Humans interact with the environment constantly. These interactions affect quality of life, years of healthy life lived, and health disparities. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines environment, as it relates to health, as “all the physical, chemical, and biological factors external to a person, and all the related behaviors. Environmental health is a broad category that addresses all the physical, chemical and biological factors that are external to a person. Topics range from air quality and pollution to healthy homes and occupational hazards. Exposure to unsafe drinking water, inadequate sanitation and poor hygiene are leading causes of cholera and a variety of infectious and tropical diseases in Nigeria and Africa at large. WHY ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH IS IMPORTANT Better environmental management could prevent up to 40% of deaths from malaria, 41% of deaths from lower respiratory infections and 94% of deaths from diarrhoeal disease which are three of the biggest childhood killers in Africa. environmental-health Urban living is becoming more predominant and city dwellers face many new health challenges. Urbanization is associated with the scarcity of clean water (where i live, i can’t cook with my water, sometimes i can not even bath with it yet is the center of the city), deforestation and traffic accidents, and an increased exposure to risk factors such as tobacco use, unhealthy diets, physical inactivity and harmful use of alcohol. Healthier environments can reduce the incidence of noncommunicable diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, asthma, and overweight and obesity – the fastest growing conditions in Africa. Up to 80% of heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes could be prevented and 40% of cancer. Poor environmental quality has its greatest impact on people whose health status is already at risk. Therefore, environmental health must address the societal and environmental factors that increase the likelihood of exposure and disease.... MMM: Ponzi schemes, Pyramid Schemes and The Complicit Thievery Of An Educated Elite. I was nearing the end of an event-full day at the office when I stumbled on my facebook chat box and saw the statement “what is on your mind?”, immediately, this title popped up. As a background, i have been involved in network marketing since 2010 and in the process, i set out to study, understand and succeed in network marketing through personal experience. In the process of building a network marketing business, I have ended up providing value in consulting, training, public speaking, social media marketing, coaching, most importantly, I have grown in financial intelligence and help to coach others. mmm2 Six years in, i have built what I consider a growing business that pays me better than most senior level staff in traditional companies, aside having the time freedom to do many other things like start up a new travel company – www.travelbay.co and more importantly, have a hand in practically impacting the financial and business lives of tens and maybe hundreds of people many twice my age. This I consider to be the most amazing part of network marketing. The fact that I can only truly succeed only when I help others succeed. There is no way you can help others succeed if you are not developing yourself. Why do scams find their way here? Nigeria is such a high energy entrepreneurial country, and over the last few years, lots of network marketing companies have invaded our space. While that is a good thing, we must however not forget that the bad and the ugly always accompanies the good. Today our country is undergoing a slow but grinding change. Our developing economic space is struggling with itself how to get out of its own mess, also the propensity for people to want money without work and Nigeria’s reputation for corruption, and you find a breeding ground for those wonder banks that aim to take advantage of the lack of financial intelligence of millions of Nigerians. The latest craze is MMM, if you haven’t been approached personally, you may have run into it online or on broadcasts, etc. Funny enough, MMM clearly says you may not make money, yet because testimonies abound, people ignore that disclaimer. See below.. It even bans people from countries where it has crashed from participating. In my recent tweetchat, I presented one of my guests with what she called a controversial and yet must discussed topic “Is your significant other entitled to your password”. Though the end result of that tweetchat was not quite satisfying so I decided it is time we discuss it again. While thinking of this I also came to the realization that there are topics that we think about but don’t like to discuss because the conversation is usually uncomfortable. Instead, we avoid the topics and hope they work themselves out on their own when we already know they never will. Below are three topics people should discuss in the beginning of a relationship but they often don’t have until the end… ASK YOUR PARTNER IF OR NOT IT IS DIFFICULT BEING FAITHFUL Asking your partner their thought on cheating, and maybe you can twist the above questions towards a more friendly direction “Is Being Faithful Easy”? This way it doesn’t sound as if you are expecting it from them, but rather you want to trust them more. And if you are asked the above question, in as much as you want to be the good girl or guy, it is dignifying to be truthful. To be