It's a nationally owned oil company

Stop depending on whites

It's 2019 not 1929

All these companies were taking our money elsewhere

Better they left self
Can you compare when those foreign nationals were around to when Nigerians started owning oil companies? Can you compare buying buying fuel from Mobil and one owned by an individual? My brother even developed countries ve foreign businesses in their countries not to talk of we dat re ready to cheat ourselves die. We don’t just say things without any iota of reasoning

Nigerian roads do not help matters at all also.
How can you say Nigerian roads don’t help when Buhari and all apc governors have tiled all d roads in Nigeria....

You made some valid points.

However, the bane of Nigeria is tribalism and religious sentiments.

Rid the country of tribalism and watch it soar high.

As long as ethnic champions like Buhari and Tinubu hold sway in Nigeria, forget about advancement...

All the noise is nothing but blowing hot air...Nigeria is not ready to see the light.

Given 70% of Nigerians an opportunity to escape this mad system and you will see a ghost country, if there is anything like that...
I agree with you bro, we re not ready to leave the darkness dats y we keep repeating same mistakes every time

Lol.

You think Nigerians don't know this?
Is election the only place Nigeria is failing? You guys are funny. We must understand WHY Nigeria is the way it is before we proffer solutions.
Nigeria is like this simply because we don't have a national culture or ideology. We are not one people.

It will be hard for you to bring Turkey and Germany into one country and expect that because they are white that they would move forward. Iffa hear.
Go to nearby Ghana and observe their elections... forget about Canada.

We have two options if we one to really progress.

1. Go back to a regional system where power is mainly in the regions and where the federal government only has powers on a few issues (defence, diplomacy, currency, customs). We can use the 6 geopolitical zones as the new regions and the 36 states as the new local governments.

OR
2. Divide the damn country and allow ethnic groups to forge their own paths
Yea you re right, Nigeria is failing in so many areas but like I said the day we get our elections right tins will be better. Yahaya bello no dat police n soldiers will impose him on kogi people dats y he’s misbehaving. When d process doesn’t give room for all dat my dear tins will start changing.

You are comparing a country that has defeated hunger with another country where majority of its citizens don't have food and are willing to do anything to get the next meal. Canada has systems that work but Nigeria doesn't.
Yea you are right but we can start from somewhere. The moment we get our electioneering process right Nigeria will be moving in right direction
PoliticsCanada Election Vs Nigeria Election....where We Need To Amend by bilulu(op):
After carefully following and observing Canadian electioneering campaign first hand I concluded that Nigeria has not started at all.
I will take time to highlight some of the important issues....
1. No holidays as everybody was going about their businesses. You cast your vote at ur own time between 8am to 10.30pm (time depending on your location).
2. Campaigns were issue base and one man coming to the podium to be shouting APC or PDP.
3. There was no record of inducing voters either with rice, salt or trader moni. There was no scene of bullion vans entering somebody’s compound.
4. There was no day set aside for voters registration were holiday might be declared depending on the state governor. You go online yourself and register yourself for the election.
5. I was at a polling unit, not a single security personnel armed to the teeth were there. No police nor military was deployed for a peaceful electioneering process.
5. All the result were transmitted and not transported.
6. No one man sat in Ontario (Abuja) to be announcing all the result state by state.
7. No one man or body can decide the fate of the voters. No one man can declare your vote inconclusive
8. You vote were you are. You don’t need to travel from Ontario ( Abuja) to Alberta (Osun) to be able to vote.
9. Nobody is going to court to challenge the whole process. They gave their speeches and went home. That’s how Canadians roll.
Their votes counted. When will our votes count in Nigeria? When are we going to adopt issue base campaign? When are we going to do away with manual voting and adopt electronic voting?
We can do it, we have come of age, we talk ourselves down by saying we haven’t grow to that level. The time for that change is now.

Lalasticlala..... this need to make front page
Christianity EtcRe: Father John Chinenye Oluoma: Your Tithe Saves The Needy, You Haven't Robbed God by bilulu(m): 8:29pm On Oct 06, 2019
alBHAGDADI:
This is a pure rubbish teaching coming from a Catholic Bishop of gay kingdom.

Where did God order that we should do what this preacher said with our tithe? Nowhere. What God said in Malachai 3:10 is that we should bring the tithe to his house. He didn't say we should branch somewhere else with it.

Yes, the pastor's idea seems like a reasonably brilliant and kind one, but that doesn't make it right in God's eyes. Remember that the way man thinks is different from the way God thinks.

Man thinks it is a good thing to give the tithe to someone in need of it. But where did God say such about tithe? Nowhere. He only said to bring it to his house and from there it is distributed to the needy.

Think of it this way: You are on your way to the hospital with 100k to pay for your child's medical bills. Suddenly you found a needy man. Be honest with yourself, will you give the money to the needy man to the detriment of your child in the hospital?

I can bet you won't. So why do you now think it is right to give your tithe to the needy man? Remember, it is God's money and you have no right to decide how to help God spend it, especially when he gave you no such order.

Look, don't let people bamboozle you weird scenarios like the one given by the preacher. Always stand by God's command. The tithe is his, and the only thing you can do with it is to take it to his house, nowhere else.

They may even use your child as an example, saying what if your child is sick and the money needed for treatment is equivalent to the tithe money you have, which is your last dime.

What will I say in this case? Give that money to God because it is his. At this point many will be kicking against me. Little do they know that they are kicking against Jesus who said...

Mathew 10:37
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Why do you think Abraham is referred to as a friend of God today? Because he obeyed God by proceeding to sacrifice his son Isaac as commanded by God. He didn't think twice. But people who are not worthy of Jesus are the ones who will disobey him by doing the thoughts of their heart instead of his word.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
have you ever read where the Bible said u can evenness ur tithe? you can use it to buy Wat ur heart lust after? read ur Bible ursef instead of allowing people read it for u
