Really, I guess you need to blame yourself for the incompetence.

Mostly when you attend a job interview/ Examinations, the following are expected of you.

1. Follow the social media channels of the organization. For example the Customs facebook gave information on the suplemntary list.

How on earth, you won't follow the activities of the said organization you applied for? Each once in a while to check for an update.

2. After every job examination /interview Google search the thread on Nairaland and follow up with all activities.

3. Connect with people after the exams/interview (collect their mobile number and keep in touch).


Some wisdom's is beyond your academic qualifications. Always think out side the box and follow up with information in everything you are doing in Life.

They should kukuma continue the screening till the end of the year or the last person does.
Custom shouldn't have extended the screening beyond last week; they gave those that should have been resting at their home unnecessary hope and expenses.

We gather dey here as of today oh, dey asked us to wait since morning, that dey are having a meeting if they will allow us still do the screening. The Pro says the screening is over and has closed all the officials that came down to do the screening have returned this is directly from the PRO he came out to talk to us personally after we had waited for hours. you see what i'm saying? So many people skip the screening cos of the cost implication. Do you think that lady didnt see the list before she was called by the officer? I personally sold my fridge worth 65-70k for a meagre 45k when i couldn't raise enough money to attend the screening in march. So, it all boil down to how much we want this job. Many thinks its the usual "apply and give ur baba alaye to run am" kinda tinx. For those who think all this is not on merit, i wish them the best o. For those waiting for god-father to give them apl at home too, i wish una luck. For all of us that sacrifice one thing or the other on this whole process, God go reward us with this job. Peace!

Before now In my thoughts, I always had the mind-set that, even when some people say Nigeria is so bad I thought that as an overstatement; not knowing that it's even worse than what anyone can imagine.

I was doing a job hunt this early morning. Then I found this miserable job offer ,Mathematics Teacher who's going to be offered a monthly salary of 8000 naira.

On seeing this ,I was like my eyes saw double,so I checked it again. I was so devastated by this ,and I had to close up my browser out of annoyance.

What could be the reason behind the moribund state of all Nigeria's sector.

Everything in Nigeria is sordid and paralysed ,I wonder what Nigeria is going to look like in the next 4 years.
I pray that God helps us all.