clear, I’m not only talking about physical encounters. Many people limit their definition of cheating to physical encounters. However, most infidelities don’t leap to the physical. You often work your way up to the physical point, so what about all those missteps you took on your way there? What about all those indiscretions you overlooked, ignored, or somehow excused until the inevitable? You know the type: the extra DM on Twitter, the inappropriate ‘Like’ on a Facebook picture you had no business viewing in the first place, or the “hey, how have you been?” message to an X even though you’re in a new relationship. Then there is real life: the extra flirtatious laugh, touch, or suggestion you give or overlook from a person of interest. You know you respective statuses so instead you entice each other, playfully at first, until that invisible line between flirtatiously innocent suggestions and outright deceitful actions blurs beyond recognition. What then? This is a conversation that should reach a final destination; don’t shy away from answering or asking your partner. If you’ve ever cheated before, I think it’s important to identify the true cause in order to successfully address the issue rather than make blanket and dismissive statement. Further, it may help to determine is it harder to be faithful than it is to cheat? Do men or women have it harder or easier? Is cheating more about avoiding situations that can lead to infidelity or having the strength to resist all opportunities real or imagined? In one of my recent tweetchat I also indulge my guest who gave his thoughts about cheating and gladly he was very polite and open while discussing the topic. When our parents were young, they didn’t have to worry about how the internet and technology has turned us all into sociopathic nightmares who think getting someone’s attention consists of creepily liking year-old instagram photos or scrolling through profiles of people on some location-based app. In this age and time, we often try to impress him/her via our posts etc. (I am so not good at this but maybe I should learn). Everyone seems to be carried away by that hottie online, so if you are not one, your man might just dump you for another or maybe, the man you really like won’t just come by because you are not as hot. I am guessing when our parents were young they needed to meet people by going out and about and vetting potential dating options through friends and friends of friends. It was arguably more difficult, sure, but it also allowed them the opportunity to truly process their feelings about a person before being blindsided by a two-hour long dinner with someone who doesn’t know the difference between a regular conversation and the “me me me” show. Or scrolling through your fake life on social media and thinking yes, he/she is the one. Below are six dating realities our parents never had to deal with because they grew up in a time where Tinder, Badoo, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and what have you wasn’t a thing and men have to sweat it out to get their lady and when she finally likes him, she is swept off her feet. I discussed Healthy Living in your 20s week ago and this week let’s talk about those in their 30s. Your 30s can either be the prime year of your life or the worse year! By the time we’re in our 30s, most of us are well on our way along the life path we’ve chosen; hard-working, independent adults. With a little luck, we’re enjoying good health and happiness. Relatively untouched by the normal effects of aging we’ll face a bit further down the road. Oh sure, we may notice a few gray hairs, a slightly-receding hairline, or a couple extra pounds, and we might just feel an unfamiliar ache or pain after overdoing it, or realize it’s getting harder and harder to read that small print…but our 30s can be the prime years of our lives! Image result for healthy black couple However, many of us get so involved with our careers and our families in our 30s, that we neglect our own health. The responsibilities and busy schedules of everyday life can make it difficult for us to maintain healthy balance but taking good care of ourselves, body, mind and spirit. This becomes more and more important as we age. By making good lifestyle choices in our 30s, we can help reduce our risk for chronic health problems and improve our chances for a long, healthy life. In this day and age of “diets”, obesity, and extreme health consciousness many remain aloof to the realities about obtaining good health and wellness. For most, the big question is: What matters most, diet or exercise? In my opinion neither one can be negated. Obtaining good health and wellness is all about LIFESTYLE change. And this concept of lifestyle change is what people either don’t understand or don’t really want to accept. Either way if one truly wants to become healthier this is a concept one must be able to fully grasp and accept! See few pointers for you to take heed of. It’s mainly the QUALITY not the quantity that counts most when it comes to choosing food! There’s no need to count calories. The foods you choose will do the counting for you if you choose healthy options, you’ll latently reduce your calorie intake! Stray away from foods with added sugar, excess fat, excess sodium, and those that are highly processed. Choose leaner protein options like chicken, turkey, fish, and low fat dairy products. (eggs are also a good source).... Continue here---> http://www.biminiflashng.com/health-tips-talk-what-matters-most-your-diet-or-exercise/

