HealthRe: Nigerian Patients Can Sue Hospitals For Negligence by BIKINI(f): 12:50am On Dec 06, 2009
The best option is self help.
the law takes 4eva and more pple'll keep dying, in btw, while the case is being adjourn ad infinitum . when the defaulting medics know and see how much they too stand to lose via avenging families of victims , they'll seat up . i assure u they will. i have seen this mosaic law formula work like magic .
it's just a pity this vicious cycle belief has to be adopted but . . .as they say , "drastic events demand drastic actions"

the kind of funny and interesting comments i av read so far on this thread , since the inception of bba4, has kept me not only reeling with lafta but also spending my dear 75 naira on countless occasions , voting via sms , as if my life depended on it . when d time comes i'll definitly miss 2 tings , nairaland bb4 commentaries and the show proper.

my job schedule might not allow me time to post regularly but , i trully appreciate all your different comments - 4rm the witty, to d FUNNY   grin grin grin, and to the downright bizarre. shocked shocked shocked

u just have to be strong brave and forget the loser. YOU DONT NEED HIM
Imagine the fool kai ! so this story is the same everywhere. Na wa sha

In case u r habouring any hopes of re-uniting with him , girl wake up . He did it once , his gonna do it again . such negative energy should come no where close to u or your son. Baggage like this are best brought out later when your son is ready to handle it . esp with this his cloak and dagger approach . He is not even proud of his own son . When he is s'pose to be begging he is still showing attitude . Kai ! Kai!  i wish i could just meet these kind of men face to face so they'll get a taste of me  u know, really get to make an example with one .

what u should feel for him is pity. and pray for the poor woman that he is with now . cos any1 that can do this can kill.
FoodRe: Which Kitchen Rituals Did You Learn From Your Mother? by BIKINI(f): 9:18am On Nov 04, 2009
Rituals i have picked up from mu mummy and still learn whenever i visit , remain countless and priceless . But some am willing to share
1)
if u ever have the misfortune of pepper going into ur eyes ?
dont fret , calmly put 2 to three lil pinches of salt in your mouth an suck on it making sure u taste and actually swallow it . u'll be surprise @ d speed the pain will dissappear even without dousing your eyes with water.
2 ) powdered ofo should be mixed with oil 1st before adding it to any soup.
3)parboiling beans reduces heartburns.
4) egusi is best "fried" with stock and oil .
5)be able to cook fast,on time and present tasty meals . mumsie: "baby do dis tin sharp sharp now abi habaa pple should die of hunger first ?"
6) have a winning seasoning and recipe( if possible a signature recipe ); organic or artificial
7)wash ur hands b4 and and after cooking not 4geting ur dishes oooooo

