What I said was that leadership roles shouldn't be the sole responsibility of the males since women have proved that they are also capable of leading. I actually had the family setting in mind when I made this statement.


I am not going to start giving personal info about myself on this thread just to convince you. Besides, I can understand discrimination even if I have never suffered it. I can understand right and wrong because I have the sense to tell them apart.

Women are getting more opportunities to lead than they used to have because of movements for gender equality. It wasn't always this way. There was a huge movement in the late 90's after the world war, to keep women out of the workplace, c.fours stated this before. It is a gradual thing, of course more women are getting opportunities to acheive their potentials as leaders in places of work but that doesn't mean they no longer face discrimination. here, here and here contain info that show that women still suffer gender based employment discrimination and receive lower wages for doing the same work as men.