Over the years, a lot of us continually cast blames on men for not doing this or that for a lady, I thought it was 2016 and women are already ruling? Hey ladies, if you find yourself reading this, you might hate me right now (because I hate me right now too lol), I wonder why I am writing this but then I will always tell the truth so help me God. By the look of things, the “girl power” movement has slowly evolved into more of a man belittling movement–(This cannot be disputed). The Internet is filled with articles and posts about everything men do wrong and why women should speak up. There are hundreds of opinions out there on what men should not do or say to the women, either the one they love or just a lady. Ladies tear men down and more or less tell them to do deal with it. I mean some men also tear other men apart because of a lady. We often don’t care about the other end of the story. Personally, I think it is about time for a lady to stick up for the guys. I love Toke Makinwa and her vlog but something about her line of thought throws me off the wrong hook– the fact that she always tells women to go and ‘chop’ the men, she always advise women on how to handle men and how men are bad bla bla bla. It is more like women are some saints and the men are certified devils. I am guilty of this fact to an extent. Every other Thursday I give you lengthy list of things men should never do or say to women, I am going to flip it around this time. Here are 8 things a man should never do for a woman in the name of love: read all here----> http://www.biminiflashng.com/8-things-a-man-should-never-do-for-a-woman-in-the-name-of-love/

Last week I discussed about ‘Most Common Reasons That Leads To Relationship Breakups’ and I promised to bring you guys how to get those lost feelings and emotions back into your relationship. At first it might seem difficult, in fact I’ve been faced with such situation before and sadly, I lost a good relationship. But hey, we are not here to talk about me today. This week I will share how to create a new, secure sense of emotional connection with your partner. Dr. Johnson’s, a love therapist proposes couples conversations in her book Hold Me Tight that are specifically designed to help partners engage, forgive and bond with each other. You can rewrite the script of your relationship, you can change how things are in your relationship. First, what is ‘Emotional Ally? It could mean a whole lot but in this article emotional ally(connection) is not just affection, or feelings, terms of endearment, or closeness in day-to-day living. It is rather the knowledge that your significant other empathizes with you and will turn toward you when you need them and when they need you. Emotional Ally in some way i can say, it is a primal safety you get from knowing that you are noticed, valued, and comforted in your most down times. This kind of safety is crucial to the foundation of relationships. It increases partners’ ability to problem solving as well as cope with power struggles, disappointments, and transgressions. When couples feel their partners are there for them, they are more resilient, and less likely to think in catastrophic terms. I would go so far as to say that emotional connection is the number one factor in building healthy... However, there are also challenges associated with life in your 20s. It’s important to stay healthy—physically, mentally and emotionally—in your 20s and learn how to deal with the issues and concerns many of us face during this decade. Doing so can go a long way toward ensuring good health later in life. For young adults, staying healthy commonly involves making good lifestyle choices and decisions, taking precautions to avoid accidental injuries, and following recommendations for preventative care. Healthy tips for people in their 20s include the following: A Healthy Lifestyle in Your 20s Eat a healthy diet to reduce your risk for heart disease and other chronic health problems like diabeties. Relationship Tips and Talk on Biminiflashng.com completes your Tuesday! Love is in the air. Sometimes it abruptly disappears into thin air. Not every couple can explain what happen to their passion and where everything started to go wrong. A breakup is something no one ever liked but it eventually becomes the only possible solution to move on. So don’t be distressed and just live through this. Here are four most common reasons for a breakup. Some of them are rather conventional while others might surprise you. Bear in mind that breaking up is not always a bad occasion! The Atrophy of Feelings Couples often find themselves trying to maintain lifeless passion. However disappointing it sounds, human feelings can occasionally vanish without any particular reasons. Trying to resurrect a dead feeling is nothing more than a tremendous waste of time (Most especially when you do not understand why you loved this person at first). You may become your significant other’s best friend but you will not be lovers ever again. When the chemistry between two of you is lost, only a breakup can help you become happy. Seriously, you must learn to know when it is over emotionally but then, if you are already married to this person you can’t just pack up and leave, most especially when you are from this part of the world (This is why i will bring up an article next week on how to build back your emotional feelings) The Other Man/Woman Read all here ---> http://www.biminiflashng.com/relationship-tips-and-talk-4-most-common-reasons-that-leads-to-breakup/#more-5602

