This question is difficult to answer but let me give my opinion, Is advisable to get travel insurance from the country you are traveling from and from the country your visa application will be processed. Most of us apply visa from Nigeria and we have our travel insurance from Nigera.

I am a student in the uk with a biometric resident permit,
I currently have a confirmation of permanent residence for Canada and have until September this year to land in Canada to have my pr

I av enough money for the trip as I have a business in Nigeria and pays salary monthly to my personal account.

About travel insurance can I buy from Nigeria or it has to be the uk where I am resident.

I know I need to submit evidence of 50euro daily for upkeep for the duration of my stay in the shengen area and also uk bank statement and school document.

Can I also show my Nigerian bank statement as that is where my funds are and I can show evidence of business registration

Can I use this police certificate for my EE application submission . Bearing in mind that I collected it 3 days before I left Nigeria.

Or I should just do another one atleast the new one will cover till the last day of my stay in Nigeria

Funny though because I live and work in Ireland already and only started Canada PR process as a backup plan.As at the time, it was increasingly getting difficult to get a job after Masters in Ireland. Employers did not understand the work permit laws, unlike now.

It's PPR baby. Here is a brief of my timeline.
The whole thought of PR came to my head Feb 2018 then my interest was in Australia PR, but found out that I was more qualified for canada PR, so I made the switch and the journey began.

ECA : June 2018
1st IELTS : Aug 2018
2nd IELTS : Oct 2018
EOI SINP : Jan 2019

SNIP Nomination: Dec 2019 was Rejected due to mismatch in Job and occupation.
After SNIP Rejected my application I decided to leave PR and get marry.
Told my wife about my whole PR dream and all, she keyed into it we both retook IELTS, and then I decided to go for a 1year MSc whilst, wife also had an Msc.

3rd IELTS : Jan 2020

Ist ITA : Jan 2020, I declined it as I wasn't ready.

2nd ITA: March 2020

AOR: May 2020

By Aug 2020 my application was refused because of PCC. I didnt give up, i immediately reapplied and fixed the initial mistake on the PCC.

3rd ITA : Aug 2020

Aor : Oct 2020

MED passed : Oct 2020

Long silence.

ReMed : April 2022

Addition of baby : April 2022

My school offered extension for my resumption from 26th of sept to 3rd October

After sending series of mails to them pleading on extension because of delay in processing visa.

Biometric walk-in 13th of September (priority)
Dependants husband and 2kids walk-in (standard!)with one child who had that date in VI

Tracked today (20th of September)main applicant is transferred to VAC

BA booked for 1st October 2022

I pray that we are lucky enough that dependants also get visa before the standard 15working days.

Waiting to recieve at VAC and collection mail drops too

Also no BRP mail yet.

Update - collection mail dropped now

Update Brp mail dropped two days after.
I have already logged in to my school mail for updates.
