Fulaman198:

For Once I agree with you Kwame, although not with your language. But regardless, you are right. In every movie when it is about Africa, white people are always trying to portray themselves as the heroes when they do not really do anything. Look at "Blood Diamond" in Sierra Leone with Brad Pitt. Even the movie "Sahara" that takes place in Nigeria and Mali.

Soon they will make a movie of the French "liberating" Mali from Al-Qaeda when in reality it was not the French but the army of Chad.

lol @ Brad Pitt, you mean Leonardo dicaprio? I know it's not important but I just felt the need to correct it anyways lol

you are infact a slow poke

Shortly after the Hijra (670's) the Quraish or prophet's tribe started persucuting muslims and hundreds of the prophets followers fled across the Indian Ocean to present day Zaila and through Erithrea. It was in this period that the Somalis and their cousines the Afar-Oromo-Harararis and other nations of the horn of Africa converted to Islam. According to most Historians the people of Zaila who were of Dir origin and Issas-Gadabursi-Isaaq origins, Islam became well established by 800 A.D. By the 1300 century the whole horn of Africa up to Kenya and Zanziber we have Muslim cities flourishing and Muslim sulltanes like Ifat and Adal all over Somali. As a matter of fact, it was in 1300's that the ancient Somali saint Sheikh Yusuf Alkownin (Aw Barkadle) innvented the Alif-La-Kordhabee or Somali way of reading and learning to read the Quran scriptures. And around this time, another Sheikh by the name of Sheikh Hussein Al Bale of the Bale Oromo Arsi region left Northren Somali and Islam was well established in Southren Ethiopia all the way to northren Ethiopia. So the Islam of Somalia dates back to the time of the Hijra and many Somalis became muslims even before the Prophet Islamized the Arabs and Islam succeded in Arabia. Later in he 1400 AD, the Qadiriya Sufi order of Sheikh Cabdul Qadir Al-Jilani spread to Somalia and Ethiopia revitalizing the ancient faith and further incorporating more Kushitics. By 1456 AD, he Muslim Kings of Ifat, led by a Somali worrior, Imam by the name Imam Axmed Gurey (Left-Handed) was fighting Ethiopian Christian Habasha kings who tried to conquer Somalilands.

LMAO! It's like you really want me to believe your people were Muslim before the prophets very own people. It's like you are trying to fit your claim into history to make it sound legit. Are you really trying to tell me that Islam came to Africa, before it got to most part of the middle east?? That makes no sense what so ever. Islam spread through the middle east before it got to Africa, it was muhammed's followers who "converted" you lots (I wouldn't really even call it a conversion since, it was either accept Islam or die) you are trying to prove a lost case. Which brings me back to that claim of you lots trying to be Arabs, before we know it you might even start claiming you are.

Arab is a culture you slowpoke. not a race.

Islam came to somalia, before it went to Iraq, Iran, Syria, Egypt, Morroco etc.

you need to learn history. When the prophets companions sought shelter inside ethiopia (present day somalia) they spread the religion. So islam was in somalia before it was in iraq, lebanon, palestine.

No, "Arab" is a culture and an Identity it is used to identify those who are from Arabia. I.e the middle east. Your prophet was born in Saudi Arabia, he had a "call" from God and he shared his "call" with people who were from around his area. The people from Arabia were the first believer in the prophet Muhammad, they helped him spread the religion. Don't call me a retard because I'm not gullible enough to fall for your absurd lie!you Somalis are a bunch of Arab wannabes and would do anything to get approval from your Arab masters

you guys were litterally slaves, that why your language name is swahili which is arabic

somalis are figthting kenya because kenya invaded somalia, and thats what alshabaab has said

they demanded that uhuru kenyatta pull kenyan troops out: how is that fighting for arab master

somalis were muslim before islam reached egypt, jordan, palestine, iraq, iran, syria

remember The first hijra was to ethiopia to seek shelter from the arabs who wanted to kill the prophets companions that city is in present day somalia and its called Zeila.

you are still a slave inside kenya, indians and somalis own everything. you should be happy somalis have taken over buisness as the indians mistreated you and charged you so much for products that you couldnt even wear clean trousers.

First off I don't speak Swahili, so I don't even know why that is in your post. Second of all IT IS IMPOSSIBLE That Somalis were Muslim before the Arabs who created the so called religion Islam(thinking about it doesn't even make any sense) So stop making up lies. And as for the rest of your post, it is very irrelevant to me since I have zero idea what you are talking about.

but am sure if kenya pulls out of somalia like alshabaab demanded somalis will just go back to fighting the ugandans they bombed in 2010.

this is cause by kenyan meddling in somali affairs. you cant start a fight you cant finish.