welcome to our weekly Health Tips and Talk. This article aims at revealing those unhealthy foods that deteriorate your health. vegetable-oil-is-unhealthy-biminiflashng Vegetable oil Diet is a major if not the most important factor in staying healthy and disease-free. Dr Mercola said, “if you want to be optimally healthy, you should spend your food budget on nourishing organic foods”. The closer your foods are to their natural state, the better they are for your wellbeing. canned-tomato-is-unhealthy-biminiflashng Canned Tomato Sadly, many people are spending more money on Processed food .They spend most of their money on “time-saving” but Unhealthy food, while ignoring wholesome organic fares that are teeming with the nutrients they need. This desire for convenience has its consequences: many people are now suffering from chronic illnesses, including obesity, diabetes, and even heart disease. processed-meat-is-unhealthy-biminiflashng Processed Meat I truly believe that the unhealthy processed food diet that many people are accustomed today is the reason why a significant portion of the population is growing sicker and fatter (Dr. Mercola). You may be thinking, “How does eating unhealthy processed food truly impact my health?” Well, wonder no more – here are the reasons why: They are high in sugar and/or high fructose corn syrup, which programs your body to consume more calories and store fat. You tend to overeat when you eat processed foods. Junk foods “override” your body’s natural intrinsic regulator, and as a result, can stimulate a strong rewards response in your brain that causes you to overeat. Hey guys, good evening and welcome to our Relationship Tips and Talk, a feature exclusive to biminiflashng.com every Tuesday. If you are just joining us, i say a big welcome, but where have you been? So sorry this is coming late, had a really busy day but i am here now and i hope what i am about to ink down helps one or two people. Like i’d always say, i learn along as i write. So don’t see me as perfect. Feel free to drop comments, ideas and thoughts in the comment box. Today i will be talking Caring and Meaningful Relationship and how your upbringing impacts on your relationship Good relationships strengthen all aspects of life: your health, your mind, and your work. However, if the relationship isn’t supportive, it can be a tremendous drain. Relationships get better or worse depending on how much or how little we understand and invest in them. Not just a man to woman relationship, it could be between two friends, family etc. The tips i will be outlining below can help keep a healthy relationship strong, or repair trust and love in a relationship on the rocks. Unbelievably but true, how you felt about the people who cared for you as an infant may have a negative or positive impacts on your expectations of love. If your caretaker was understanding and caring about what you needed, you trusted them and the emotions you felt for them. But if your caretaker was confused, frightened, or hurt you, your expectations of love may have become colored by these experiences. This relationship with your primary caretaker may also have made you feel uncomfortable with emotions both your own and other people’s. I might not be in a relationship as i write this but it is important we note that most relationship advice comes from the observation of people who are in either very good relationships or bad relationships. People who want their relationship to be good are given advice such as to fight fair, avoid taking out their problems on their partner, and to expect ups and downs. This is good advice, but it doesn’t take into consideration how negative early life experiences shape many people’s view of love and relationships. To change this view, you need to understand why the experience of feeling loved is so important to your brain and nervous system as well as your heart. Hey Ladies welcome to our Thursday Feature Letter To The Ladies on Blecyn George Monsi's Web . A warm welcome to all those joining us for the first time, ... come to think of it, where have you been? *Smiles*... Today i'll be discussing about "Date Night Rape Drug"... Often times teenagers are raped without them having ideas on how it happened, they can barely recall the incident, all they might probably remember is when they got to his house. Not just teenagers but also adult females. If you are a guy and you are reading this and somehow you've indulge in the act of drugging a girl who came visiting you, i pray the Lord forgives you but sorry, you'll face your punishment somehow, someday, ain't cussing i am just being realistic. What goes around comes around. And also if you are a guy reading this and you do not know about such drugs, please this is not to educate you on how to use it but to abolish you from ever thinking or being cajoled into using it on any girl. So back to my super women; this article should be an eye opener for you and make sure you read every ink dotted.... So What Is Date Night Rape Drug? These are drugs that are sometimes used to assist a sexual assault. Sexual assault is any type of sexual activity that a person does not agree to. It can include touching that is not okay; putting something into the vagina; sexual intercourse; rape; and attempted rape. These drugs are powerful and dangerous. They can be slipped into your drink when you are not looking. The