HealthRe: We Perform Surgeries With Torch Lights - Doctors by BIKINI(f): 6:14am On Oct 19, 2009
am not surprised @ the manner pro reindeer & laheeh09 have promptly risen up to the defence . Abt 2mths ago ur excuses of stress and work pressure would av made sense 2 me to an extent but not anymore.
I still cant understand how one takes out his work pressure on d same pple that keep u in business: ur patients. I also observe that this cholericl streak of theirs exhibits itself only wen they are in govt owned hospitals . When u go 2 their privately owned hospital where they are always wont to  refer u to, they suddenly& automatically can manage stress well.
Too bad if my opinion rubs off on u all d wrong way, but i insist there is a great need for re-orientation amongst medical personnels.  Ur patients are the main reason u exist try not 2 take out ur anger 2wards a decadent system on them. it's mainly ur colleagues, not other professionals  @ the helms of affairs that mismanage ur allocations not the common man ,  that throngs ur office daily. Say no 2 wrong diagnosis, aloofness 2 ur patients, bottleneck bureacracy when lives are @ stake, money-over-life atitude , & above all highandedness {esp 4 those govt owned hosp}. A life is still a life irrespective of  the ownership of the facility. That profession has fragilty as a distinct quality, stop eroding the agelong trust it. Thank God some still even deem it fit 2 go the extra mile 2 use torchlight, or even use d glow of bottled fireflies -a la reindeer.
Beef or no beef, the atitude of naija health personnel not just infrastructure needs serious overhauling- a complete turnaround.
HealthRe: We Perform Surgeries With Torch Lights - Doctors by BIKINI(f): 2:39pm On Oct 16, 2009
as 4 @ladeeh09 & his likes, i'd rather be treated by a warm hearted rascal who appreciates d sacrosanct nature of human life than one who sees me as a mere increase in death statistics targeted 2 prove a point to govt that his sector is suffering a dearth .
HealthRe: We Perform Surgeries With Torch Lights - Doctors by BIKINI(f): 8:56am On Oct 16, 2009
@ riendeer u av a perogative 2 hold any opinion u choose, I dont particularly care. Tirade or not, all i know is dat the doctors 2 have a share in d rot of dat sector as thier atitude ,professionally speaking is no longer wat nigerians used 2 know dem 4. It's a sensitive job & their negligence or oversight cost LIVES not ntin replaceable. If u entered d profession 4 d money & u observe d cash aint 4thcomin quit so u dont start venting ur frustrations on innocent patients.
HealthRe: We Perform Surgeries With Torch Lights - Doctors by BIKINI(f): 10:39pm On Oct 15, 2009
it's not just infrastructure dat's poor . The atitude of so called nigerian doctors need to be worked on. Even a street rascal will attempt better customer/patient service than them.   Imagine the outburst, esp coming 4rm som1 that claims 2 have gone thru d ivory tower 4 aeons of yrs,
U studied 2 bcom a pro so what ? That's Just millions of other professionals dis so dat shuldnt be an excuse. If u cant perform d job well ,and u tink pay is 2 lil, quit and stop killing pple 4 God sake.

i pray everyday nothing ever takes me 2 nigerian wicked halfbaked, money worshipping, arrogant, heartless, doctors. I'd rather take all d preventive herbal extractions esp my dearest "agbo" than be killed by one charlatan parading himself as a doctor who sees ever1 as a potential cadaver. They thrive on image no substance. Bloody murderers

My dear testimonies abound abt modern day sarahs & hannahs. Chat wit ur hubby so he 2 can go 4 a test so u get 2 be certain of d situation . Be prayerful & learn how 2 fast & be a lil ascetic while seekin God's face. Build a personal & direct relationship wit God. He abovd man knows u . He in his own perfect time will bless u wit d fruit of d womb. Be of good cheer & dont allow ur spirit be defeated . Ur success story is on d way

HealthThe Farce Called" Nigerian Health Sector" A Casestudy Of Central Hospital Agbor by BIKINI(op): 5:58pm On Sep 29, 2009
I can recall way back , abt 6yrs ago wen we had 2 relocate 4 a while 2 agbor, i was awed by d positiv tins, like gud roads, free computer education, pipe borne water, gud state hosp & an ok standard of education. All these things my dear are gone. The worst hit in dis downhill slide is d health sector. While patients in cities bemoan their fate @ d hands of extortionist medics, indigenes of agbor who opt 4 medicare @ central hospital agbor have 2 contend wit d sad reality of either been butchered in d theatre , milked dry by the admin staff, given d " u shuld be glad am condescending 2 talk 2 u" treatment, or completly ignored until d patient dies. & of course d mortuary staff , d only seemingly active dept, promply appears in their usual shylock manner. get as much money 4rm d bereaved family; nt carin dat dia negligence actualy cosd d grief in d 1st place. THIS POST IS AN SOS 2 DELTA STATE GOVT, AND A CAVEAT 2 PATRONS OF DAT HOSPITAL. . . IT' S NOTHING SHORT OF AN ABBATOIR . . .MEDICAL STAFF NEED REFRESHER COURSES ON D HIPPCRATES OATH, AND WHAT IT ACTUALLY MEANS 2 BE IN D MEDICAL FIELD. What goes around comes around.
