BreconHills:Please tell me you are not really this stupid? If not to intimidate voters and tamper with the election, why do you need the people swearing in a video that they will vote for APC? What they are doing is voter intimidation at the least and it is illegal, but then this is Nigeria, where it is "good morning" at 12 midnight |

Hussein035:See stupidity in its full regalia! na so you mumu reach? Why do you want photocopies of people's pvcs and their polling booth? Why do you want the officers to swear that they will vote for APC? is it not because you know they wont vote for your party willingly? Only foolish people like you will think this is acceptable. You are so focused on your selfish interest in the short term, that you ignore the suffering that will soon befall you, your family and descendants. Some of us are old enough to have lived through almost all of Nigeria's elections, and all these nonsense are nothing new. At the end of the day, only more suffering awaits all. Even those in power today, their descendant will still end up in suffering. Until we can have free and fair elections, Nigeria cannot move forward. So for you and anyone else who acts and/or support acts that denies Nigerians their right to express their electoral free will, na God and man go punish una, your relatives and descendants. May the suffering your actions cause the average Nigerian, descend on your relatives and descendants a million folds. May you and your descendants lack free will in the most important choices of your lives 1 Like |

I really dont care who wins the elections but anyone that acts and/or supports acts that stop the people from expressing their free will to elect their leaders, na God and man go punish all una, your relatives, and, your descendants. May you all suffer and not know peace for the rest of your miserbale lives. |

FreeStuffsNG:Why didnt you verify that before the last election? Almost 90% of PVC for lagos were collected, so there is no question of if people have their pvc. Why dont you wait till after the election? what will change between now and then? why the sudden need for this "verification" just before the next round of polling? You want people to submit their pvc so that you can manipulate the election? Afraid that your candidate cannot win a free and fair election? You must think say na everyone be dense mumu like una Both God and man go punish all of una and your descendants! 371 Likes 35 Shares |

Menclothing:and this is the same thing in your stupid mind? Why does your boss need to know "where you live and where your polling booth is".? What kind of "assistance" does he want to provide? But his objective was made clear " ensure our employer does not loose his seat,"? If Sanwolu is the best Gov, why is he trying to intimidate voters and stop them from exercising their free will? The only one Sanwolu losing can "affect" is the idiot MD himself. Wont be surprised if he is afraid that his corruption and incompetence would be exposed. |

Wetin concern your boss with your pvc and personal information? This is simply voter intimidation and in any decent country the guy would have been arrested. But in Nigeria, such is lauded by some idiots. Anyone that thinks that actions like this are acceptable, deserve all the suffering and economic hardship they, and their relatives and descendant, get in Nigeria (or anywhere else they may be) |

If you were sure that your candidate was the better option, you wont be threatening others with violence over exercising their civic rights. The likes of you are not new in Nigerian politics. Your forebears did worse. But dont worry, just like them, your suffering has just begun. Even your descendants will suffer for your stupidity. |

BTCJagaban:This is just plain nonsense What has Nigeria or the North "becoming digitized" have to do with anything? What is next - Nigeria needs to be nuclear capable before we can burn firewood? All that is required for real time electronic transmission (and even e-voting) is for INEC and it's officers to have the needed technology to do such. 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Election Rigging: Uploaded Results Gives APC Away Such That No Judge Can Excuse by biina: 11:52pm On Mar 03, 2023 |
Mynd44:If all you are focused on is who wins the election, then you have missed the more fundamental issue. The point is not about who wins (and not just the presidency, but every position contested), but that we should have credible, free, and fair elections. Whoever the people truly voted for as their leader, is the leader that they deserve. But when the outcome of an election is independent of the votes of the people, then the politicians will never be responsible to the people, but instead reward those that (will) helped them rig themselves into power |
Politics / Re: Tinubu: Ghanaians Dragging Their President For Congratulating Tinubu by biina: 5:45pm On Mar 03, 2023 |
ScamHunter:One can still understand a politician and his touts trying to rig elections, but the bigger problem in Nigeria is the electoral, security and judicial officers, whose primary responsibility is to maintian the integrity of the process, that instead become the tools through which the people are disenfranchized and the will of the people stolen. Unfortunately the penalty under the electoral act is too light and not enough to discourage these criminals. Electoral fraud should be classed under treason imo, after all, the argument can be made that they are trying to undermine a legitimate government from coming into being. At some point, the masses will need to take matters into their own hands and make scape goats of these criminals, so that others will think twice before colluding with politicians to steal elections. The names of most of these corrupt INEC offcials are on the documents that they manipulated. If INEC can not conduct free and fair elections, then of what use are they to the people? 2 Likes 1 Share |

Its saddening that after so many decades and attempts, we still cant hold free and fair elections (even June 12 was stage managed). But then it is not surprising given that we cant conduct a true census, dont have reliable electricity and lack potable water in most of the country. Yet many of my people continue to focus their efforts on stoking tribal and/or religious sentiments, which only serve to facilitate the incompetence and corruption of the failures that some call leaders. A very sad nation - smh. |

FarahAideed:I blame the high level of corruption and electoral malpractices that are the norm in Nigeria, else why would an idiot like you have an opportunity to be posting nonsense. People are free to vote for whoever they want. What we need is free and fair elections, where the outcome reflects the wishes of the people, not all these shameful nonsense that seems endemic in our society, where people that dont even contest can be declared winners of elections. Nigerians at some point need to shift their anger onto all the INEC and security personnel that are complicit in robbing people of their true choice (independent of party) at any level. 1 Like |

Instead of focusing on the competence ( or lack thereof) of the candidate, your are busy advertising you bigotry and trying to stoke ethnic sentiments. This is the same stupid tribal politics that has been preached for decades and has only cemented over 90% of every part of the country in poverty. Once the law allows him to contest, the right choice should be the most competent and (hopefully) least corrupt candidate. Perfectbeing:and all the names and signatures on it were forged as well? The problem with idiots like you is that you are short-sighted and have failed to learn from history. All those that supported and/or condoned the rigging of past elections in Nigeria, are their children, relatives and/or descendants not suffering the consequences till today? The arrant stupidity of the south - while we disrupt the election and disenfranchise our own people, the North (and their cows) are busy voting en bloc for their own candidate. Eventually we will end up under northern rule for another 8yrs. 65yrs and we still haven't learnt our lesson. |

How can anyone take the current supreme court seriously, when they award candidacy to those that never contested in the primaries.