drugs often have no color, smell, or taste, so you can't tell if you are being drugged. The drugs can make you become weak and confused or even pass out so that you are unable to refuse sex or defend yourself. If you are drugged, you might not remember what happened while you were drugged. Date rape drugs are used on both females and males. When i was a student, back in Uni, i also hear some guys use seasoning especially (maggi cube) really can't tell the chemistry behind that and how it weakens a lady, so shine you eyes if you see maggi close to your drink by mistake. Three most common drugs used; Rohypnol GHB, which is short for gamma hydroxybutyric (GAM-muh heye-DROX-ee-BYOO-tur-ihk) Ketamine (KEET-uh-meen) 1) Rohypnol (roh-HIP-nol). Rohypnol is the trade name for flunitrazepam (FLOO-neye-TRAZ-uh-pam). Abuse of two similar drugs appears to have replaced Rohypnol abuse. These are: clonazepam and (marketed as Xanax). Rohypnol is also known as; Circles Forget Pill Lunch Money Mind Erasers Poor Man's Quaalude R-2 Rib Roach Roopies They have other names also, these are names you might hear and wouldn't understand what a person is referring to, it is coded so a lady or novice won't understand. 2) GHB, which is short for gamma hydroxybutyric (GAM-muh heye-DROX-ee-BYOO-tur-ihk) acid. GHB is also known as: CONTINUE.... - - - - http://www.biminiflashng.com/2016/06/letter-to-ladies-what-you-should-know.html

Hey guys, welcome to Letter To The Gents (LTTG), a topical feature exclusive to Blecyn George Monsi's Web if you are just joining us for the first time, welcome and i assure you, you are going to love it here. Every Thursday i am dedicated to writing an article about ladies and of course gentle men. It could be health, hygiene lifestyle or socio-cultural issues faced by ladies and men and this is my little way of contributing to alarming issues. I'll be discussing Men and their skin car today, and as we all know, our skin is very vital, though most men have been tagged with the careless factor when it comes to their skin but with the evolving society of today, we are beginning to notice that men cares about their skin after all. Before i continue, i will love to mention only but three Nollywood actors with what i'd call a wonderful skin. For the sake of clarity, i do not know any of them in person, i just had the opportunity of seeing them and what stroke me was the evenness of their flawless skin; In no particular order; 1. Bryan Okwara image result Bryan Okwara's skin This is one Nollywood actor with a beautiful skin... you don't have to be a celebrity to have his kind of skin The days where appropriate skin care for men was regarded as nonsense are long gone. Today men skin care is more acceptable, and more men worry about their appearance, maybe not as much as women, but they are catching up. Men want to look good, young, attractive, healthy...and why not? Guess what? Cosmetic companies have noticed the trend in men's hunger for having a good skin and so they have developed lots of products for men now unlike before when all you find on the shelve were women's skin products. Dear men, before rushing to buy skin care products, make sure that you understand the basics of your skin and what you should be using. Don't just use your partner's cosmetic product, thinking because it makes her look good, same will be applied to you. 2. Blossom Chukwujekwu This gentleman here is the 2nd on my list... What Makes Male Skin Different From Female Skin Men's hormones or testosterone are responsible for male skin characteristics. The main differences between the skin of men and women are: Men's skin is 24% thicker than women and the texture is rougher. Collagen and elastin are found in more quantity in man skin. Men's skin is oilier with open pores and is prone to spots, blemishes and acne. Shaving irritates and dehydrates the skin. 3. Alex Ekubo image result for Alex Ekubo-biminiflashng.com And this is my third. 1 Factors Affecting How the Skin Looks Factors that influence the skin's appearance are similar in woman and man: 1. Sun 2. Genetics 3. Age 4. Smoking 5. Stress 6. Alcohol 7. Lack of exercise 8. Bad diet 9. Pollution 10. Lack of sleep 11. Dehydration Easy Skin Care Routine for Men Clean the skin every day, morning and night with specific products to get rid of dirt. Moisturize every day to protect the skin from external factors and dryness. Protect your skin from sun everyday Use a nutritive product during the night to regenerate the skin. Use a specific product to protect the area around the eyes and prevent dark circles and puffy eyes. Use products, aimed at your age group. The moisturizer that you use during the day, or the nutritive during the night can at the same time, act as anti aging. Ask in the beauty counter about the skin care ingredients that the product may contain. Apply a specific product before shaving and a moisturizing lotion after. Try to shave after the shower, use a quality razor and change the razor's blades regularly. Exfoliate the skin at least once a week to get rid of dead cells and excess of oil. It will also help with cellular renovation and to avoid the appearance of spots. Written by: Blecyn George Monsi And that is it for today on Letter To The Gents. I hope this article helps in giving you that skin you've always wished for. Thanks for riding with me, and don't forget to join my tweetchat tonight, 8pm #HotTalkWithBlecyn, for details follow @blecyn1 on twitter. Stay safe until next Thursday.

