Watching Okocha play those days just gives me joy. Dude single handedly tried to make things happen against Denmark at France '98.

An entertainer, a footballer. So good, they named him twice. Jay Jay!

Even the commentary said it... All the drivers the shooting, Okocha will do everything..
His shots were just not always hitting the target, probably something I have noticed with all this older days puma boots, I guessed they have improved on it

All these noise makers about Lioness Mercy, Christmas Ronald, Ronaldeyino, etc... I've watched Alla Dem play. None dazzles like my J.J. OKOCHA. I so mastered very few of his skills, that till today I sometimes have teenage footballers ask me how I could do that.
But for "high level racism", they never gave him Balloon, talk less of Balon D'or. Someone whom Ronaldinho attributed his skills to perfectly mastering J.J. Skills when he won the world best award. I repeat, I will only respect all these "proud show offs" called world best footballers if they go to little clubs and drag them out of obscurity to limelight. E.g Lioness Mercy.

"He's so good. They named him twice" but wasn't declared. I've see free kicks by many greats but there were two of J.J's, my father and my God!!!!!, Beat all the laws of parabolic motion, went to the far left and back to right and zoooom into the net. DSTV used it for advert for 3years until I guess, a jealous soul would have said, "that's a disgrace to us na, stop it". As good as Mercy (or Grace) is, he dare not try to dribble the whole pitch, see an open net and return to dribble everyone again before scoring. His legs will be up in flames at the closest orthopedic hospital. Respect Sir J.J. A fan forever. Indomine generation will NEVER understand.

Well done sir, I am just too perplexed how Fifa would come on his birthday be making noise when u never recognized this guy in his playing days.
I was so engulfed with Jay Jay, he is a skill workshop. I mastered all his tricks too and practised them. JJ I such a delight to watch!

2pac predicted the death of Biggie on his song "My Closest Roaddogz" second version. Take a look a the bolded.

Haha.. bring artillery and ROLL with a nigga
They could never take the soul of a M.O.B. soldier nigga
Cowards get rolled up, mob on 'em Makaveli
Boy you's a boss player, that's what all the bitches tell me
Even if I died now
I live my life eternally and never lie down, why cry now?
Fooled a few but never 'came a gamer
Ain't tryin' to hear it
Evil spirits hide at total strangers, yo' life's in danger
Prepare nigga be aware, cause we ain't scared
M.O.B., 'til I die, when we ride niggas disappear
Fill 'em up with pistol smoke
Never forget to blow a hole in his head
For leakin' information to the feds
The burnin' bed was the tellin' sign
Two hired guns bustin' everyone, yellin' everybody die
Why the Bleep they Bleep around, we left 'em in the fog
Bleedin' like a stuck hog, me and my closest road dogz

Good one man, but that wasn't directed to Big, it's more like a normal battle line..
I was thinking u will mention God bless the Dead, the intro where he categorically called big out Big.
" God bless the dead, rest in peace to motherfucking Biggie smalls"
Men that was cold and so direct

Pac was a great rapper but wasn't streetwise,he was more of an activist, fine but he wasn't streetwise I will forever respect jay-z,piddy, Nas Dr dre and co.because after fame and money u need to leave that street and thug life and gangsterism and maintain a low profile which Pac didn't do after much fame, he was still living the gangster life and was loudmouthed at the end he still died very broke with no offering so sad

That was cus he chooses die like a true soldier than live all his life like a coward.
He stood by what he believes in.
The street made him and he has to stay true to street, that's a true soldier and that's why he is more influential than all those names u mentioned put together

Suge knight didn't killed 2pac neither CIA did,it was orlando anderson that killed 2pac.because suge knight was also shot in the arm that very night but he managed to drive 2pac to the hospital because pac shot was fatal, the reason why government turn a blind eye to PAC death was because they knew he was more than a rapper he was a mystery.pac died after one week in the hospital, his mother instructed the doctors to remove the life support machine so he wouldn't suffer frequent seizures in future because he had a bullet stocked in his lungs.

U got the gist, u a true Pac fan, true the mom told the Dr to pull the plug, cus I think if he survived he would have lost a finger or something and they all know Pac will better off dead.. Napoleon gave a clearer account on that

The Worse of all is to Depart this Earth without JESUS Christ.

If these young men had another opportunity at life, I Believe they will be Fire Preachers of the Gospel here on Earth.

Listen Folks, there is no Music concert in Hell Fire. There is no Party ,Concert or Album release in Hell.

The Only Music going on there is Music of tears, cries and wailing.

Tupac is in heaven sir, trust me. Cus mostly what he stood for a a Human was to see the good of others and how to appeal to ur inner person to change for the better... He said it himself and I have no reason to doubt him.
He said: I believe I am doing God's work, are all these ghetto kids not God children? Cus I don't see no missionaries coming to them, while all the other pastors and Rev Jackson do their preaching in the white House and pray over the president, I am out here in the ghetto with my folks, just because I don't have no bucket to pass around for people put their offerings and tithe doesn't mean I ain't doing God's work..
I honestly believe that's original idea of the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

wink

Sometimes, one needs to understand the fact that there's this kinda unique sweetness that these artistes derive from these quarrels...

As for me,Tupac remains the best rapper of all time...With clear and meaningful lyrics, unlike these modern days rap......Till tomorrow,I still dey jam tupac shakur songs like back to back cool. ....The only thing one can easily deduce from the rap of these days na PUSSY THIS,PUSSY THAT undecided. nothing else........

Rubbish..
God bless you sir, these young cats today lost all they manners with those useless lyrics.
In one interview Pac did from Jail, he said.. peep the game, don't just barb your head to the beat, listen to what they are saying in their lyrics if that's some real shit and hold us accountable for it...
That was so real and I felt it... It's a damn shame we lost Pac, he was way ahead of his time.

First to comment ... for the first time in my miserable and pathetic Nairaland life.

I dedicate this moment to Ubunja and his invaluable miseducations. You will never know how high in esteem, I hold you. You opened my eyes to a lot of hidden facts about those sets of homo sapiens with bloody holes at the meeting of their thighs. May the gods of the land continue to bless and uplift you, Ubunja.

... and may the souls of my Niggers, Tupac Shakur and Christopher Wallace continue to rest in peace.

Thug Life!

2pac' murder got me the most man, though by the time of his death, barely know shit about hip hop, but as time goes by I became a fanatic. Pac was deeper than rap and it's a damn shame the could not unravel the mystery behind his demise.... But like u said Pac " even if u die your music lives forever"
We holding it down for u big homie, make sure u save me a place at Thugs Mansion.

Niger Delta leaders at local, state and federal level are fantastically corrupt and make Lawrence Anini and Shina Rambo look like saints. That is why we need to support the provision in the PIB bill for 10% of revenue to go directly to the oil producing communities.

Even with the 10% it will still be misappropriated from the head to the bottom. Just imagine what dey did to the billions given to odi community as compensation by the goodluck government, they embezzled everything and shared pinnuts, money that was enough to transform the entire Odi to a city.
Destruction of the poor it's his Poverty indeed...
