wounds while preparing for your arithmetic classes.

This Biina is a fool. . . . .Ruud met Henry in the EPL and left him in the EPL so what 5 years are you talking about?
Ruud was here between 2001 and 2006. . . .In those years, he had a higher goal/game ratio than Henry.
Don't even try to spray gloss paint over your goofs. . . . .

Tell us how Henry's goal ratio was better than Ruud in Ruud's 5 season spell in the EPL.
The amount of stupidity platelets running through your veins can sink the TITANIC.
EPL Goals in individual season

Goals/match in EPL
Year         Ruud         Henry
2002      23/32      24/33
2003      25/34      24/37
2004      20/32      30/37
2005      06/17      25/32
2006      21/35      27/32

Total EPL goals/game in the 5 seasons
Ruud  95/150 = 0.63
Henry 130/171 = 0.78

Total Club goal in the 5 seasons
Ruud 150/219 = 0.68
Henry 166/242 = 0.69

A lot of people speak and type jargons.
Very true. An example is what u wrote:
What is the work of  a striker? to score goals. Ruud is  a better goal scorer than Henry. His goal to match ratio is well ahead of Henry. He has more club honours than Henry. If ruud had played with the professor he would have scored and won all to win wrt national team. France -zidane = Togo.

Henry only won 2 league titles with Arsenal something common carrick had won 3rice.

without messi and eto'o henry wonuldn't have won the Ucl.
The work of a striker is to score goal abi?
Ruud and Henry were in the same league for 5yrs. Henry outscored Ruud in 4 of the 5 seasons, and had a higher goal to game ratio in same 4 season and overall.
He has won the european golden boot on two occasions. An award Ruud has never won.

Beckenbauer applies pressure on Van Gaal
Bayern Munich president Franz Beckenbauer wants the team to achieve better results immediately, thereby applying additional pressure on manager Louis van Gaal.
In an interview with Bild, Beckenbauer said that improvement has to be visible right away: "Louis van Gaal must find the right answer against Wolfsburg on Saturday.
"Of course Van Gaal isn't happy either. Nobody here is. Against Hoffenheim, we were sleeping for 30 minutes. Against Bremen, the comeback came too late. And against Mainz, the first half was the problem," Beckenbauer said.
Van Gaal himself isn't particularly worried, despite the fact that Bayern is experiencing its worst season start in 43 years.
"I'm not worried. I know what I am capable of. I have twenty years of experience."

Henry's achievement
As a member of a team includes
- World Cup
- Euros
- Champions League
- League Championship (EPL, La Liga and Ligue 1)

As an Individual
- European Golden Boot (2x: 2004, 2005)
- Premier League top scorer (4x: 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006.)
- English Football Hall of Fame: 2008
- 2nd place FIFA World Player of the Year (2003, 2004)
- 2nd Place Ballon d'Or in 2003 and 3rd Place 2006

If you want to limit great players to only those that won WPOTY and BdO, you will exclude players like Raul, Maldini, Ruud, Buffon, Khan etc, and explain why players like Owen, Sammer and Papin should be considered.

Having one great season could get you a BdO award but doesnt necessarily make you a great player.

Henry was fortunate/unfortunate to have contemporaries with the likes of Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo etc. He is a world quality player in his own right.
CR7 is not yet as good as henry was, but he still young, and I expect that by the time he is 30+ he will have bettered henry by a decent margin that it would not be debatable.

Everton accept Lescott bid
Everton have confirmed they have agreed a fee with Manchester City for the sale of defender Joleon Lescott.
The England international is expected to undergo a medical on Monday after City finally came up with a bid which met the Merseysiders' valuation of the player.
Having rejected two previous offers - the first about £18million - Everton are reported to have accepted £24million from City for Lescott.
Toffees boss David Moyes was unhappy that the Eastlands club, bankrolled by Abu Dhabi's multi-millionaire Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan, were not prepared to pay what he thought was the going rate from the outset.
Asked if the Lescott deal was well advanced the Everton boss said following Sunday's 1-0 Barclays Premier League defeat at Burnley: "If they (City) say they are quite far on I'm sure they are. But we shouldn't have been asked to wait this length of time for an amount of cash we think was the correct value for the player.
"Real Madrid came in with the money (£80million for Cristiano Ronaldo) for Manchester United the week after the end of the season. If the money had been offered in June it would have been a lot easier for us. The time is against us (to find a replacement)."

Rummenigge concerned for struggling Bayern
Bayern Munich coach Louis van Gaal is coming under growing pressure after the club's worst start to a Bundesliga season in 43 years.
A 2-1 defeat to Mainz left the record German champions languishing near the foot at the table with just two points from their first three games of the season.
Even Van Gaal's predecessor Jurgen Klinsmann, who was sacked after 10 months in charge last season, managed to win at the third attempt.
Next weekend sees Bayern face defending Bundesliga champions Wolfsburg.
"It is very serious,'' admitted chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. "We have got to turn the corner and the next game is going to be very difficult.''
Wolfsburg were hoping to move seven points clear of Bayern at the top of the table by making it three wins out of three against Hamburg, but even the worst-case scenario would see them arrive at the Allianz Arena with a four-point cushion.
Rummenigge warned: "This is not a situation that we can be happy with. It is a dangerous situation which we must get out of as quickly as possible.''
Van Gaal made two substitutions before half-time, such was his disappointment with the 11 men he sent out onto the field.
Without the injured Franck Ribery, Bayern again lacked ideas and Miroslav Klose failed to do justice to his position behind Mario Gomez in the attack.
Van Gaal was unable to find an explanation for his side's poor form.
"I don't know what we have done wrong in pre-season,'' he said. "We are still looking for the right style of play for this team.
"We just cannot start games the way we started. It was very disappointing. That was a false start.
"We tried to put it right in the second half, but that is always too late in football. You have got to start from the first minute.''
While Bayern were left grimacing after another lacklustre performance, Mainz coach Thomas Tuchel was celebrating his first win as coach against arguably the most illustrious of opponents.
"I am incredibly proud of what my team did,'' Tuchel said.
Tuchel was appointed less than three weeks ago to replace Jorn Andersen, who had led Mainz to promotion to the Bundesliga last season.
But in those three weeks, he has made himself as much a cult figure at the club as Jurgen Klopp, who left last year after two successful decades as a player and coach.
According to general manager Christian Heidel, Tuchel has already done more than any of his predecessors managed.
"What Thomas Tuchel did tactically today is the best here in 20 years,'' Heidel said.