Oh like that is just a normal everyday thing to do!! The only reason why your sh*thole of a country hasn't been bombed off the map is because people haven't got the time for you lots yet. Keep pushing your lucks and there might be no "Somalia" anymore.

You can agree or disagree with me that Chemical weapons in the hans of el-shabaab will mean total annihilation of Kenyans. In the hands of Boko Haram means complete annihilation of Southern Nigeria, in the hands of Al Qaeda means total burial of Americans.

Islam is mentally carcinogenic. You can take that to the bank.

Chemical weapons in the hands of anyone, not just jihadist will be detrimental. My point wasn't to disagree with punishing the jihadist, it was to disagree with your claim of bombing muslims in "hostile islamic country". Wouldn't nigeria count as an "hostile islamic country"? After all half of the population is muslim right, and we've even got our very own terrorist group.. How would you feel if they were to bomb Nigeria because of a couple of extremist "Boko Haram". I think the problem we have is that we tend to group people into categories and not focus on individuals, we let a couple of jihadist represent our views on how muslims are. I know muslims who are good, and that's why i believe that they are capable of good. Don't let a few bad apples spoil the bunch.

Islam is like cancer of the mind. It takes away common sense from her extreme believers.

Ok that's taking it a bit too far, you yourself said it "Extreme believers". Why punish everyone for the crime committed by a bunch of psychopaths, who use religion as an excuse to carry out their atrocities?

GH PATRIOT:

First 0ff! The USA's creation of the Taliban was not given a critical analysis by the state department.
During the cold war, both USSR and USA were involved in proxy wars. The taliban received funding, training and military materials because they had a common aim of dislodging USSR's influence in the region vis-a-vis USSR's invasion of Afghanistan.
After eight massive casualty years the USSR exited afghanistan, with their tail in between their legs.
To cut a long story short, the Taliban then felt they had arrived and could do what they did to USSR to USA, forgeting that you don't bite the hand that feeds you, and that it takes a super power to defeat a super power they are still learning the Hard Way through Drone Attacks!
So my sister, Boko Haram is a domestic(Nigeria) problem which the USA should not take the fall for.

But what if they aren't though? what if there is more to it that meets the eye? We as africans sit on our butts and watch things unfold in front of us without getting suspicious of it. The main reason I got very suspicious and started looking at the connection between boko haram and the U.S is when they mentioned that Nigeria will divide in 2015. How did they know that?? Are they psychic or something? As far as i know, I don't think Nigeria is planning for a war to happen soon. Well apart from the corruption and the lack of leadership in Nigeria, Nigeria's biggest problem is Boko Haram. That's where Nigeria gets divided, southern Nigerians start to hate Northern Nigerians because they feel Northern Nigerians are killing southern Nigerians. It seems like a planned out strategy to me, almost like a war strategy "Turn the two sides against each other and they will fight." All I am trying to say is that if Nigeria was to divide in 2015, it would be because the country is getting heated, (I.E too many people are dying) and like that guy said Boko Haram are getting advanced by the minute, so who is the master mind behind it? Who is funding them? (It can't possibly be some ambitious politician who wants a seat in the government, why go through all that trouble when you can just take it?) many people overlook this things because they seem crazy and far fetched, but to me it is worth getting suspicious about.

GH PATRIOT:

The points he outlined are self inflicted. Was it the USA who ordered a crackdown against the Boko haram which resulted in the extra judicial killing of the B0k0 haram leader?

If he believes puppet African countries are deporting Nigerians on the orders of America, then who is ordering the lagos state governor who is also deporting his fellow citizens?

Why should you shield your leaders who have clearly failed to forge a Nigerian identity and blame it on America conspiracy?

Look through my posts on this Thread, I am not brainwashed by USA mind games, but I will not descend to the point of absurdity just comment.

ok maybe the deportation part of his post was a little bit flawed, but I wouldn't totally debunk his claim of boko haram considering the fact that the US (C.I.A) created the Taliban .

It's your choice at the end of the day, but to me No knowledge is lost. I actually have a cousin who was a full certified nurse in Nigeria, but when she got to the states they told her to go back to university to take more courses because Nigerian license/certificates are not that accredited here. She was angry at first, but she later realized that it was for her own good. She saw that there were a lot of things she didn't know. She is now a full time registered nurse and she feels she knows more about the job than she did in Nigeria.
