The south south includes these 6 states, akwa ibom, cross river state,bayelsa state, delta state,edo state and river state.

These states politics are different and APC seems to be ignorant in that aspect, these people don't vote by sentiment like must people think, there are factors that controls their voting pattern.

1.Money- these oil rich region is all about the money,sure APC has some heavy weight like ameachi,akpabio,oshiomole,ogboru,udughan,obaseki but the problem is that it's not even..

Take Edo state for example,there are people two times richer than oshiomole and obaseki combined(igbenedion family),Bob izua(king of the boys), ize iyamu and co, these are people that will slice oshiomole to pieces in fact during 2015 election, oshiomole was kneeling and begging elders for endorsement and when he manages to win 2 out of 18 local government for buhari,he turned his back.

Udughan will always remain a loyal boy to ibori and APC knows that, there's no way APC can win delta,rigging or no ringing..

2. Propaganda- herdsmen crisis and buhari didn't even say anything is the worst thing that can happen to someone, there's no way you can campaign enough in order to make the people forget about it.

3. APC has no plans for south south- they have made it clear that there won't be restructuring in Nigeria which the south south desperately needs, so they have no gain supporting buhari.

4. APC started their campaign in south south a little too late, the PDP already has the structure to win buhari in south south before atiku was presented as a flag bearer.

5. Hunger, poverty , nepotism
