The truth is that when someone you love dies, you never quite get over it.

I lost my mum 23yrs ago. She was such a wonderful woman, we will always miss her.

I lost my dad 9 yrs ago, a strict disciplinarian and jolly fellow.

I lost two elder brothers, one in oct 2004 and another one last year dec.

The pain still feels like yesterday. I pray that God will continue to keep watch over the families they left behind and may their souls continue to rest in peace(amen).

My mum was my all in all. She was a strong woman, religious and ever loving. She was always there, i miss her most when I go thru trying times cos she was a great confidant. The sacrifices she made for we, the children are just too numerous to mention.
If I should come back to this world, I pray to still come thru you.

Its really tough losing a luvd one but God knows best.

Lol! at some responses. But he no easy sha o. Kudos to our mothers.
I had my first child thru a C-section and this second one naturally. I'd built up my faith and prayed to God to give me the strength to pull thru. I had also read a lot about V-Bac, so i just believed in God and promised not to shed a tear bearing it in mind that hubby was not in town.
GOD proved HIS might that night. I was so prayerful thru out but it got to a point when the contractions proper started. WOW!!! I kept saying ''Nurse i want to sit up,no stand up sorry i want to lie down'' and she responded: Sorry you have to remain in this positon.
The pain was just something else. After some mins i just screamed out ''Nurse I want to POO POO'' she responded: Sorry Madam you are not fully dilated, i don't want you to tear your cervix. Such a patient lady, i can't count the no of times i pinched her arm while she rubbed my waist.
My bundle of joy was worth the pains as soon as I set my eyes on her. May our children continue to be a source of joy to the parents and a blessing for their generation(amen)

To the glory of God, I delivered a baby girl at 10:20pm on monday night (27th aug).
I still went to work and closed past 6pm only to get home around 7pm to observe my bag of water has broken. I just packed my bags and drove down to the hospital cos husby is not in town (I have actuallly been driving myself to and fro office right from day one of the pregnancy)
I had built up my Faith in God that I will have a Supernatural childbirth without complications this time because I had my first child thru CS.
God showed His might on that night as contractions started few minutes after I got into the hospital, by 9pm I was 7cm dilated.The nurse in charge was so calm and friendly (i can't remember the no of punches that i gave her on her arm LOL)
The contractions were so frequent now that i just kept screaming, nurse i want to poo poo and she will respond no madam you are not fully dilated, pls do not push so that you don't tear your cervix.
I finally pushed out my little girl by 10:20pm and i just give glory to the Almighty cos He made me have the last laff over my enemies who had said once a CS always a CS. I stood by God's promise and He saw me thru to the end.
My EDD was aug 24th which was also my ante natal day. The matron requested that i give her my appoint ment card so that she will book me for 31st since there was no sign of labour yet(that means I will be 41wks then) but I politely told her NO.I said I will come and have my baby before end of the week and as far as i was concerned that was the last antenatal i wll come for.She actually commended me on my faith when she saw me on tuesday morning.
My fellow sisters just know that with FAITH in God,nothing is IMPOSSIBLE. The birth of this glorious child of mine had really drawn me much more closer to God.
Wish all the preggies a safe,smooth and fast delivery.You shall enter the delivery room and deliver safely by His grace(amen)

I quite agree with posters dat said nothin is as good as been your own boss.My advise for those with such bosses is to keep on persevering till they get a better offer or become an enterpreneur.
I work in a bank and had dis BOSS dat was just too nice(in quote) She gives queries at will n copies our 2nd level supervisor for every error made up to the point of lying against the staff in question..Pple were not just happy on the job cos she made it so difficult.You must show up in the office when sick. She went as far as scoring us low in appraisal and giving horrible remarks lyk ''Remain on same grade''
She apprvd our leave for only 10days instead of 22days and several other inhuman stuffs lyk dat.
We turnd to God for help n HE answered.
She was moved to another branch n presently works in Cash mgt centre. How d high n mighty fall, u wil say from the post of a Branch operations mgr I believe its d law of karma cos u reap wat u sow.
Thnk God for the new dawn anyway.

Hello house, not been here 4 a while. To d glory of God, av been doin quite well, now close to 30wks.
I do av mild backaches, don't knw if its due 2 d nature of my job(I work in a bank n sit a lot though I walk around @ intervals)
I will like to ask if its medically advisable 2 continue drivin? I intend drivin till d d-day sha.

@ Agibona tnx for ur concern. Mine was nt a big deal really, it happens for a few seconds wheneva I stare too long at my office PC. My urine n blood was taken for test then n I was cleared. I was not eatin too well then cos of d nausea n bland taste, so I guess d weakness made me feel dizzy atimes.
I'm much more stronga n beta now(infact i've added up a little weight sef)
No cause for alarm, av learnt not 2 believe in doctors report but dat of God cos am a livin testimony of His goodness.

I'm a silent follower on dis thread n will like to share my testimony.
I had my first child(a girl) in feb 09 thru CS(did'nt dilate beyond 4cm), got preggy without tryin in may 2010 but it resulted in a blighted ovum. I had to go for evacuation in july 2010, felt lik dyin then cos it was ova 2mths n I already had a slight bump.
Well we av been TTC since den, i can't count d no of fake preggy symptoms dat I had, my husby just kept on reassurin me dat it will cum at God's tym. I casted my worries on Him dat He dat did it b4 will surely do it again n I held on dis testimony dat 2011 wil not pass me by.
I got my BFP in dec2011, d pregnancy progressed den I startd spottin in its forth wk(devil is a liar). I went for scan thrice durin dis period n they all revealed dat all was well. D doc placed me on 2wks bedrest(tnk God for my supervisor cos I work in a bank) n I was advised 2 abstain frm any heavy exercise even sex till I enter my 2nd trimester. Oooooops husby was lyk, wat a sacrifice?
To d glory of God, I'm now 14wks gone n evritin is goin on fyn cos first trimester was just too sickenin(nausea,excessive vomittin,tiredness,blurred vision) bt He saw me thru it all.
My praya for evrione TTC is dat God in His infinite mercy will open wateva obstruction dat is in ur way,u will carry ur baby to term cos He made us fruitful in His land. Hold on 2 ur testimony cos dis is ur year of enuff is enuff, He will answer u wit divine speed(amen)