I will talk about that soon just stay glued |
Hey guys, good morning. Hope we all had a beautiful weekend. I did... Once again welcome to Health Tips and Talk on Biminiflash just as it is captioned we discuss everything health. If you are joining us for the first time, I say a big welcome but where have you been? Lol. Anxiety disorder is common among us today without our knowledge of what exactly is going on with or within us. So I'll be doing a series on anxiety. What is anxiety disorder? Anxiety starts off as stress... Lots of time when anxiety clicks in we all think it is stress but it is way beyond that. It is your body’s natural response to stress. It is a feeling of fear or panic and apprehension about what’s to come. We all feel it at times; the fear of failure, the first day of school, going to a job interview, or giving a speech cause most people to feel fearful, panic and nervous. But if your feelings of anxiety are high, and last for longer than six months, and are interfering with other important things in your life, you may have an anxiety disorder. Common Symptoms Of Anxiety Disorder There are several forms an anxiety disorder could take. One can have mild anxiety or sever anxiety. It may involve general anxiety and worry about many things, or it may be a fear of one specific thing. The exact symptoms vary according to the type of disorder, but always include excessive, irrational fear and sudden hatred or dislike. Below Are The Types Of Anxiety Disorder Panic attacks When one often panic at every slightest thing then a type of anxiety disorder Panic disorder maybe setting in. Panic disorder is characterized by panic attacks: sudden, unexplained, and apprehension about what’s to come. Below Are The Types Of Anxiety Disorder Panic attacks When one often panic at every slightest thing then a type of anxiety disorder Panic disorder maybe setting in. Panic disorder is characterized by panic attacks: sudden, unexplained, and unexpected bouts of extreme fear and panic. Sometimes if an accident occurs you see a victim running without a direction not minding his or her injuries, this is a typical example of panic attack. The symptoms of a panic attack include: pounding heart, sweating profusely , Consistent weakness, faintness, dizziness, nausea, chest pain, fear of losing control, going crazy, or dying These attacks usually last between 10 and 20 minutes, but they can feel endless to the person experiencing them. Following an attack, a person may feel anxious, exhausted, and shaken. People who often suffer from panic attacks may also have anxiety about these attacks. They may fear embarrassment if they have an attack in public. This may cause them to develop a fear of being in a place they cannot escape from. This fear is called agoraphobia. The symptoms of a panic attack can be so severe that they are sometimes mistaken for a heart attack or other life-threatening condition. Phobias Phobia for a particular thing can lead to anxiety disorder. It could be Phobia for water, for height, for flight for road , for sounds etc. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder as a type of anxiety disorder People with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) have persistent, uncontrollable, upsetting thoughts. They deal with the anxiety this causes by performing rituals, which gives them a sense of control over something. For example, if you are obsessed with germs, you might compulsively wash your hands over and over again. If you have obsessive thoughts about someone breaking into your home, you might compulsively lock and unlock your doors and windows. Our people will often clean and clean... They are disgusted at every sight of dirt. Though unknown to them this is an anxiety disorder. If you have OCD, you might find it difficult to throw things away; you might be obsessed with order and symmetry; you might have the need to touch things repeatedly in a particular sequence. If you have OCD, you may not realize that your behavior is out of the ordinary. You may feel like you are normal and acting normal but it is beyond normal. Sometimes people tell me I have OCD. If at all I do, I think I can sure control mine. OCD is often accompanied by eating disorders, other anxiety disorders, and depression. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder as a type of anxiety disorder Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is extreme anxiety following a severe or terrifying physical or emotional event.
