Wow...I find it hard to believe JK would stoop so low to such dirty lies.
The Igbo in Lagos have appealed to Lagos State
government and the state Commissioner of Police,
Mr Kayode Aderanti, to put security measures in place
to ensure the protection of their lives and property
after the general elections.
The appeal came just as they demanded an apology
from Oba Rilwan Akiolu of Lagos over his comment
that the Igbo would perish in the Lagos lagoon, in
seven days, if they did not vote for his choice
governorship candidate in yesterday’s elections.
The Chairman, Ohaneze Ndigbo in Amuwo Odofin local
government area, Chief Akalika Emmanuel, explained
that the call for the protection of life and property
became necessary to avoid unforeseen circumstances.
Acknowledging the intervention of the president elect,
General Muhammadu Buhari, and opinion leaders from
Igbo and Yoruba land, Emmanuel stated that the Igbo
had sheathed their sword in demonstration of their
love for Lagos State, as well as their maturity and
willingness to be each other brothers’ keepers.
Nevertheless, he demanded that a documentary prove
that such threat from Akiolu would not repeat itself
be made available, adding that the property of Ndi -
Igbo would not be unduly taxed nor demolished, no
matter the direction of the victory of yesterday’s
governorship election.
Continuing he said: “We also demand that our
business premises and other matters of interest will
not come under any form of intimidation now or in
future”.

I want to ask... what type of politics is this? What are we preaching in the name of campaign? must we get to power at all cost?

Are non indigenes the only tenants in Lagos? Are they the only business people in Lagos? Can state govt levy taxes only on non indigenes?

I still don't understand the reason for this...

Sophyrocks:
Teenage pregnancy is as a result of moral breakdown in both sexes. As long as we have low moral values, as long as abstainance isnt preached any longer, as long as we have paedophiles who are not ready to allow little girls grow and create a better future for themselves, as long marriage and getting a man at all cost is constantly harped on little girls, teenage pregnancy will continue to happen. Everything is messed up.
All in the name of civilisation I guess....

FamilyOur 4th Child Is Not Yours - Wife Confesses To Her Husband by Biliamin(op): 7:58pm On Apr 04, 2015
The confession of a mother of five that her former boss was the biological father of her fourth child is now threatening her 25-year-old marriage. Her husband, 57-year-old Isaac Jemibola, a civil servant, has approached an Ikole Customary Court in Ekiti State, seeking the dissolution of his marriage to the woman, 48-year-old Olayemi.
Jemibola based his divorce plea on the ground that the respondent confessed committing adultery in 2002.
He urged the court in the petition filed on January 21, to grant him custody of the five children from the marriage.
The petition told the court that he married Olayemi in 1989 according to the native law and custom.
According to him, ``after retiring to bed on January 19, my wife came to me and knelt down.
“She confessed to have had an extramarital affair with her former boss which resulted in the pregnancy of the fourth child.
“My wife said she had given her life to Christ and that her desire to make heaven made her confess based on the advice from her pastor.
“She added that the paternity of the fourth child was in doubt since both the boss and I slept with her the same week,’’ he said.
Jemibola further told the court that he reported the matter to his parents who pleaded with the woman to reverse her confession.
“She however insisted that she was following the dictates of the Bible.
“I purposely don’t want to do the DNA test because I don’t want to hate the child.’’ he said.
Olayemi admitted committing the offence, but kicked against dissolution of the marriage.
“I did it because Jemibola was befriending another woman during the period which made him abandon me for almost six months.
“It was that same period that my former boss, who normally took me to work in his car, made love advances at me. Both men made love with me at almost the same period.
“After some years, I discovered that the child looked quite different from his siblings and out of guilt, I decided to tell him the truth.
“I pleaded for his forgiveness but he refused,’’ Olayemi said.

In her ruling, the court president, Mrs Yemisi Ojo, said: “In the interest of justice and in the spirit of promoting reconciliation between the two parties, the case will be adjourned till April 7 for report of settlement.’’

PoliticsAPC Sues Fayose Demands N50 Billion In Damages by Biliamin(op): 10:14pm On Mar 25, 2015
The All Progressives Congress Presidential Council
(APCPCC) Legal Directorate has dragged the Ekiti State
Government to a Federal High Court in Abuja over
advertisements by the state's governor, Ayodele Fayose
wherein he alluded that the party's presidential candidate,
General Muhammadu Buhari would die in office.

The plaintiffs, led by Professor Akinseye George,SAN, are
asking the court to compel the Speaker of the Ekiti State
House of Assembly and the House of Assembly to
immediately commence impeachment proceedings against
Fayose for alleged public misconduct unbecoming of a
Nigerian State Governor.

The plaintiffs are also asking the court for a declaration
that the publications by Fayose acting as the Coordinator
of the Goodluck/Sambo Presidential Campaign
Organization of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) cited
as the 22nd defendant in the suit in several national
newspapers using the statutory funds of the State
government constituted a breach of Section 95(1) of the
Electoral Act, 2010 as amended and were meant to confer
undue advantage on the 22nd defendant's (PDP)
Presidential Candidate, contrary to Sections 102 and 126(c)
of the Electoral Act 2010 as amended, Sections 34(1)(a),
35,36 and 37 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria 1999 as amended.

The family is too fetish and I won't be wrong if I add diabolical.
What is the relationship between having an elaborate wedding and their mother dying? I would be careful dealing with such people
it is not about the family. it is the bride that is disturbed because the mother passed on 2 days after her wedding and her sister is looking for how to change her thinking hence this post
FamilyHelp: Her Sister Thinks She Killed Their Mother by Biliamin(op): 3:35pm On Mar 19, 2015
They were warned severally by their pastors not to elaborate the wedding ceremony but the in-laws (famous family) is ready to bring everything to the table to ensure the world hears about the wedding.

The family, on knowing to the in laws decision, decided to engage themselves on a marathon fasting and prayers and planned the wedding on their part in a very low key. The went as far as not inviting neighbours for the wedding as the wedding was held at a far distant event hall.

To cut the whole story short, the bride mother passed on 2 days after the wedding without trace of any ailment/cause.

Since the demise of the mother, her sister has been blaming herself for her mothers death saying her mother died because she failed to listen to the pastors not to have an elaborate wedding.

This is beginning to affect her relationship with her sister and her husband.

There is fear that she might go ahead to hurt herself and the sister, being the only sister, is perplexed and dont even know what to do.

Please your matured advice will be appreciated
