I woke up at about 4am today with some pain lower abdomen but I wasn't sure it was contraction. It kept coming and soon were at regular intervals so i called my doc and he asked me to come in.
I went to the Hosp. Doc did VE, told me I'm dilating and that I should go home n come back in the night.
Pls pray for me.

Please am a first time mum to be. I found out I was preg last week(5weeks+) and a friend just informed me now that am supposed to have been taking Pregnacare/folic Acid to avoid health issues from my baby.i have started using it since last Saturday. Please mummies in the house, hope my baby is safe.thank uuu

Wow. I've learned new thing today oo. So they can do FGM with hand too? Interesting! That's how something led to talk of circumcision and MIL said it's not good if they don't circumcise girl children, that it has side effect and that I must circumcised my unborn girl children. Learned woman with degree! I first of all shouted in fear and amazement.. then told her no girl child of mine will be circumcised and that I wasn't, yet turned out fine. Lord have mercy. Lesson learned tho, my girl child is never gonna leave my sight anytime we go visiting her.

I'm at the hospital now. 2cm dilated already. Currently in the labour ward where they attached a drip to my thigh from my vagina. Dunno what it's called. Please wish me well

Please be careful the drugs you give your kid....yeap...antibiotic is a drug. No matter how it is applied, it is still a drug. Indiscriminate use of antibiotics can set your kids up for life....long-term health issues. The doctor that prescribed such for the other mum, might have his reasons. When it comes to drugs, it is not always one size fits all.

I heard the hibiscus flower thing works....you can bathe him with that, as long as you dont give him to drink. But as for the drugs, no pls.

Bimsusy if truelly it is alefo go and get bactroban cream fro a good pharmacy and ask them to give you and antibiotic u can use with it.The antibiotic is to push the alefo out fully from the body while the bactroban cream is to clear it outside.that was what i used for my dd when she had it and latest two days it went.I was told to use hibiscus flower to bath her which i did and didnt see result until my doctor told me to use that cream.just try it and see.

It was adviced here that once a week its okay and it has been working for me. My son's hair is very full and fine,i just pick a particular day i wash in a week and apply his chicco oil and shear butter after.

I don't think babies can have dandruff. It is called cradle cap. What I did for my LO was, pour olive oil on his head, wait 5-10 mins and comb out with a fine tooth comb.

There is a special shampoo for it though.

Please I need info on R-jolad hospital, I have not been there before but it's close to my house. Do we have mamas here who did antenatal and gave birth there? Thanks in advance.
